Chapter 421
Tasting All My Mates
Now show you are guilty for not keeping up with your word and kick her out,â she added, pushing Lazlo to punish me some more.
I was not sure where else I would go, but Thiagoâs pack will be the only place where I might get to stay.
I feared Corbin. Once he knows Iâve been kicked out of Lazloâs pack, he can come and claim me by force as per the rules. He also mentioned making some new rules. Goddess knows what they are about.
âLazlo! You called me your sister. You cannot seriously let this woman stay here anymore after she played with both of our lives,â she stomped her foot, yelling like a stubborn child.I didnât say a word because I wanted to hear Lazlo say what he would do. And he said it.
âYou cannot be serious. I cannot do that.â Lazlo shook his head and turned away from both of us.
âWhat? Why? Itâs not like she loves you,â Christina questioned, her eyes red and bugging out in surprise.
âWhere would she go?â Lazlo unwrapped his arms from around his chest and asked Christina in a bit of an annoyed tone.
âThatâs not our problem. She played us all. We shouldnât be concerned about where she goes,â
Christina argued with him, making me understand she was an enemy all along.
âChristina! You should take Maynard and leave. We will continue working on the project, but I donât think itâs a good idea to stay under the same roof anymore,â Lazlo whispered under his breath, looking guilty for not pleasing her by kicking me out.
âYou want us to go for her?â Christina asked him, gasping a little.
âItâs not like Maynard didnât take part. I feel betrayed by both of them,â Lazlo added, not even wanting to make eye contact with any of us.
âWow! You are going to hate your friend because of her?â She let out a sarcastic laugh and clapped her hands.
âFine, we will leave now,â she nodded her head and while exiting out of the room, only slowed down to mutter, âYou are such a homewrecker.â
With that being said, she stormed out of the room.
âI cannot believe you were punishing me all this time for something I didnât do,â I whispered, watching Lazlo scoff at my display of emotions.
âYou should be the last one to even say a thing,â he said. âYou didnât care about my feelings. After how your mother wrecked me, you decided to do more damage to me. Gosh! I cannot stand you right now,â
he grunted, walking out of the room. I stayed in my spot for a minute before deciding to speak to Maynard one last time. I donât know who and when that rumour started, but it ruined my entire m*ntal peace. While walking towards the guestroom, I heard Maynard and Christina talking.
I didnât want to eavesdrop on them, but something intrigued. me enough to keep listening to their conversation.
âNow you are happy?â Maynard asked her, sounding a bit dull.
âNo! She should have been kicked out, even rejected. I canât believe such a big truth was kept from me,â she muttered to him.
âI donât know why you cannot just forget about it. Itâs over.â Maynard raised his voice a little, but then lowered his volume again.
âI cannot. I did so much for her, Maynard. I even killed my brother for her, and look how she repaid me,â
she sniffled from the other side of the door. So she wanted revenge on me because she thought I had been sleeping with her mate?
I donât even know how to feel about her game plan anymore. She was ready to go as far as to make me sleep with her mate just so that she could humiliate me. Why take it so far?
There seemed to be some missing pieces that I needed to find so that all this mess made sense. Thatâs when Maynard said something that made my world swirl under my feet.
âBut I have told you that she never accepted me. I was the one who offered her acceptance. I wanted her back, but she refused. She even slapped mâe,â His tone changed when referring to that incident.
So she knew I wasnât stealing her mate?
âWell, isnât that why I dragged her into your bed? You gave your ego a boost by sleeping with her after she claimed she would never be with you. So letâs not act like you didnât want this to happen.â As she exposed their entire plan, my jaw hit the floor.
Maynard did it so that he could feel good about himself because I slapped him and rejected him.
Before Maynard could talk back to her, I barged into the room and clapped hard enough to congratulate them on their game plan.
âWow! What a nice way to prove your friendship,â I commented, watching them share a glance and then lower their eyes only for a moment.
âI cannot believe you did this to me,â I yelled at Maynard as my emotions finally shattered all over the place.
