Chapter 241
Tasting All My Mates
241- The Seer, Who Saw Him Die Years Ago:
Authorâs POV:
âHazel! Luna Mel Gray is here to meet you.â Alaric ran to Hazel in shock and astonishment. It wasnât every day that the Lunas would come to see them. Whenever they came around, it meant their month would go well. They will pay a heavy amount.
âOh, My God!â Hazel was only in her early twenties, but she was already well-liked by the Royals; âI hope this one is nicer,â she said, expressing her apprehension at meeting these Royals. There were royals who would come for help and then get angry if things didnât go well to their liking.
âI am going to invite her in, okay?â Alaric told Hazel and ran out of the room to let her deal with Mrs.
Gray. The young Luna walked inside in a black gown and black cape, holding something under the blanket.
âHave a seat.â Hazel offered her a chair, but Mrs. Gray only stared at it and then let out a sigh.
âCan I get something more comfortable and clean?â she demanded while rolling her eyes at Hazel.
âSuâre!â Hazel knew she was encountering a messy one from the getâgo. For the next few minutes, it was just Alaric pulling a couch into the room for Mrs. Gray to sit down comfortably.
âI heard you can do magic,â Mrs. Gray muttered while watching Hazelâs face.
âYes, I can.â She answered sweetly, âBut only the Royal knows about it. Magic is forbidden, so my services are only foââ Hazel was sweetly trying to explain when Mrs. Gray hushed her.
âI am not here to listen to your stupid life story. I am here to get some work done,â she responded a bit rudely to Hazel. But it wouldnât be the first time that Hazel encountered someone like that. She pouted sadly and then nodded.
âTell me, how may I help you?â She put on a brave face even when the insults broke her inside.
âSomething is wrong with my little son,â Mrs. Gray said as she unwrapped the blanket and showed Hazel her son.
âDid you go to the doctor?â Hazel asked, since she didnât understand how she was supposed to help her with her child.
âYou dumb bitch, of course, I did.â Mrs. Gray yelled at her as anger took over her. Hazel was taken aback.
âCalm down,â Mrs. Gray comforted herself before demanding a crib for her son.
âDo you have a child?â Mrs. Gray asked Hazel, who shook her head, âHuh! one less piece of trash,â
she muttered, waiting for Alaric to bring them a baby crib. Once she laid her son down in the crib, she turned to talk with Hazel, who was completely lost at this point.
She had met many rude and disgusting royals, but Mrs. Gray stole the crown.
âThe doctor said my son is suffering from some disease that is rare in werewolves. He will lose blood with time and by the time he is only 5, he will die.â Mrs. Gray was panicking; her hands were shivering when talking about her sonâs future.
âI know about it. Only a few werewolves go through it,â Hazel said, having researched âMy son is going to die, the future Alpha, and those doctors told me they could not do anything to help me. Do you understand my frustration?â Mrs. Gray said as she stared at her son and shed tears.
âI understand. Even though I donât have a kid of my own, I understand what you are going through.
However, I am not sure how you expect me to help you.â Hazel wasnât sure if Mrs. Gray wanted her to go to all the extremes to save her little boy, who was only turning 4.
âSave my son.â Mrs. Gray felt like hitting Hazel for even asking her what she wanted from her. It was obvious that Mrs. Ä¢ray wanted her to save her sonâs life by any means.
âDonât tell me you cannot help me,â Mrs. Gray then glared at Hazel when she found her silent.
âI can, but it requires dark magic,â Hazel was a bit hesitant. She didnât want to upset anyone, and also, Mrs. Gray didnât seem like someone who would be ready to accept it if the magic didnât work.
âI donât give a damn. Just please help my son.â Although it seemed like she was demanding, her hands met together to plead for her sonâs life.
âHAA!â Hazel let out a deep breath but couldnât say anything to her.
âI will shower you with money.â As soon as Hazel heard that, her look changed. They were in very good condition; a little money would help her.
âOkay!â Hazel agreed.
âReally? Wait! Does that mean there is a way to save my child?â Mrs. Gray seemed to have found a reason to live.
âThere is,â Hazel said confidently. She was ready to do anything to help her.
âOh goodness!â Mrs. Gray happily stepped out of her seat to step aside and let Hazel take a look at the baby.
Hazel reached for the baby, and a smile crept over her lips. The baby was very innocently sleeping.
She checked his pulse and then placed her hands on his head to see his future. She was a bit disappointed, as she couldnât see much.
âMay 1?â She then turned to Mrs. Gray to check on her and placed her hands on her head to read her future.
âOh, no!â She instantly removed her hands and stepped back from her.
âWhat? Please tell me whatâs wrong?â Mrs. Gray was shocked, scared by what this seer saw.
âThere are complications in your life,â Hazel didnât like telling a mother that her future would be filled with anguish as a result of what was happening to her son.
âI donât get it. Tell me whatâs going on?â Mrs. Gray was breathing profusely, her eyes fixated on Hazel to hear her out.
âEven if we save her today, he will die by the hands of his mate when he turns 21,â she finished, and Mrs. Grayâs mouth hung low.
âNO!â she shook her head. âNot my little boy. He is my savior. Please, not him!â Those words got embedded in her head.
