Ava let out a smile hearing Louis’ confidence. Seeing that, Jeremy’s eyes softened.

“Ava, with what we’re doing, are you getting excited?”

Ava’s eyebrows rose. She glanced. “Excited?”

“Taking care of children. When we have children, more or less, we will

be like this. Bathing them and drying their hair together. Isn’t this very fun?”

Ava got blushed. Meanwhile, the twins glanced at each other and played with their eyebrows.

When they arrived, several fire engines were still lined up. The officers no longer sprayed water. The fire was out and the building still stood, charred on several sides. However, everything inside was gone.

In front of the building, Eva sat with a blank look. Her face was wet with tears. Her shoulders drooped helplessly.

“No.” Ava shook her head weakly. Her eyes filled with tears.

Eva turned to leave. Ava tried to give chase, but Jeremy held her back.

“Give her time, Ava. Her mind and heart are in turmoil.”

However, Ava didn’t hear. Her heartache dominated. “Eva? Eva….” Her

hands flailed around.
