During dinner, Eva didn’t make a sound at all. She ate gracefully, listening to the conversation while occasionally nodding.

Even when Vivian asked about Mrs. Connor’s physiotherapy, she didn’t interrupt. It seemed like she no longer needed the attention she had been looking for.

mother underwent physiotherapy earlier.”

Jeremy rolled his eyes. With a lazy look, he picked up the telephone receiver. Unexpectedly, Eva snatched it.

stairs.

Meanwhile, Jeremy took a deep breath. His temples throbbed, thinking about Eva’s behavior just now.

After a firm nod, Jeremy grabbed his phone.
