Chapter 1563 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
Andersâs smile slowly faded and expressed his displeasure.
âWho dares invade my territory?â he sternly questioned.
âThe intruderâs identity is unknown, but theyâre tough! Our guys inside the manor couldnât handle it. Sir, we need backup now!â a guard reported, respectfully bowing.
âSerious firepower? How many troops are we talking about?â Anders narrowed his eyes.
âJust one person,â the guard replied. âWhat?â Anders scowled. âYouâre telling me you couldnât handle one person? What good are you all?â
âWe messed up, sir. Our apologies!â The guard hung his head in shame.
They should have had this under control with almost a hundred guards in the manor, and they were all elite warriors. But the intruder was exceptional, demolishing everything in his way, unstoppable in his drive.
âSir Anders, whoever this intruder is, we canât let them off easy. Anyone daring to trespass on Jadeleaf Manor needs to pay with his blood!â Scott, fueled with anger, declared.
âLetâs go. Itâs time to deal with this intruder!â Anders raised his glass for a final swig, then led the crew of followers outside.
On the manorâs lawn, a bloodied figure slowly approached. Broken bodies of guards lay scattered, groaning in pain with severed limbs.
âWho are you? How dare you cause a ruckus in my territory! Are you looking for trouble?â Anders thundered, his voice echoing across the manor.
âScott Mosey, get out here and face the consequences!â Dustin ignored Anders, his gaze fixed on Scott in the crowd.
Cold and menacing, Dustinâs eyes zeroed in on Scott.
âItâs you?â Scott squinted, surprised, âI never thought you would still be kicking. Lucky you!â
In theory, Scottâs plan was foolproof. Once Lana administered Tranqurin to Dustin, even if he was powerful, he would be a sitting duck.
Could Lana have betrayed him? Who would sacrifice friends and family for a little boy toy?
âScott, you know this guy?â Anders turned to Scott.
âSir Anders, Dew Balmâs making waves, right? This bastard here is the brains behind it. I wanted to collaborate with him.
âBut not only did he say no, but he also had someone poison me, tarnishing the Mosey familyâs reputation!
âI wanted to school him, but he not only survived but showed up here to mess up your day,â Scott explained, clueless about the gravity of the situation.
âI see.â Anders nodded.
âIâve heard of Dew Balm. Itâs a big deal in healing elixirs. Iâm intrigued. Thatâd be a game-changer if we can monopolize it.â
With a three-hundred-thousand- strong army that was always in battle, Anders needed top-tier healing supplies.
