Chapter 1545 by Marina Vittori
An Understated Dominance
John felt like thousands of wild horses were trampling his heart as he watched his leader surrender. Didnât he say they would rather die than disgrace the gangâs principles? Didnât he say theyâd die trying?
Did he just fucking change his mind in a blink of an eye? Now that he could live, what would happen to him?
âHey, didnât you say weâd die together? Why did you suddenly change your mind?â John was shocked.
âHey man, donât blame me. I have a family to feed; I canât die yet. Besides, youâre already infertile.
âThere isnât a purpose to your life anymore. Iâll take care of your siblings for you. You may leave in peace,â The stubbled man said compassionately.
âYou asshole! Youâve betrayed our gangâs principles! You should fucking die!â John was furious as he unsheathed his knife and attempted to stab the stubbled man.
The stubbled man quickly reacted as he picked up a brick from the floor and aimed straight at Johnâs head.
âBam!â It was a muted but sickening sound. The brick broke into pieces, and Johnâs head fractured. Blood gushed out from his wound as he staggered around dizzily before falling to the floor. However, the stubbled man didnât stop. He continued to hit Johnâs head with the brick.
âDie! You should die!â The stubbled man looked hateful as he delivered blow after blow with all his might.
Very soon, John had stopped breathing completely. His head looked like a smashed watermelon as his blood and brain spilled out.
To make sure that John was really dead, the stubbled man picked up a knife and viciously stabbed it at Johnâs heart several times. He only stopped after he was sure there was no way John would be alive.
âYou even killed your men. Youâre really wicked,â Dustin commented calmly.
âEvery man for himself. If he didnât die, Iâd be dead. He should have prepared himself when he decided to join the gang.â The stubbled man was breathless.
âYou said it was Scott Mosey who hired you to do all this. Where is he now?â Dustin didnât beat around the bush and went straight to the point.
âI wouldnât have any idea about this. Heâs our superior. Why would he tell us, the lowly gangsters, his whereabouts?â The stubbled man shook his head.
âHow do you contact each other then?â
Dustin asked.
âThrough his subordinates. They would contact us by phone. Heâll pay when we send a picture showing that we have completed the requested job.
âWe never have to meet each other. Itâs convenient and safer this way,â The stubbled man answered honestly.
âThatâs a very foolproof arrangement.â Dustin narrowed his eyes. It was obvious that this wasnât their first time working together. Scott must been used to hiring killers to take out his opponents. 10.
However, it was too bad that Scott was arrogant and underestimated Dustin.
âGood sir, now that Iâve told you everything I know, can I leave now?â The stubbled man said with a forced smile.
âMy arm is severed, and I need to stop the bleeding. I need to rush to the hospital. If not, my life will be in danger.â
âItâs alright. Save yourself the trouble. I can help you,â Dustin said calmly.
âWhat? Are you a doctor as well?â The stubbled man asked inquisitively.
âNot by trade. But I know a little.â Dustin pointed his finger at the stubbled manâs forehead as he spoke.
âBam!â At the sound of an explosion, there was a hole that looked like a gunshot wound on the stubbled manâs forehead.
âY-You broke your promise!â
