Mdm Welton’s shift of attitude made Evan frown but he didn’t want to argue with her. He asked calmly “Grandma, did someone say something to you?”

Mdm Welton asked angrily, “You don’t need to know about that. I’m asking you. Was Anya unfaithful?”

Evan didn’t want to say it was his responsibility. After all, he was the one who had taken her virginity and he had been sleeping with her.
