Desires Die Hard Chapter 363
Desires Die Hard (Anya and Evan) by Beryl Occam
Chapter 363
No. 2 Mansion was brightly lit.
The maid heard the doorbell ringing and opened the door. It was Anyn. The maid welcomed her warmly, âMs. MacMillan, come on in. Mr. Welton isnât home yet.â
Anya smiled, âI know. I will wait for him.â
âWould you like something to drink?â the maid asked while walking with her to the sofa.
Anya shook her head and replied, âI am not thirty. I wonât bother you then.â
The maid said, âI will make you some birdâs nest. Mr. Welton asked me to do that.â
Before Anya could refuse, the maid walked to the kitchen and cook for her.
Anya looked at her back and froze for a second. Actually, Anya had no appetite. She came to confront Evan.
He had promised her he wouldnât talk with the children behind her back. However, he broke his word.
What on earth did he want?
Besides, she had made love to him. Why wasnât he satisfied?
She had no clue what he was thinking about.
In fact, he never opened up to her. She couldnât enter his heart or know who he really was. She was just a booty call.
She went off into wild flights of fancy and couldnât calm down.
She waited on the couch biting her lips anxiously for about 20 minutes before Evan came back.
Soon, the door to the mansion was opened,
He appeared in the doorway in a wellâpressed suit.
Anya looked back at him and rose to her feet. âEvan, there is something I want to ask you.â
âWhat is it?â Evan glanced at her and walked over slowly. His voice was gentle, but his gaze was deep and unfathomable.
He was collected.
She couldnât tell his emotions from his expression.
âDid you talk to Nathaniel and Eudora?â She went straight to the point because he was too smart to fool.
Therefore, she didnât need to waste her time beating around the bush.

He stared at her in silence for a while before admitting, âYes,â
It was confirmed. Anya was pissed off and glared at him, balling her fists. âDidnât we have a deal? I would sleep with you, and you wonât disturb my cousinâs children!
âBesides, the paternity tests have shown they are not your children! Why do you have to pester them?
âYou even asked them to call you dad. What do you want? Anya was keyed up, and her voice became shriller. The maid heard her and hurried over.
âMiss, sir, what is going on?â
âGo home first. We need to talk to her alone.â
The maid didnât dare to ask anything else and took off her apron. Then she grabbed her bag and left the mansion.
Then Evan said, âWhat about you? Why did you lie to me?â
Anya froze for a moment and glared at him, her chest heaving. âWhat do you mean? When did I lie to you?â
Evan chuckled. Then a menacing grin spread across his handsome and nonchalant face. He approached her and grabbed her waist, pressing her against himself. âYou think 2 paternity tests can fool me?
âAnya, you underestimate me.â
