Chapter 13 // Baby Liam is better now that Mama Adri is with him.

Third person

Scott soon ended up sleeping next to Adrianna. His arm wrapped around her, being careful with her stomach as well so that he wasn't hurting her or the baby. He could already hear the baby's heartbeat causing him to smiling himself to sleep.

Adrianna was sound asleep for the very first time in months. Usually, she would have gotten nightmares which caused her to stay awake all night due to how frightening they were. All her nightmares were about her past. Mainly, about her father who passed away when she was only 8 years old. And also about him. The mysterious chocolate brown eyes leaving her alone with their baby.

She doesn't know why she gets nightmares about them. It was just a daily routine ever since she had gotten pregnant and she was starting to get really annoyed about the nightmares.

Scott slowly fluttered his eyes open and the first thing he saw was Adrianna's face. She looked peaceful while she was sleeping and she still looked extremely beautiful. Her mouth was in a slight pout and Scott wanted to kiss her lips so badly but decided against it.

He knew she wanted to go slow due to her unborn baby and how she's going to be a single mother. Atleast, that's what she thinks. But, Scott... Scott wants to help out with the baby. He really wanted to be in the baby's life. He finally wanted to have some responsibility and he was definitely going to be responsible now because this is a baby. Not a toy.

"Good morning, beautiful." Scott whispered to her and kissed her forehead when he noticed that she started to twitch.

"Shut up." She mumbled to him and then quickly snuggled up onto his chest causing him to chuckle.

"We have to get up now. I have to drive you to your house so you can get ready for school in two hours from now." Scott whispered and kissed the top of her head once again while rubbing her back.

"School can suck my pregnant ass." Adrianna blurted out and Scott shook his head while smiling at the adorable little pregnant girl.

You should know one thing about Adrianna Carter. It's that she loves her sleep. She absolutely loves her sleep that she will seriously kill you if you wake her up. But since this was Scott she decided not to do anything to him.

"I do love this a lot but I want to make a good first impression with your family. So, come on." Scott tells her and then pulls away from the light brunette haired girl but then picked her up bridal style.

"Scott." She groaned and rested her head on his chest, closing her eyes wanting to sleep once again but that was definitely not happening.

Scott sighed when he realized that he only drives a motorcycle and his mother already left for work in her van. He then rolled his eyes at himself when he remembered that he drove here in Adri's brand new car that her aunt bought her.

Scott placed her in the passengers seat, putting her seatbelt and then placed the small pillow beside her so that her head can lay on it instead of the hard window. He quickly ran into the house and grabbed all her stuff including her slippers.

When he got back out he put his slippers on her feet gently and then got in the drivers seat. Scott looked over at her and smiled widely not believing how lucky he was to have her in his life although they only met not so long ago. They just automatically clicked when they first met. Something inside of him knew they were going to be something big. He just knew.

"Hello, Mrs. Carter. I'm sorry we had to meet like this but your daughter wouldn't want to wake up and I didn't want her to go to school late." Scott explained to Theresa when she opened the door when she heard knocking and saw the teenage boy holding her daughter in his arms while she slept away.

Theresa couldn't help but to smile at the sight of the two of them. Because no matter how much she hated the idea of her daughter dating someone when she was only four months pregnant. She had admit that they looked so good together and that Scott was already doing a first good impression on her. Showing that he cares about her school education and how much he cares for her by bringing her home in his arms, sound asleep.

"Come in, Scott. Please, call me Theresa. Thank you for taking care of my daughter. I know she's a handful." Adrianna's mother joked as she closed the door once Scott walked in and placed her gently on the couch.

He walked over to Theresa and put his hand out for her to shake but Theresa slapped it away, pulling him in for a hug. He was surprised by her action but then quickly responded, hugging her back.

"You're cute, Scott." Theresa blurted out while pinching his cheek, causing the McCall kid to grin, his dimples showing off.

"Thank you, Theresa. I'd like to think that. You're daughter is very gorgeous just like you." Scott complimented causing Theresa to gush at that.

"Oh, please! If anyones the gorgeous one it's me." Katherine spoke up loudly causing Theresa to shush her and then slap her behind the head when she was standing next to her.

"Ow!" She yelped and glared at her older sister.

"Adrianna's asleep. Let her sleep for a bit until she has to get dressed for school." Theresa scolded her younger sister while Katherine mumbled under her breath but Scott heard her causing him to hold in a laugh.

"Huh. He's cute. Adrianna knows how to get all the handsome boys." Katherine commented making Scott blush at her compliment.

Scott felt slightly awkward here but decided to man up about it. There was no way he was going to leave now because he wanted to make a good impression on them so that he could later on ask them for permission to ask out Adrianna.

Yes, he was taking it old school.

"Don't make him uncomfortable now, Kath. You're to old him for him." Theresa smirked at her younger sisters reaction to her comment.

"I'm only 32!" Katherine snapped back at her not liking her attitude right now.

"And he's only 17!" Theresa tells her back as she pointed at Scott who was now sitting down beside Adrianna. Who was already awake.

She looked up to see Scott and sighed when she heard the yelling from her mother and from her aunt. She sat up and rubbed her face.

"He's almost legal!" Katherine yelled back at her and they kept on going back and forth about how old Katherine was.

"I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep now that I'm here." Adrianna sighed and got up but grabbed Scott's hand, pulling him with her upstairs and into his room.

They both went to school together and Scott was later on no where to be found around 1:20 and Adrianna was starting to get worried. Even more when he wasn't answering any of her calls. It's been about 7 hours now and no one knows where he is.

"You need to calm down, mija. Maybe an emergency came up? You shouldn't worry because that only harms the baby." Katherine tried to calm down her niece who was pacing around the living room with her phone in her hand. She sighed and sat down on the couch, placing her phone on her small but yet big tummy.

"I'm sorry, Kath. I just... I-I really like this guy. He actually cares about me unlike him." She mutters as she talking about her ex-boyfriend who no one is allowed to say his name.

"Sweetie, I know he was quite a jerk to you towards the end of the relationship but don't you miss him? Or his brother? You three were inseparable." Katherine says softly, sitting next to the teenager who was currently having mood swings because of her pregnancy.

"Not anymore. Scott has always been on my mind. I know it seems harsh but you weren't there when they did that thing to me. It really hurt me. Scott has been treating me like a princess." Adrianna breathed out when she talked about her feelings to her aunt.

"I understand, baby. He's a keeper. But... if he does hurt you I will hurt him. I know where he lives. He's Melissa's son." She tells her causing Adrianna to giggle but then her whole face lit up when her phone started to ring.

"Hello? Scott?" She answered and once she heard Scott's voice she immediately got happy but the tone of his voice worried her.

"Adrianna, I need you to come over to the animal clinic. Liam wants you to be here." Scott tells her as he looked over at the young beta who was sitting up on the table as he looked around the room with a scared face.

"Liam? What happened to him? What am I missing, Scott?" She asked him causing Katherine to look at her in worry.

"I'll explain when you're here. Just be careful, okay?" He asked her.

"Yeah, I'm on my way." She tells him and hung up the phone, picking up her purse she was about to walk out but her aunt stopped her.

"Adrianna, what's wrong?" Katherine asked her and she's noticed that lately Adrianna has been being very secretive and very mysterious. She always leaves the house out of the blue in worry or in a hurry.

"My friend Liam broke his arm. Scott wanted me to go over there to be with him." Adrianna tries to explain to her and then left quickly leaving Katherine there not believing a word she had just said.

"I'm here!" Adrianna yelled once she walked in the animal clinic and ran over to Liam who wrapped his arms himself but soon wrapped his arms around Adrianna's small frame.

"What the hell happened?" She asked Scott not noticing that Chris and Deaton were there staring at her in awe as she mothered baby Liam.

Liam snuggled his face onto her neck while Adrianna played with his wet hair. Trying to comfort him and it worked because he was so tense earlier, now he's starting to relax under her touch.

"Garrett stabbed me with a special wolfsbane and then threw me in a deep well. Leaving me to die." Liam whispered to her and that made Adrianna's heart stop because she didn't want him to deal with that. She didn't want him to die. She didn't want him to live in this world but there was no choice for him now.

"Well, I'm here now." Adrianna whispered to him and sighed in relief when she looked up at Scott.

"Is this Adrianna?" Chris asked Scott raising his eyebrows at him considering Scott was talking about her nonstop to him earlier today.

Chris didn't seem jealous that Scott moved on from his daughter. He was happy that he finally moved on from her because he knew that Allison would have loved him to move on. Especially with someone so kind and had a big heart like Adrianna.

"Yeah." Scott blushed but couldn't hell but to smile as he stared at her mothering Liam.

"Protect her." Chris tells Scott.

"I definitely will." Scott whispered, his eyes lighting up when Adrianna's blue eyes met his brown eyes.
