Ryan had caught Maya staring multiple times today, maybe because they were mostly in the car. Usually, Maya stares at Ryan when they're together and Ryan doesn't notice.
"Are you embarrassed that I saw you staring at me?" Ryan asked Maya as they walked. Dylan was on the phone, walking ahead, and Ryan was bugging Maya. Though, she never minded.
"No." Ryan laughed and wrapped her arm around Maya's waist.
"Good, because I think it's cute as hell." Maya laughed and kissed Ryan's cheek. She thought Ryan was the cute one actually. Obviously that's why she'd been staring at her. The talk they'd had earlier made Maya feel so much better about their relationship. Especially because for the first time she'd been in a relationship, she felt the same way. "Your brother seems pissed." Ryan mumbled, watching Dylan.
He was having an argument with someone, not talking loudly though.
"Fucking idiot." He muttered, hanging up. He turned and looked at the two. He smiled as best as he could. "Sorry about that guys. We're just coming up to the club." He'd decided to take them to his club.
"What happened on the phone?" Maya asked him. He sighed and shook his head.
"I had a performer booked at my club tonight and she cancelled out of nowhere." Maya frowned.
"No backups?"
"I think she's sick, but I'm going to find out now. Unless Ryan wants to do it." He winked at her and Maya rolled her eyes.
"I don't have any talents, what do you mean perform?" Maya and Dylan laughed.
"She's a stripper Ryan." Ryan's eyes widened then she laughed a little.
"I know how Maya is about her girl so, I won't even ask. But, Ryan you are really a beautiful girl, you'd make some money." Ryan pursed her lips.
"That's good to know. It'd be nice to have money like that." Maya looked at Dylan and Ryan unamused. Then she sighed.
"Ryan, if you really want to do it, do it. I trust you."
"Perfect... completely perfect." Dylan said grinning. Ryan just seemed happy that she'd be getting some money.
~
The music was bumping, Maya felt alive actually. She and Dylan sat at the front table, Maya anxious to see what Ryan would look like.
"You aren't mad at me about this are you? I could still pull her out now. I just got you here Maya, it isn't worth losing you or your respect." Maya smiled.
"I'm glad you feel that way Dyl, but honestly, I don't mind. Ryan loves money, but she loves me. She wouldn't do it if I had a problem. I'm actually excited to see her 'perform'." Dylan laughed.
"I'm glad. And hey, I think she'll do fine. She's got sex appeal." Maya looked at him.
"Thank you." Dylan laughed even harder.
"If you're that protective, this is going to be even harder for you than you thought."
"Well, I plan to be the one she comes to first. And I plan to give her the most ones." They both laughed and a man walked to them.
"Hey, can I get you a drink?" He asked Maya. She smiled politely.
"No thank you. I'm with someone."
"This bozo? I know for sure he's the club owner and he just has sex with different people every night." Maya and Dylan laughed, confusing him.
"The bozo's her brother and could also kick you out of his club. Excuse yourself before I embarrass you." The man walked away mumbling obscenities to himself.
"So is that what you do when you're running the club?" Maya asked Dylan, amused.
"Don't act like you weren't the exact same way before her. The same day Mom found out about my freaking STD, you had a girl in your room who you had to sneak out. Besides, those are just clients. Nothing real." Maya shrugged nonchalantly. It's true, she wasn't going to deny it.
"But we aren't talking about me." Dylan laughed and kissed her cheek.
"Well tonight, I don't want anyone, I'm just going to hang out with my favorite girl and her favorite girl." Maya smiled.
"Means a lot Dyl."
"I do really like Ryan, though. I don't know if you actually do, but..." Maya frowned.
"What would make you think I don't like her or love her?"
"The fact that you're territorial and you're letting her do this. I know how you are Maya. Just think about it." Maya raised her eyebrow. Hmm, he did know me pretty well. But, I do love Ryan, am I missing something?... I honestly don't think so.
"I don't think you're right Dyl. Actually, I know you're not right. I really love Ryan. That's my girl, she makes me feel so powerful and so good about myself and us as a whole. She loves me Dyl, and maybe that's why I'm okay with her doing this. Because I am one hundred percent sure she loves me." Dylan smiled nodding slowly.
"First of all, ew. Second, I'm glad you feel that way. It's a good thing and I'm proud of you. Ryan and I talked about you this morning."
"Of course you did. The same way you told me excitedly that you liked her, I'm sure you asked her about me." He smiled sheepishly.
"I had to know, Maya. I didn't even quiz her though, I just asked about you. I decided to tell her about your father, but surprisingly, you already did." Maya nodded.
"I don't have a problem talking to her." Maya scoped out the club. You could never know, anything could happen. Are any of these men weirder pervs than usually in a club? That was honestly the only thing that worried her about Ryan. Yet, she knew Ryan could take care of herself. "This club ever have those nasty weird old pervert men?"
"Actually no. Believe it or not, there's usually women who watch the women perform and a few stray business men looking for a chill night. The older men usually go to the pub down the street. They say my club is too... expensive." Maya nodded, thanking God silently. But still, you could never be too careful. She was just glad they got a front seat.
"So you think she's learned the routine by now?" Dylan laughed.
"Are you getting worried?" Maya rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter if she does or not. They don't really care, she's hot. I can also tell that even if Ryan got super awkward, they'd think she's cute. She'll do great Maya, I'm telling you. I'm going to have to have her back one of these days." Maya rolled her eyes, but laughed. Some of Dylan's friends came over, one girl in particular thought it was cool to flirt with Maya while one guy was flirting with Dylan. Maya laughed inwardly, Dylan was not gay or bi, he only liked women. In fact he loved women.
He introduced these people to Maya. She thought they were honestly loud and obnoxious, but they were his friends, so she played nice.
Within another thirty minutes, Dylan jumped up and ran to the stage to announce Ryan coming out.
"Hello there ladies, gentlemen, and my non binary babies! Tonight, I have someone special for you guys. You've never seen her around here, because she's never performed. But I know for sure you'll all love this beautiful woman! Give it up for Walker Texas Stranger!" Maya laughed so hard at that name, but it made sense.
He jumped off the stage and sat back down.
"Dude, who is this girl?" One of the guys asked.
"Shut up and you'll see." He told them. The lights dimmed down and Ryan stepped out wearing a cowgirl costume... well a sexy cowgirl costume. Maya looked up at her, she looked confident, like she knew what she was doing. Maya looked pleasantly surprised, her girlfriend was going to rake in some money tonight. Maya might even ask her to reenact the whole thing back at home.
Ryan came out, swaying her hips to the music slowly. Her eyes went around the whole room, and the last person she looked at was Maya. She stared at Maya with a smirk on her face, then she winked.
She had a fake gun, which was pretty funny to Maya, she was flinging it around to the music like she was shooting people, and they were living for it. The crowd was living for Ryan. They were cheering loudly. She began walking down the steps, looking around the room again. She shook her hips and danced seductively as she walked around. She smiled at a woman who was holding out money and kissed her cheek. She took the money and put it in her bra, then moved on, taking other's money. Meanwhile, Maya held up a twenty, waiting for Ryan to come over. She'd already come once, Maya and Dylan's friends had given her one's.
Ryan made her way back over there, pulling her jacket off, throwing it to Dylan's friend Rachel.
"She threw me her jacket!" Rachel yelled excitedly. Maya could already tell, Rachel thought her girl was hot. But... so did most of the people in the room. Ryan looked at Maya holding that twenty and grinned. She pushed her boobs out for Maya to put it in and Maya did so.
"Okay, no more touching." Ryan told her, putting the hat on Maya. She ran her hands down Maya's body, then put her leg over Maya's, doing some sexy dance moves, causing everyone to yell. She turned around and shook her butt in Maya's face. Then she turned around one more, kissed Maya's cheek, took her hat back, and then left. Maya couldn't help the grin that was plastered on her face.
She collected more money around the room, occasionally messing with the people. She'd only had on a bra and very short bottoms on by the end. The music stopped and the crowd roared for her, including Maya. She blew a kiss before walking backstage.
"Told you she'd do good. Better than good." Dylan told her. Another performance was up next, but there was a twenty minute wait.
"Hey, there she is, I wonder if I can get her number." Maya smiled at the girl who had the jacket.
"I doubt it." Dylan said. "How about you-" Maya turned and saw Ryan walking towards them, smiling widely.
"How'd you like it babe?" She heard in her ear. She turned around and wrapped her arms around Ryan's neck.
"It was sexy, but it's good to let all of them know you're taken now." Maya said, kissing her.
"Hmm, I agree. I had lots of fun though. Thanks for letting me do it. And thanks Dylan, for the opportunity." He smiled and shook his head.
"No, thank you. People are going to be looking here for you again you know?" Ryan raised her eyebrow.
"You think I did that good?" Maya nodded.
"You did great babe."
"Yeah. Maya, introduce us to your girl." Rachel said, giving Ryan a stare. Ryan rolled her eyes.
"I can introduce myself. My name is Ryan and I am indeed Maya's girlfriend." Maya smiled and took Ryan's hand in hers. Maya was glad Ryan was fully dressed. It was fine when she was dancing, but now, Maya was staring to get possessive.
"Ryan, this is Rachel, Eric, Quincy, and Andy." Dylan said.
"Nice to meet you guys." She replied before looking at Maya. "I think I can afford to buy you a drink now... you'll just have to order it." Ryan winked, making Maya laugh. "Honestly, do you want a drink? On me." Ryan asked her. Maya grinned, raising her eyebrow.
"Got that much money now?" Ryan wiggled her eyebrows and nodded. Maya looked at Dylan, feeling Ryan's hand move up her thigh to her waist. "We'll be back Dyl." He nodded and Maya stood from her chair. She held her hand tightly on Ryan's waist.
"Thanks for the twenty." Maya laughed.
"Well, I had to... it was sexy. So was that dance." Ryan laughed and kissed her.
"I can do it again for you. I have no problem with that." She winked and they both laughed.
~
After the next performer, Dylan took them to a nice restaurant to eat. It was very good looking food, yet somewhat expensive.
"It's fine. I got you tonight." Ryan told her, her hand on Maya's leg.
"Ryan, you just got the money, why spend it on me?"
"What else would I spend it on? I want to do this Maya, and no, I won't regret it. Money isn't the most important thing to me." Maya looked at her surprised then smiled.
"Well... okay."
"And don't worry, I don't think it's stupid." Maya laughed and kissed her cheek.
"Thank you."
"What're you guys talking about?" Dylan asked.
"I'm going to pay for Maya's meal is all. On the other hand, your friends are cool Dylan."
"Thanks, they're annoying as hell to me. Don't know how to mind their business. I'm sorry about them flirting with you guys. They flirt with me too, they aren't really my good friends. They just... hang around me for money." Maya raised her eyebrow.
"And your real friends?"
"One had a video and one had other business to tend to."
"Got it."
"But, one lady friend of mine will be here dining with us. I've ordered her food and she'll be here soon." Ryan wiggled her eyebrows.
"Someone special? Who could it be?" Maya shook her head at Ryan, laughing a little.
"We're just talking for now, but she's nice. I actually really like her, she's good for me. Beautiful with a beautiful soul. I mean, she's a bit bossy, but doesn't everyone need some of that?"
"What's this about me being bossy?" A very attractive woman stood behind Dylan, kissing his forehead. She had curly blond hair, and a nice curvy body.
"Hey Madelyn, you're early."
"I wanted to surprise you. I'm guessing you two are Maya and Ryan? It's so nice to meet the two of you!" She said smiling genuinely and shaking their hands.
"You too." Maya was impressed. She seemed nice, just as Dylan said.
"How was the performance? Did they come?"
"It was nice, Ryan performed instead. The girl didn't fucking come, she cancelled at the last damn minute." Dylan muttered angrily. "But, Ryan did so good, it didn't even matter." Madelyn clapped excitedly.
"That's great! I can tell you did good. Dylan, are you still hanging out with them?" Maya stared at the two of them amused.
"Yes, but I don't like them. They sat with us, I didn't ask them to."
"Dylan, I'm not telling you what to do, but they're bad to be around. They're shit and don't even care about you. I just want good things for you." Dylan sighed and nodded, taking her hand.
"I know, and I get that. Thank you for watching out for me." Madelyn smiled and kissed Dylan's cheek.
"Of course babe." Dylan turned a bright red and Madelyn laughed, wiping her lipstick off of his cheek. "Your brother's the cutest, Maya."
"I'm glad you like him. Tell us about yourself Madelyn."
"Well, I'm a twenty-six year old trans woman from Miami, I am a neurosurgeon and, Dylan and I met at a park, jogging one morning." Dylan nodded happily and Maya's eyes widened. She had to be smart to be a neurosurgeon at twenty-six.
"Damn." Ryan muttered.
"Damn is correct. My girl's a genius no doubt about it. About the jog though, I was actually in a horrible mood that morning. I stared at her as she passed me before I decided I should turn around and talk to her. I honestly didn't think she'd like a guy like me. But, I turned on the charm and-"
"Completely embarrassed yourself, but I thought it was cute and genuine. So we went for coffee, and now, I can't have enough of the man." Dylan grinned and nodded.
"She isn't lying. I stuttered for about five minutes before I actually got out what I wanted to say."
"Which was just, hey."
"After that, I did good though!" Maya and Ryan laughed. It seemed like Dylan really liked the woman, which was absolutely great. He needed to settle down. Especially because Madelyn genuinely liked Dylan too.
Maya was glad she met Madelyn. She was glad she was here with her brother and her favorite girl.
