We are running, running away from the killers since they are behind and they will not hesitate to kill, just as our luck they couldn't catch up to us to kill us yet. Which I hope not.
Too many of us had died, we lost Beth, I don't know how but it's full of suspicion. But why would Jeff do that?-if he did and I hope he didn't.
My eyes are shedding tears as I run to the other side of the manor with the others. I hope I don't lose another person.
Bam!
I hear the gun fires in the distance behind, my stomach tightening in despair.
"Where are we running to?" Liam asks Jeff as he's the one leading us.
"To the safe room!" Wait a damn minute. Did he just say safe room?
"And you chose now to tell us?!" I snap at him frowning my eyebrows.
"I never thought of it earlier, I am sorry!" We turn a corner and head towards a metal door with a bullet prove glass place in the upper center.
"What is the code!"
"Um, it's 54-no 73- 73259," he runs towards it then starts punching in numbers. The door makes a sound before it cracks open.
Bang- click!
"Shit get in!" I yell and everyone dashes forward for the door while Jeff holds it open. He gets inside and slams the door shut.
If there is a safe room then there must be an emergency alert. I agile my head around then start looking around for it, it can be our only way out.
"What are you looking for-" Bang!
Bam-click-bam!
Bam-click-bam!
They are firing at the door to try getting in my eyes widen and I press my back against Liam's front while covering my mouth with my hands. Skylar is sitting on the floor with her hands over her mouth and Jeff and Jamal's eyes pierced on the door.
I look back at the door jumping with a horrid scream when one of the men pops his head at the glass looking in at us. It is so creepy and scary, and not to mention how the view looks for someone so sickening and ugly.
"Come out, come out," the other one screams in the voice box that is there making my heart jump over its beats.
"I don't like this," Skylar sobs leaning her head onto her arms that are place on top of her bent knees.
"It's okay Sky, we are going to get through this," I assure her, not even sure for myself anymore.
Bam-click-bam!
"Aaaaagh!" Skylar screams out while I jump Liam hugging me to his chest.
"Don't you want to play?!" Tears start to shed from my eyes realizing we are going to be stuck in here without any food or water.
I get from Liam's hand and walk towards the speaker while they look after me confuse but curious. I press the button and speak.
"Why are you doing this?" I ask. I hear them laugh a nasty high pitch laugh.
"Because it's fun, we want to heh heh!" I close my eyes in pain listening.
"Why us?" I managed to utter out.
"Because you guys are special, you guys are what we want, you guys are what we been looking for!" They start to laugh once again.
I step back holding my eyes at the door not knowing what I should do. I am desperate to exit this place but how?
I turn towards where I think an emergency switch should be and I found one behind Skylar peeking out, fortunately. We are saved. I rush over to her making her move confusingly. I lift my hand and smash it against the button expecting it to do its work.
I wait with a fragile smile before I slam my hand against it once again. "Why haven't it happened yet?" I ask looking at it for the flashing red light and the loud alarming sound.
"Must not be working-" Jeff starts.
"What?!" I snap, no this can't be happening.
"It hasn't been used in ages so it's out of use."
"No, this is our only way out, No-"
"Baby calm down, I guess it's not working," Liam states, and I sink to the ground completely given up.
-
Time passed and Liam is still looking outside at the psychos as they wander around waiting on us to leave the room. The rest of the group was asleep leaving Liam and me.
But my eyes were closing by the minute. I also need some rest. "Baby?"
Liam turns to look at me at the sound of my voice, he looks so stressed, and tired. His hair is hanging over his face and his eyes are red wanting to be shut. "They are still out there," he states turning back outside.
"Come lay with me," I tell him yawning.
"No, I will keep looking until they are gone," I sigh, placing my hands on the floor then laying on them.
"Okay," is the last thing I said before closing my eyes.
