Chapter 12: Fear

My hands are shaking helplessly and my eyes are filled with tears. Is he alive? Why can't I see or hear anything?

"Liam, I am scared," I whisper keeping my eyes upstairs.

"Baby we have to go-"

"Go? No! Not without him Liam, not without him. Riley?!" Why isn't-

Something appears insight so fast and unexpectedly that we did get to see it before it lands on the ground with a loud heavy tug. My eyes widen when I see it is Riley's body and his throat split, gushing with blood.

"Aaaaagh!!" I scream retreating in Liam's hand, and he was too busy looking startled and horrified to notice and catch me in time, so I trip over something heavy and land on my back. I cry out in pain when my arm was hit.

I use my elbows to get up but what I see next makes my eyes bulge even more and I scream petrified and sad.

Sam's head drops down my direction looking at me with the bullets wound piercing through her head. "Aaaaagh! Get me up! Get me up!" I yell and Liam rushes over and takes me up from the ground hugging me.

"G-guys we have to go!" Jamal yells sobbing. I nod and proceed to walk when a knife tosses inches away from piercing through my head and went through the wall instead. "Holy shit!"

We start running the way we got in at first and my brain couldn't focus so I disremember where the hidden wall was. The passage was dark and we couldn't see anything, we were so scared and occupied none of us turn on any light on their phone, mine was dead. I feet as if we reach our way out so I stop touching the wall while I hear footsteps echoing down the passage.

"Liam, anyone, give me some light!" I can hear them patting themselves for their phone and none of them couldn't seem to find it. "What the hell is taking so long?!"

"I-I can't find my phone!" I hear Liam says.

"Neither can I!"

"Skylar?" I ask, my voice sounding with hope.

"Mine is dead, sorry-"

"Fuck!" I yell trying to find the crack for the entrance. We are running out of time! Fuck Where is it? I could hear the feet of the psychos thundering down the passage and I deemed if we stay here another minute we are dead as hell. "What are we going to do!" I ask my eyes haunted by some inner anxiety. My face grows haggard with worry. Everyone is helping me look but we just can't find it.

"Fuck this!" Liam yells and lifts one of his foot and carry it back before he sends it forward bashing it to the wall and surprisingly a hole forms there. He continues sending his foot back until there was a huge hole that can take us through. I was the first to go through then Skylar Jamal and Liam.

As soon as we got out we start grabbing furniture and pushing it up against the wall. "Guys go a block the main entrance!" Skylar and Jamal run towards the way between the walls. We ended up coming through a wall six feet away. Liam and I finish blocking the broken wall and back away. I run towards the way towards the living room and Liam and I run inside seeing Jeff standing and looking down at the couch before bringing his eyes back to us.

"Where are the rest of you?" He asks and I sigh holding down my head in sadness. "Oh shit," he sighs, "add one more to the list," I frown confusingly and walk over to him and look on the couch and I gasp covering my mouth and turning my head away.

"Oh, shit," tears start to form and roll from my eyes. Beth was dead, her eyes are open along with her mouth slightly open. One of her hands is hanging from the couch while her head was staring forward movingly.

"What happened?" Liam asks then my eyes catch a cushion on the floor a couple of inches away from Jeff's hand. Holy shit.
