Y/N POV~

As you walked into work once again glad you had a day off tomorrow you smiled brightly and looked over to the nearly empty place seeing as it wasn't as busy today

But then you frowned seeing as that lessened your chances at a paycheck

You sighed and got inside the back room putting on the same apron as always, even if it was freshly washed and looked new it still made you feel stuck in a loop as you wore the same damn thing nearly every day

You watched as Tasha and Isa chatted while making coffees and teas.

"Yeah okay but he totally has to like her I mean he literally came by twice even though he got coffee spilt on him the first time,and he gave her his number the second time" Tasha was yet again on one of her shipping rampages as Isa tried to make a good argument on it

You put your hands on your hips with a smirk and thats when Tasha saw you and simply quieted before getting back to work and Isa picked up on it before looking behind himself and he jumped a bit

"Heya y/n how ya doing" he said as he went back to work with a wave

"Eh, good" you shook your head and got to work on cleaning the dishes "stayed up all night so I sortta feel tiered" you said and he rolled his eyes with a smile

The day was quiet

Uneventful

More so... Lonely

You felt a bit sad at not having a good conversation with Silas right now.

Maybe he would stop by at the end of today and order something and allow you to sit down and talk a bit.

You smiled as you cleaned up a table and watched the clock tick by

12:00 (12:00)

1:00 (13:00)

2:00 (14:00)

4:30 (16:30)

5:00 (17:00)

And even at this time of he day the bell ring making your head perk up as you heard the little bell chime

Your eyes went from the counter

To the clock

To the person who walked in the door and was now hovering over the counter like an umbrella to the rainy attitude that glumed over you

Your eyes brightened as you saw the brown haired man and his amber eyes that stared right back

"Good to see you again" he said with a laugh and you smiled right back

"And you" you said while picking up your slumped over shoulders

"I'm glad, and I was actually wondering if I could walk you home again?" He asked as he felt the weight of his words in his throat while his hands started to feel sweaty

You noticed his nervous hands, because even if his face showed no sighn of it he certainly was scared of a 'no'

You placed your hand on his as a small comfort and his hand stopped shaking

"I'm glad you offered, I'd love it if you walked me home" you said

You didn't know why but you seemed to beam around him

His presence practically lit up your dark rooms

Oh but if only you'd pay more attention

You'd notice the shadows

"Im glad to hear" he said

You locked eyes and couldn't help but keep his gaze as he looked right back

Warmer

That's how it felt as both you and him pulled in together ever so slowly like magnets

Waiting for the force of magnetism to connect your lips.

The closer your lips drew the more your face reddened at the thought

But you weren't thinking... Just doing...

Seconds away

And finally

"EHEM, I hope your willing to finish your job... If it's not to much a distraction from your personal life"

You both had come back to reality  as Nevera had interrupted adding emphasis to "personal" in her sentence to state that she wouldn't stand for your standing so close like that over the counter

You both didn't dare to loose eye contact but you backed away slowly and so did he

He coughed awkwardly but seemed to snap into place like he remembered something very important

"Well um... I get off in a few minutes if you're still up for walking back together" You said and he smiled

"Of course, I'll be waiting outside" he backed away letting his hand linger near yours for a second longer and he walked out the door to wait.

You smiled and got to work wiping tables which took no more than 5 minutes at most and went to hang up your apron and gather your stuff since Tasha and Nevera where closing that day.

The bell sung your freedom as you shut the door and looked at Silas who smiled at you and put away his phone seeming to have just gotten off a call.

He noticed your curious look and simply said "it was the boss" and you nodded satisfied with that answer

The walk was peaceful and the sky had grown slightly darker as you walked along side him

"How was your work" Silas had said to break the silence and you gave a gentle smile

"Not much to do today but it was decent" you said and he nodded

"How was your work?" You asked and he cocked his head to the side and pointed at himself as if asking if you where really talking to him

"Oh, well the boss chewed me out for missing yesterday so that was fun" he said sarcastically "but I did get my pay check so that's all that really matters"

You nodded with a smile and you both walked along until you got to your apartment.

Your hand slowly grasped the door knob waiting for some response from him maybe he would say something before you went in

Maybe he would ask to come in so you could talk a little longer...

Maybe he wouldn't leave you alone.

You smiled at the thought of talking more with him and he noticed the smile before it turned slightly sad.

"Hey" he said and you jumped up and excitedly looked at him hopefully

" Would you like to hang out, tomorrow?" He asked and you smiled brightly and nodded

"Of course" and he smiled right back

"I'll text you the details" and with that he slowly walked back and you went inside

"Oh my goodness y/n what has come over you?" You asked yourself and shook your head with a small laugh before going to make dinner and get in bed

Excited for tomorrow

The sun was bright, the birds where chirping and the alarm was silent and a decent wake up this time as you got up and dressed

You smiled brightly and stepped out the door skipping your way to the park that was made right by the forest line.

You made your way in the park that was decorated with all sorts of plants and flowers and you where peacefully walking down the path.

Then there he was

Silas was sitting peacefully on the bench and starring up into the sky.

"Silas" you said quietly as to not startle him

"Hey y/n" he said and looked over to you while standing up from the wooden bench.

He seemed strange right now and the air didn't smell quite right

Almost like iron, and dusty copper.

"Let's walk somewhere else, the air around here is strange" he said and you nodded in agreement

You both walked down the path and Silas unexpectedly slipped his hand around your shoulders making you blush

He leaned down to your ear and whispered

"Is this alright?"

You didn't trust your voice so you simply nodded yes and smiled a little happy he was so close to you despite how flustered you where

"What's your favorite part about outside?" He asked and you smiled

"I like the (favorite part)" you answers "what about you?"

He gently smiled and looked up to the sky as he zoned out

Jazz poured through the park in a faint sound as Silas sat between a bench and a trash can holding his knees to his chest while looking down at his lap

The day was warm but not hot and crisp breezes flew in and out every now and then

"Look Mama the blossoms are so pretty" a little girl said as she walked hand in hand with her mother

The mother looked at her and laughed a little before agreeing

Silas watched this event in a sad jealousy before looking back into his lap.

A small gust of wind blew by and he looked in front of him as a few leaves blew around and danced a little

It was as if they matched the beautiful jazz playing from across the street making him smile as the sweet melody seemed to get louder and someone snapped their fingers to the beat

"Silas?" You said and he seemed to snap out of it before looking at you

"Oh.. um- the wind... I like the wind" he said and you smiled softly at him

"It's great" you agreed and he smiled

He then offered an arm for you to link yours with and you blushed slightly at the gesture before linking your arm with his

"Y/N,... How would you... Like to go on a date with me?" Silas said as he watched the road ahead

You blushed madly and made and "EHH?" sound as the question caught you off guard

"B-but we just met isn't that-" you tried to say but Silas stopped walking and took both your hands in his before gently speaking

"It seems soon I know... But please, could we just- try?" He said softly as he looked at your knuckles that he soothed over with a thumb

You looked at his calm face as he watched your hands carefully before looking back into your eyes

That look

"Please?" He asked softly again making you blush

"Alright" you said

And you couldn't help the soft smile that grew on your face
