Silas pov~

Why did I have to do this again.

Rather than killing her IM TEXTING HER

In the middle of the night

What is wrong with me

Why can't I stick to the goal and kidnap her already.

Why is she so different from all the rest that I would have to keep her ALIVE.

It's not like she's important.

No one is important

Not after that day

...

"Just dump him off at the disposal where he belongs" the once kind woman said and the small brown haired boy nearly broke to pieces at her words

"You heard your mother devil, get in the truck" the man said as he tossed his only son in the bed of the truck where all the trash bags lay

He hadn't a clue what he did

But as his father started the truck and the tears rolled down his face he saw his brothers smirk while he looked at him pulling off to be dumped on the streets

...

...

Yeah

That day

Mother and father abandoned me and that prick of a brother... He was only smirking in triumph as I was tossed away.

That's not even the half of what really happened

My phone dinged and I saw the cute little smiley face that was sent to me and I smiled right back at it gently

y/n: I have work tomorrow I might have to get to bed soon

I frowned at that text but I simply smiled again when I texted right back while laying on my bed

Me: well then I hope your sleep is well, do you never get a day off

Y/n: sunday or Thursday is my usual day off, and I hope you sleep good as well ;)

Me: goodnight

After that there where no more texts and even as I knew she was probably asleep my fingers practically ached to type in a conversation starter

I looked over at my clock that read 12:37 (24:37) and frowned before standing up and walking around the house

I looked at the books that where assorted on a shelf right by the living room tv

The tv sat on a cozy white fireplace that was centered in the room to match the light grey walls and chestnut brown wooden floors

The couch was a light grey in contrast to the walls and the door frames where all a chestnut brown to match the flooring

Off to the side of the living room was another doorway that lead to the kitchen and beside that was my room

There was a basement but for now... It's best not discussed

And the master  bathroom was next to my room.

I sighed while looking at my bedroom door as if longing for sleep but then I turned around and walked away from it while sliding my shoes on and walking over to the front door to be out in the open of the slight meadow I owned

The place was still in the town however my house was surrounded by tall trees and vines that made it difficult to view

I don't like to constantly look at alley ways

It made me uneasy to travel back to those thoughts

...

"You know, people never got much done by sitting around and waiting for something to happen" the kind voice said to me

I looked up and saw an umbrella hanging over my head and a man who wore a suit and tie with his hand wrapped around the handle of the umbrella

I wasn't sure what to say as the rain had stopped pattering on my own head, my soaked through clothes and dripping hair had proven how long I was out in the rain

And to suddenly have it stop was a relief as my child eyes looked right at him I noticed his dashing looks

He had bleached white hair and a small hooped earring to go with his defined jawline.

His slight smile poked up to show devilish canines

"Hello" I said shyly as he got down on one knee to be at eye level with me and his blue eyes stared into mine

"Hello to you too" he said and his voice dripped with charm

"W-why are you helping me?" I asked

So naive

"Why wouldn't I" he asked as he patted my head and ruffled my wet hair

"T-thank you" I said shyly and he made a 'hmm' noise as a question

"Why of course" he said

That was when something in me screamed at me to run

To get away

But I never listen to myself

"You know if you would really like to thank me" he paused to move the hand on my head to use his finger and thumb lightly grabbing my chin to lift my head up and look at him as he slowly used his thumb to play with my lower lip in amusement

"There is something you can do"

...

...

I should never trust anyone

Trust is something rare on the streets that occasionally only happens when your born with them

As I stopped right infront of her apartment window I knew precisely what was wrong with this urge to not kill her

I haven't gotten enough sleep

But all I want to do is watch her as she stays in her house

I want more but it's an indescribable feeling that makes my whole body itch to figure out.

I quickly climbed a tree and looked through the window to see her sleeping form as her chest went up and down slowly and her lips mumbled something when my shadow casted over her

I watched as she slept away peacefully in the night and I watched

That night

I got no sleep

All to watch her
