Analise's POV

*11 years later*

I groaned as the noise of pots clattering reached my ears through the walls, already dreading the wreck that was waiting for me downstairs. I opened my eyes to see the bed next to me empty and face palmed myself, cursing myself in my head.

Throwing the covers off me I got out of bed. Slipping my sandals on and taking my phone, I left the room and took the stairs down to the kitchen where I knew the noise was coming from. I halted in my steps as I stood in the villa's kitchen.

It has been 11 years since our first time at the villa. Since I loved it so much, we had made it a tradition to come here at least once a year to relax and get away from our hectic lives at the kingdom. Then later, Alexander went ahead and bought the villa for us as a gift for our first wedding anniversary.

We got married 6 years after the war when everything had settled down and our lives were back on track, running smoothly. After the war, things had gotten messy with the werewolves given most of the royal family were dead and that I wanted nothing to do with being queen of them. Then the council decided to do something that was never seen before. They made the Alphas and Lunas fight for the position of king and queen. In the end, Evelyne and Axel came out victorious, making them the new king and queen of werewolves.

Alexander had proposed to me during our stay in the villa and I had cried out happiness all while laughing and feeling giddy. The feeling was surreal.

During the same year, we also held the ceremony where I was crowned queen of the Demons. During the years prior to our wedding, I still felt like I lacked enough experience to be crowned queen. I wanted to spend more time with them and get to know them. Alexander patiently waited for me to be ready.

My jaws hit the floor at the sight in front of me. I was never a neat freak like Alexander but the mess in the kitchen made that hidden part of me resurface every time. The counter was littered with egg shells, flour and bits of batter. Dirty bowls were stacked in the sink. Kitchen towels laid on the floor with batter on them. A packet of sugar that was on the counter had toppled over, spilling its content. My eyes landed on the culprit

'Culprits.' Crescent corrected me.

My hands rested on my hips as I looked at Alexander who stood behind the counter wearing simply his shorts and an apron tied around him. His black hair was disheveled with white flour coating some of his strands. The batter was smeared on his cheeks and on the apron.

In each of his arms, he was holding our two bundle of joys- Alice and Sofia.

A year after our wedding, I was pregnant and gave birth to twins- two girls. They have been the light of our life since the moment they were born. Alice was the older twin and was more similar to Alexander. She had dark hair with Alexander's blue eyes as well as his attitude. She speaks little just like him and organises her things meticulously like he does. The first impression that people had of her was that she was rude but once you got to know her, she was actually really sweet and bubbly.

On the other side, Sofia, the younger twin, was more similar to me. She had black hair with Alexander's eyes but she had my traits. Compared to her twin, she talked way more and did not care much about organising her things like me. She was always smiling, jumping around and lifting everyone's spirits with simply her smile.

Despite being different, the two were close and inseparable. Both were protective of each other and they always helped each other be it when they were sad or in the mood for pranks.

Alice's pajamas had batter on them as she held the spatula in her small hand, the batter dropping drop by drop, a huge smile on her face as she looked at her twin. Sofia giggled as she spread more batter on Alexander's face with her hands.

Wanting to capture the moment, I took out my phone and snapped a quick picture of the three before stuffing it back in my pocket and looking at the mess the little devils created with the help of the devil himself.

"What are you three doing this early in the morning?" I asked, my hands resting on my hips.

Their eyes snapped to mine, finally realising I was there. "Umm, breakfast?" Sofia said, giggling as she showed me her hands covered in batter.

I sighed. "I was making breakfast for you all as usual and they insisted on helping." Alexander clarified. Something that never changed over the past years was Alexander making me breakfast. Just like he used to do when we decided to our relationship a chance, he continued making breakfast for me no matter where we were. After the arrival of the twins, he started cooking for them too.

"I know how that story ends." I said under my breath as I rounded the counter and stood near them. I sighed again as I saw a dirty bowl lying on the floor near Alexander's feet. "Sometimes I doubt that you are the one who arranges our closet so meticulously teddy bear." I said to Alexander.

He simply shrugged as he turned his face to the side, avoiding getting more batter on him from Sofia's hands. "Let's get you two cleaned up while Dada cleans up the kitchen." I extended my hands to get Sofia, shooting Alexander a fake smile that had him scoffing.

As I took Sofia in my arms, she squeezed my cheeks in her hands, spreading batter all over me while laughing. "Sofia, sweetie you are getting batter all over me." I grabbed her hands in mine as she gave me a sheepish smile.

While I was busy removing the batter from my face and the little bits that got in my hair, I did not realise Alexander had moved behind me. I shrieked as I felt a cold liquid drop all over me.

I turned around to see Alexander and Alice behind me. Both were grinning at me as they held a bowl of batter in their hand. "Alice!" I said in disbelief at her antics but she just laughed as it dripped onto my clothes. "You will pay for this." I took some of the batter that was on me and spread it on her.

"Mommy!" She squirmed in Alexander's hands, laughing as she tried swatting my hand away.

"See." I taunted and at the same time, Sofia threw some batter on Alexander. While Alexander was still assimilating what Sofia had done, I went ahead and threw another handful of batter at him, landing on his face.

"Oh, you declared war!" He said, wiping the batter off his face. He put Alice down but his eyes remained on me and I bit back a smirk. "Cupcake why don't you stay here for a while?"

"Sweetie, stay with your sister." I put Sofia down. They both held each other's hands as they stood on the side.

"So, you ready for war?" Alexander asked, a grin on his face.

"Are you?" I asked and without any warning, I grabbed the nearest bowl which had flour in it and threw it on him before taking off in a run.

Keeping the bowl on the counter, I turned on my heels, going around the counter. "You better run." He said as he started chasing me.

I let out a laugh as I circled the counter. "You know I will catch you, right?" His playful voice rang in my ears.

"Tell me when you ca-" I did not complete my sentence as I got tackled to the floor, laughing. "Caught you." He smiled down at me as he caged me with hands on either side of me and his lower body being pressed on me, making it difficult to move.

"Don't you dare." I warned as I saw his eyes glint with amusement.

"What?" He asked innocently as his one hand reached on the counter, retrieving a bowl.

"No. Xander, don't" He did not listen as he dumped its content on me, flour getting over me. "Asshole." I muttered under my breath.

"We want to play!" I heard Sofia's excited voice and their footsteps coming closer to us as well as their laughter. They were next to me in seconds, grins on their face.

Both of them took the batter that was in the bowl that was lying on the floor before throwing it at Alexander and me. Alexander got off me before pulling me up.

"Okay. Enough playing right now." I said as I laughed. "Time to do some cleaning." I grabbed Alice's hands as I crouched next to her. Alexander did the same with Sofia next to me.

Alice giggled in my hold and I simply shook my head before wiping the batter off her face. "You two are becoming too mischievous now."

"No, we are not." Alice argued, pouting.

I heard Alexander let out a laugh. "Alright." I let go of her hand, wrapping my arms around her and giving her a kiss on her cheeks.

"Me too!" Sofia said as I felt her hands wrap around me before she began kissing me on the cheeks. Alice mirrored the actions of her twins and I laughed.

"No kisses for me?" Alexander asked as he crouched in front of us.

"This is girls only." Alice teased him.

"You wound me cupcake." Alexander replied as he placed a hand on his heart. I gave him a pointed look as he threw me a sheepish grin, knowing that the girls always fell for this.

"No dada, we love you." Both girls let go of me and wrapped their arms around him, kissing him on the cheeks.

"I love you more my little princesses." He said and I could not help but smile at the sight of the three.

He extended his hand, pulling me into the hug too. "I love you little wolf." He said lowly.

"I love you too teddy bear." I pecked his lips quickly, feeling the familiar sense of home in his arms along with our daughters.

I hoped grandmother would be proud of us and she could see her little grandkids from wherever she was.
