(I feel like I Am dragging this story so I m going to do time skips a lot )

Y/n PoV :

A year later :

I have finished my second year too successfully. This time also I ranked second . Sometimes I see taehyung and Emily . Seeing both of them together it hurts . But I accepted the reality . He is not mine . He will never be mine .

My classmates and other students from our university planned on a trip . It's a 3 day trip , a normal holiday trip since we got vacation holidays . I didn't wanted to go but leyda insisted that I should join her .

Time skip ;

The trip was to a nearby hill station . We all arrived at the college and a bus was already waiting for us . Not much people paid for the trip . Only 40-50 students joined for the trip . So we got two busses .

Me and leyda sat in the last seats .

I am so excited for this trip . This is the first time we both are going on a trip .

Leyda said smiling excitedly . I was also kinda excited because I never went on a trip with friends . This is my first time too . Of course I went on a school trips before but they were only one day trips . So it doesn't count much .

The bus was filled almost . I looked at people getting on the bus and my heart stopped when I saw taehyung getting on the bus with Emily . When taehyung's eyes landed on me his gaze changed . He was irritated just by seeing me .

I told myself that I shouldn't be hurt by his behaviour. His feelings shouldn't matter to me .

Time skip ;

We finally reached the destination . The whole ride Emily was so clingy on taehyung and he didn't resist it . They were sitting ahead of us and whenever I see front I could get a glimpse of them . Of course it hurt me . But I was strong . Even though it hurts I will take the pain , I won't break , I will still stand steadily .

There were beautiful small cottages for us . There were so many cottages . There were 4 beds and 2 beds rooms . Me and leyda chose a 2 bed room because we didn't wanted to share with others . We both are comfortable with each other . I saw that Emily and taehyung were in one room . So many wrong thoughts arrived in my mind but I scolded myself .

I am here to enjoy my time . Not to sulk over them . So I will enjoy it .

We didn't had a tour guide because there were few students who were already familiar with this place . They said that it's waste of money to the tour guide and they can guide us . We all had our lunch .

We came to the rooms and laid ourselves on the beds talking about random things then we heard our door knock . We went outside and saw all the students gathering .

Guys since we have a plenty of time why don't we play a game .

Yayyyyyy.

All the students jumped in excitement.

We will also get to know each other .

What is the game ?

We will be divided into teams and you will be given hints . With the help of those hints you should reach the destination. As soon as you reach the destination you should take a pic of yourself in that view and share it in the group so that we will know who reached first .

Wow . Amazing .

Let's start now .

We didn't get our choice to chose the teams . We were divided into 7 teams with 7 in each team . Sadly me and leyda didn't get in one team . Only one of my classmate was in my team and others were from other departments whom I didn't know . Shockingly taehyung was in the same team .

I groaned to myself inwardly when I saw that me and taehyung are in the same team . Can this game get any better ??????

We soon started our game and with the help of the clues we reached woods . There were hidden clues in the woods and we have to find them . I didn't talk to anyone in my group . I just followed them being behind them . I am very awkward with strangers . So I couldn't see myself mingling with them . They were all so busy solving the clues so I was fine with them not paying any attention to me .

Taehyung on the other hand was also silent . He would occasionally help them with solving the clues . As usual he doesn't open his mouth unless it's needed .

I looked up and it was beautiful view to see . There were tall trees and the sunlight was illuminating through them making it look aesthetic . There were birds flying around . Thank god this is tourist place . Otherwise there would have been dangerous animals here .

I took my phone out and took the pictures of the scenery . I walked through the beautiful path and found myself in the way of grass and few trees . I was so lost in the view that I didn't realise I lost the track with my team.

Oh shit !!!!!

I tried to go back the way I came but I didn't find anyone . I took my phone out and there was no proper signal so I couldn't call anyone for help . I walked through few miles but found none . I started feeling anxious . How will I get back ?

My legs were hurting a lot so I sat down and rested my back behind the tree . I just prayed that someone will realise my absence and come for me .

I took my phone to check the time and it was almost 4 in the evening . There is still so much time for the sun to set . I hope I will get back soon .

After a while I again walked and it was hard for me to reach anywhere . Surrounded me were only trees . I couldn't see any hope to find the way back .

My legs gave up and I was feeling very thirsty . The water bottle I bought with me is empty now .

Someone please find me . God please send someone .

I repeated that prayer in my mind continuously and like god has listened to me I head footsteps behind me . I turned around and saw taehyung resting his hands on his knees and panting heavily . He was so sweaty as if he just worked out . My heart stopped seeing him here .

God sent taehyung to rescue me !!!!!!

I was so relieved and happy that finally someone found me and that someone is taehyung. At first I saw a relief look in taehyung's eyes but soon it faded away replacing it with a deadly glare . After his breathing became normal he turned around and started walking . He didn't say anything just walked silently . I took this as my cue and followed him .

When I saw him I felt so happy that I wanted to hug him because I can get out of this place . But again he hates me so I restrained myself from doing so .

Leyda'a PoV :

My team won the game and we were so happy . Soon I saw taehyung's team also coming up here but they were second which meant they lost . But I didn't see y/n . I think y/n will be here soon because she always walks slowly . Stupid girl . It's been 5 minutes and I still can't find her.

Taehyung where is y/n ?

I went to taehyung and he shrugged his shoulders .

Isn't she with you guys ?

Taehyung looked around .

Where is she ?

He asked that I looked at him in disbelief.

Exactly I am asking you the same question, where is she ?

Oh god , did she get lost ?

I was on the verge of crying . I can't lose my best friend . Where the hell is that dumb girl ? We all divided into groups and went in search for her . But before we even decided the groups taehyung already ran down the path to find her .

We got a text in the group from taehyung that he has found y/n . So we all came to our cottages place . Others went to rest while I waited outside for y/n . After a while I saw two people walking towards the cottages . It was y/n and taehyung. I ran to her and hugged her .

You scared the sh*t out of me .

I whispered while y/n also hugged me back . She broke the hug when she saw taehyung was walking away from us . She called his name immediately. He didn't turn back but he halted on his steps .

Thank you .

Y/n whispered loud enough for him to hear it . But he didn't turn back and gave any reply . He continued his steps and went to his cottage .

Y/n PoV :

I was so thankful for taehyung. I don't know why he even came to help me but that flattered my heart . It's the first time in these years that taehyung has done something for me . And I couldn't stop thinking about him . Leyda gave me enough lecture not to get lost again .

Stop thinking about him y/n . Don't get any hopes . Just because he helped you it doesn't mean something . Remember his rude behaviour and his feelings towards you .

Leyda spoke bringing me back to the reality .

Next day ;

Today we planned to just explore this tourist spot and enjoy ourselves . We had our lunch too . But I didn't see taehyung. I saw Emily but I didn't see taehyung. Even during yesterday's night dinner I didn't see him . He didn't even come out for breakfast .

What's wrong with him ?

There was small exhibition running on which was just 30 min away from where we stay . Everyone decided to go there . But something inside me said that there's something wrong with taehyung. I just didn't feel it right .

Come on get ready let's go .

I debated whether I should check on him or not . I was feeling very concerned about him . So I went out and saw Emily .

Uhm h-hey .

Oh hi .

She greeted me back and she wasn't sassy or rude at all . She was nice .

Can I know where is taehyung? I didn't see him since yesterday.

Taehyung ? He is in the room . He got sick . So he is taking rest .

Sick ?????????? My eyes widened hearing that . He was fine till yesterday . What happened to him suddenly ? Was it because of me ? He worked so many miles in search for me . He looked so tired when he walked me back to the cottages .

I felt so guilty . If it wasn't for me he would be fine . I wasn't 100% sure if it's because of me but still I am feeling guilty and bad .

How is he now ?

I gave him medicines . He is taking rest and he will be fine don't worry y/n .

I was shocked hearing my name from her mouth . I never said her my name .

How do you know my name ?

She looked shocked when I asked her this question .

Uh-huh we are in the same university y/n so I came to know like that .

Her answer wasn't convincing because I am not at all popular in my college . But still I shrugged it off because right now at this moment my main concern was taehyung .

Okay bye . I will go now . I want to visit that exhibition.

She said and joined the group who were leaving .

Come on y/n .

Leyda came to me while I was looking at taehyung's direction .

Leyda I don't feel good . Because of yesterday I am so tired and I can't walk anymore . I want to take rest .

Should I stay back ?

No leyda . You go and enjoy yourself . I will be fine after taking some rest .

Okay .

I made sure there was no one in sight . I slowly took steps towards taehyung room . I knocked on his door but no response . I bit my lower lip and hesitantly opened the door biting my lower lip in anxious . I don't want to take any wrong step and make taehyung hate me more .

I saw taehyung lying on the bed with the blanket on him . He was shivering . His face looked pale . My heart shrunk seeing him like this . I went to him and touched his forehead . It was burning . He got fever . I went to my room and came back with a bowl of water and a cloth . I wet the cloth and kept on his forehead .

Please get well soon .

I prayed and sat down beside him . Other people won't be back till evening . I can take care of him till then . I hope he gets well . I looked at his sleeping figure sleeping so peacefully. I resisted the urge to touch his hair . I love his hair . It's so soft and cuddly . I m sure he won't like it if I touch him that's why I didn't .

But my eyes widened and my heart stopped beating when I saw a watch on taehyung's wrist . It's the same watch that I gifted him on the graduation day 2 yrs back .

I was bewildered to see it . I though he throwed away my gift . But what is it doing on his wrist ?
