I watched as Saira muttered some incoherent curses on me being careless.

I could see that she was restless and concerned.

My jaws clenched when I thought of Advay.

I couldn't help but feel betrayed. I thought he could understand me but I guess I was wrong.

There were parts I understood his concern and I wouldn't have minded the bruise but when he tried to claim something off limits for him,I couldn't help but feel enraged.

I slightly massaged my temples to relieve the stress but it didn't work.

My mind went back to the previous events :

Me and Advay walked outside the cafe to go towards the beach.

I instantly asked him,"What's up with you dude?"

He gave me a blank look and said,"What are you talking about?"

I tilted my head a bit to look at him and asked,"You think I won't understand that you were trying to taunt."

He barked a humourless laugh and said,"What can we say of storms dude?What I said was true."

I frowned,before asking,"I would appreciate if you would stop flirting with my wife."

He laughed a bit too loud,a fake laugh before saying,"Wife?"

We had walked only some distance when I saw him in some sort of internal conflict.

I was about to ask him what had him so concerned.

But next I knew,he punched me right aimed on my jaws but ended being hurt on lips.

I bit of blood oozed out.

I watched as he took another aim.This time,I was alert.

I dodged his aim and caught his arm before I let him fall on ground before preventing him from getting up.

He was getting aggressive and tried to attack me once again.

I asked,"What is wrong with you!"

This time he flings himself and hits me with his elbow and I end up tumbling down on ground.

He shouts,a fierce look in his eyes,"How could you?How could you ruin Saira's life!Contract marriage?Really?"

I was not only numb with pain of falling but I was silent when he asked me.

How did he know!

Before I could defend,he flung another punch at my jaw. Again I dodged.

I spoke,"Let's talk about it in Mumbai."

He again tried to attack me.

He shouted,"She will never like you back again!I will tell her of what you have done!"

I wanted to laugh at his threat.

It takes two to tango.

I spoke,"She signed it."

His eyes widened before he realised his stupidity.

He suddenly says,with a smirk,"She will never like you."

Wow! I feel like laughing.

So I do.

He watches me laugh and his smirk falters.

I laugh and say,"She likes me."

He watches me and looks at me disgusted before saying,"And still you continue to play this game of hurting her?"

I feel anger burst in me as I say,"What do you mean?"

He again laughs a taunting one as he speaks,"You enjoy when people are in pain."

He calls me a sadist?

I take a deep breath and ask,"Really?Why don't you give me examples?"

He looks at me and says,"You drove your mom away.You drove Naina away.Shall I say more?"

My heart clenches at my mother's mention.

I suddenly feel betrayed.I shared with him my grief at my toughest time.And he ? He decides to use it now?

I wanted to shout at him that it wasn't I who drove my mom away!It was my dad.

I wanted to shout that it wasn't me who drove Naina away.It was our loveless relation.

But I knew it was no use.

So I said,"Nah dude.You need to give me more examples."

He shook his head and I knew I had won half the battle.

I started to walk away when I heard his stupid voice again as he said,"Saira can only like you.It will be me who she will love.I will be her Prince Charming."

Why is he so exasperating?

I had to again turn and looked at him.

He looked smug and satisfied with his answer.

Deep down though I knew he was the guy who sent her voicemail. That desperation was clear.

Suddenly,I felt pity for the guy who stared back at me.He was my bestfriend who deeply cared for a girl.

But then Prince Charming?

I laughed and said,"For someone who claims to be in love,you are pretty idiot.You should know that Saira doesn't need a freaking Prince Charming to save the day.She is a Queen who carves her own way.And please,if anything she is Lady in shining armour."

He rolled his eyes and Said,"Once I get my hands on contract,I will destroy you for destroying her."

It was then I realised he didn't have the contract.

I laughed at this.

He looked shocked and was unable to reply before he had this menacing grin and said,"What if I told I was her first kiss?"

Is this guy idiot? He wants to make me feel jealous of him?

I was tired of turning again and again.

So I punched him again on his nose.

I was pretty sure that even Saira hasn't read the whole contract.She was pretty much zoned out or else..

I snickered at the thought.

It's safe to say so that I haven't really regretted breaking noses.

First time I had broken a nose when a guy was passing an eveteasing comment and second was this time.

I did have a stupid grin when Saira looked suspiciously and asked,"Why are you grinning?"

I looked at her and spoke," Nothing."

She shook her head and I decided to speak,"Actually,I am excited."

She looked at me and asked,"Really?For what?"

I smiled and said,"For My real girlfriend."

Suddenly she was frowning.

What? Wasn't she glad?

She turned away from me and said,"Naina is returning?"

Huh?

I suddenly realised.She thought I was talking of Naina.

I started laughing before I winced hard.

I got up and enclosed her petite body by draping my arms around her.

I could hear her breath hitch at the proximity.

I rested my face at her shoulders before saying,"I actually did forget something."

She took some deep breaths before she said sarcastically,"Maybe Divorce?"

Divorce?

She really has no idea what I am going to do.
