Saira waited eagerly for Aarav.Afterall,it was time for pagphera Ritual. As soon as she caught him coming out of his car,she happily yelled,"Bhai!" Aarav looked up and waved at her.He cracked a smile looking at her.

Mrs Malhotra glared at Saira and spoke,"Don't you have manners?Did you forget that you are newly wed?"

Saira narrowed her eyes at Mrs Malhotra before speaking with a sly smile,"Mummyji!Don't you have emotions?Did you forget I am meeting my brother after marriage for pagphera?"

Mrs Malhotra rolled her eyes and went away from there muttering,"Kids these days!"

Saira shaked her head and went to open the door.

Before Aarav could knock,Saira opened the doors and instantly attacked him with a hug.

Aarav was a bit shocked before recovering and hugging her back.

He kissed her forehead before dramatically saying,"When did my little sister who begged for chocolates grew up to be a newly wed?"

Saira narrowed her eyes before hitting him on his arm.He winced at her action.

Saira stuck her tongue out teasingly before speaking,"I never begged for chocolates.It was my right to take chocolates from you!"

Aarav shaked his head before asking,"Where is your sweet hubby?"

Saira huffed up at his name.The morning memory was still intact.She spoke furiously,"Probably making jokes."

Aarav started laughing and spoke,"Jokes?And Your husband?Are you serious?"

Saira said,"I am serious!Can you believe that he water sprayed at me while I was sleeping!!!And that too cold water!He is is ruthless!CAN YOU SERIOUSLY BELIEVE THAT NIKHIL FREAKING MALHOTRA DID THAT?THAT ARROGANT MAN!AND HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL ME A SILLY WOMAN!"

Aarav cracked up more and took out his phone as if messaging someone.

Saira looked sceptically at Aarav before asking,"Who are you messaging?"

Aarav looked up at her with his eyes twinkling with mischief,"Shyla!And look she has replied about your incident."

Saira thanked god that Atleast Shyla will have some sympathies unlike her ruthless brother.

Until she saw the message:

From:Shyla the goose .....<

Thanks!

Love you and your idiot brother!

Seriously but tell him to tell me that!I need it!

No I mean I am okay?

Oh well.

I think I am.

Saira smiled at Shyla's attempt to make her feel that she is okay.

Saira looked over Aarav who was looking at her with his eyes mirroring sadness.

He asked me,"She is not okay.Isn't she?"

Saira nodded and he shook his head with sadness.

Aarav drove silently before Saira spoke,"Go with her!She needs you right now!"

Aarav stopped his car and Saira looked that she had indeed reached her home.

Aarav seemed to contemplate when finally Saira smacked his head and replied,"Go Aarav!I swear if you don't go,I will personally tell Shyla that you named her Goose in your phone and you burned her favourite top and you lost her favourite lipstick and...."

Aarav covered her mouth and spoke in a hurried voice,"Hush!I am going!But don't you dare tell her any of this!"

Saira nodded and looked at him as he hurried back to his car and drove to her way.

Saira watched his car till he disappeared.

Finally she turned to the house standing at front of her.

Nothing had changed.The house still looked like it was one day back.She could still see some of the decoration sprawled at the side of parking lot,men were taking back their rentals,some were summing up the whole account of what had been spent and how much was paid and amount left to be paid!

She awkwardly walked towards the door of her house as she swiftly wrapped up her sweater to protect herself from cool wind.It had been just a day when she had left her house but the lonely feeling had lately been eating her from the day her wedding was preponed from six months to three days!

She couldn't understand why her parents had become aloof so suddenly.She could understand their anger but she never knew they would do this to her!

But then again,She couldn't really blame them!

They thought that she was in love with Nikhil.

Oh!When lies backfire at you!

She thought sadly.

She looked around and saw everyone was busy with their work.She finally gained some courage and rang the bell.

She could hear some shuffling and after few minutes,the door was open.

She awaited with a smile on her face.

I will mend all my ties with them today!She thought optimistically.

But her smile fell on seeing the maid.

She looked around the house before speaking,"Where is ma and pa?"

The maid gave a sad smile before saying,"They left."

Saira's mood was soon deteriorated before she asked,"Where?"

Maid gave her a letter.

She read it :

Dear Saira,

I am sorry.There is some deal emergency.Aarav does not know it.We are going for confirming the deal.

Do not tell Aarav about this,as apparently he is not capable to solving this deal.I hope you understand.

Shagun has been kept for your ritual.If you want you can call me,though we will be busy.

Bye.

Take care.

Don't forget that you are an independent strong woman.

Mom.

Saira blinked back her tears.What had happened to her parents?What deal couldn't wait for their daughter's ritual?When had they started thinking Aarav as incapable?

She crushed the letter in her hands as maid watched Saira sadly.

Saira did not think twice before she started running out of the house and ran to the same garden where she and Nikhil had met.

She cried profusely as she couldn't understand what was happening to her life?

Firstly,her fake marriage which was contracted,then her parents behaving like this and later facing the in laws!

Seriously!My life is goals!Perfect goal!

She kept looking everywhere blankly until a little boy who looked totally adorable came up to Saira.

Saira looked at him as he tugged at her legs,gave her a flower,a note,smiled adorably and showing his two teeth before running off to direction.

Saira looked totally confused before she opened the note attached to the flower.

"Smile!Sadness is not made for you!

Oh and by the way!Your nose is leaking some mucous which makes you look like a leaky girl :P

-You know me yet you don't know me!"

It brought a smile at Saira's face.The note was weird but still.

She didn't know who sent it but she was in a better mood.

Suddenly her phone vibrated and she looked over as Nikhil was sending her message:

U r the most beautiful girl!

U r the most calm girl!

U r so intelligent!

.....

...

Fine!I was asking help!

Help Asap!

Plz help Saira!

ASAP?!!!!!!!!

My secretary is trying to seduce me from morning!!!!!!!

Saira smirked as she took her phone!This message had definitely lifted her mood from 10 to 100 real quick.

She messaged him as she laughed at Nikhil's arrogant facade had slowly come down to now being helpless.

Fine.

Arrive in 5 min.

And she hailed a cab to go to Malhotra's Company!
