Inspiration

I’m frozen in quicksand,

No matter how hard I pull,

I don’t budge,

All I need is one tug,

To get pulled out,

Out of this ditch,

I find myself in.

One huge burst of inspiration,

Is all I need,

One spark of a light bulb,

To kick start my mind,

To give it that push,

To jolt my brain,

Give it a good shake up.

For something to surprise me,

Something in everyday life,

Something I see,

While walking past,

That will inspire me,

Something simple,

Or something grand.
