Chapter 12

After the cruelest surgery in her life, Salina falls asleep deeply.

Her sleeping doesn't sound like peace, while she screams a lot among her sleep. Many terrible dreams come to her, then she wakes up from a strike.

“Aghhh...”

“Salina, are you okay? Finally you woke up! You have slept for two or three days...” Luc asks carefully and stays nearby, his face gets bruises after the bullying.

“I’m sorry, I made you suffer again.” She apologizes.

Luc smiles and shakes his head, “No worry, Salina, I’m fine, that’s small thing compare to yours.” He grabs her hands, “Let’s go, go with me! I will bring you out for good treatment!”

Thinking of Fabian’s words, she shakes her head, he would do as he warned. He would put all Luc’s family in hell if she dares to run away...

“No! Please don’t come to me again! I told you I didn't love you at all! I only love Fabian... You will put me in another trouble if you come to me later.

So please leave, Luc!” She explains without looking at him. His hands lose and let go slowly, “Please forgive me, Salina, I’m sorry.” Luc says quietly. “Please take good care of yourself...”

He turns and leaves, she opens her eyes, full of tears.

Such a good man, but she doesn't deserve him. She would spend all her life to pay him back, if she ever has a chance to live later, thinks Salina.

Three days after, she moves back to her house, Fabian is busy with his wedding with Becky, so he’s not home. At the same time, her disease gets worse day by day...

She reads the newspaper one day, and her nosebleeds, making the paper in red. She reaches the tissue box and passes out... She scares the maids at home, they put her on the sofa and wait like ten minutes, she wakes up.

“Oh my gosh, Miss, finally you wake up! You scared us to death! Let’s go to the hospital!” Her maid says.

“I’m fine, no need...” She walks up to clean herself at the bathroom, feeling exhausted. She would like to go making one more time seven days procedure, to extend her life one more month, while, Fabian took her phone and gave her a curfew. She’s like a prisoner at home.

She laughs her suck life then walks out.

“Salina! Where is she? I need to see her!” A middle-aged woman’s voice runs by from outside, sounds like Luc’s mom. She runs downstairs fast.
