My Lord, My Billionaire Master1,636 words~9 min read

- Chat with the door in between Alice sat down by the door and smiled: "William, don't you think it's romantic like this? We didn't talk in the candlelight."

Romantic?

She liked it?

William reached out his hand to catch the candle, lighting it on the stairs above.

Candles lit up the entire corridor.

Alice sat on the dark staircase, leaning against the door. She lowered her eyes to look at the empty bowl, "Does my soup taste good?"

"Everything you make is delicious."

William sat down on the floor. The hallway was rather narrow, so he could only curl his legs.

Alice sat like him and looked at the candle flame on the ground, "I wonder if Miss Sue can steal the key."

"That's what you like to do." William stared at the door in dissatisfaction, "Just crack this damn lock and let the lawyer sue this old woman!"

How dare she imprison him?

"Do you have a sense of accomplishment in suing an old lady?" Alice said.

"Yes!"

William answered righteously, but suddenly he changed his tone and looked at her with a concerned expression, "Are you cold? Go back and get a coat and put it on. Forget it, you should go back to your room to rest. You don't need to stay here with me!"

He couldn't bear for her to sit here and catch a cold.

"It's I don't feel cold." Alice had no intention to return as she sat there and waited quietly.

"Give me your hand!"

William said.

Alice obediently extended her hand to the hollow door, then William wrapped his palm around her hand, gently caressing her finger.

The candle flame flickered, and Alice's index finger slightly moved as she scratched him. His ugly face finally revealed a smile, "Don't move."

"Oh."

William held her hand tightly, and suddenly felt it was not that tormenting.

Alice looked back. Sue still had not come back, so she frowned, afraid that William would be impatient from waiting. Hence, she decided to find a topic to talk about.

"Oh right, William, how do we get closer to the Borg Family later? Sneaking through the forest?" Alice asked.

William raised his eyebrows, "Who said we are going to the Borg Family?"

"Didn't we agree to go tonight?"

Alice was startled. They had already reached the island, and it was already late at night. If they didn't look for the Mr Palace now, then when it would be?

"That's what you said, so I didn't plan to go to Borg Family." William covered Alice's hand and warmed it for her.

"Why?" Alice asked puzzledly, "Aren't we here to look for Mr Palace?"

"Who said we're looking for the Mr Palace? I'm only here to take you on your honeymoon."

Alice stared at him in a daze, completely unable to comprehend what William was thinking.

Were they not going to look for Mr Palace?

"Is it still cold?" William asked.

"William, don't keep us in suspense. What are you thinking?" Alice asked in puzzlement. William was only concerned with warming her hands and did not say a word.

Seeing him act this way, Alice decided to retract her hand. Instantly, William's hands became empty and he looked at her in dissatisfaction, "Since we're not going out tonight, there's no need to steal the key to open the door, right?" "It's necessary."

"Why?"

"You should sleep with me! How could honeymoon couple sleep separately?" Alice was speechless. As she stood up and prepared to leave, William's voice came from behind her, "Alright, alright, sit down. I'll tell you."

Hearing this, Alice laughed out loud, and sat back obediently and pretended to listen to a story, "Speak, I knew you have ideas, why don't you go to Borg Family?"

"I'm waiting for someone."

"Waiting for who?" Alice continued to ask.

"Wait for the man who led us to the island." William pursed his lips, "All the clues are now leading us to the Borg Family. I won't go, let's see how long that person can hide."

"Who is it?"

Alice asked puzzledly. Who was guiding them, and for what? She didn't understand anything. Could it be that they were being led away by someone else?

"Just wait a few more days, whoever is in a hurry to show himself will be the culprit." William said.

"You don't know who it is?"

Alice asked.

"I can guess." William smiled proudly.

"Then why don't you go directly to that person? " Alice asked in a daze. William chuckled, "Firstly, I brought you here for your honeymoon."

"Secondly, I like to go against the rules. I'll make that person die of anxiety!"

"..." Alice looked at William's devilish appearance and thought to herself. She shook her head and said, "The person who led us to the island must not be a bad person, right?"

Hearing that, William stretched out his hand to pinch her chin, "Why is my woman so smart? Tell me, how did you guess it?"

Was there even a need to guess?

She said, "You just said you wanted to make that person anxious to death. If that person was someone you don't like, you must be saying that you want to kill that person."

However, he only said that he wanted that person to die of anxiety, without any intention to attack. This meant that that person definitely wasn't a bad person.

"Too smart!"

William pinched her chin again.

"He should be someone close to us, right?" Alice said. Who could it be? There were so many people around them, who would dare to do such a thing?

"You're so smart I want to kick the door and take you to bed right now!" William said proudly, as if Alice had impressively answered a question.

Alice didn't want to chat with him anymore.

She turned her head to look at the dim light, picked up a candle from the stairs and said, "Miss Sue hasn't come back for so long, I'll go take a look."

"You're not allowed to go!"

William reached out and grabbed her wrist, preventing her from leaving.

'Tm just going to take a look."

"I want to take a few look of you!"

Alice helplessly looked at him, wanting to leave but unable to do so. As she was thinking, her gaze swept across the dark wooden board beneath her, and was stunned, "William, there are words."

William followed her.

There were two rows of small words carved on the floor using a small knife. "Take a look at what was written."

Alice took the candle over and slowly said, "I love you. Me too. It should have been carved by a couple who stayed here."

It was a very simple love sentence.

No complexity.

However, they should also be like her and William, snuggling together and then they used their knives to carve on the stairs. "This imprint has already become much smoother, it looks like it was carved by someone a long, long time ago."

Some of the marks had been lost.

"Did they get separated by the gate by the old woman?" William gave a cold snort, "No wonder that old woman is still alone now, she got sick just by herself!"

What a harsh sentence.

Alice raised her eyes to look at William, he said, "This couple is also sick, do they really need to carve such simple words on the floor?"

The whole world was sick!

II II Alice put the candle back, and heard William say: "Isn't that sentence written in two rows, what's written in the next row?"

Alice cast a sidelong glance at it and said, "It's a name. It should be the name of the person who inscribed this sentence."

She laughed.

"What are you laughing at?"

"The names of these two people are quite interesting. One is called Tree, the other is Ocean." Alice said.

"Tree and Ocean? Disgusting!"

William retorted mercilessly.

While they were conversing, Sue slowly walked up and squatted beside Alice. She took out the key and handed it to Alice.

"Thank you." Alice said gratefully, and used the key to open the door, releasing the beast that had been stuck for a long time.

The door opened, and William immediately stood up and stretched his body. He frowned and pulled Alice's hands, "Come, let's go to sleep!"

Sue looked at them dumbfoundedly.

Uh, opening the door was just to make it easier for them to enter the room together?

Didn't they say that there were important matters?

Alice was dragged by William, and she couldn't help but say, "William."

"What?"

William turned his head and glanced at her.

"William, if the person who is leading us to the island is really someone close to us, and if you really know who they are, why don't we go and ask him what he wanted? We may help him."

"I only picked a few candidates, but I've already confirmed it just now." William stared at her, "Are you sure you want to help?"

If she wanted to help, he would.

"Yes."

Alice nodded.

Since they were close to them, they definitely didn't do it to harm them. They definitely wanted them to help.

It's no big deal.

William lowered his eyes and looked at her twice, and in the end, he made a decision, "Alright, then let's go back!"

"Go back?"

Where?

Before Alice could react, she was pulled down by William. Alice could only follow him, and Sue, who had a blank look on her face also followed.

The three left and returned to the yacht.

Once William got on, he immediately sat on the sofa. It was still as comfortable as always on the yacht. Alice and Sue stood at the side and looked at each other.
