"Have you decided?"

She asked.

"Yes." David nodded his head, he looked at her and revealed a smile, "Alice, you are a good girl, please make William happy, don't hurt him again."

Alice nodded her head, she would definitely work hard to achieve this.

"When are you leaving?"

Alice asked again.

"The day after tomorrow."

"So soon?" Your injuries have not yet healed." Alice could not help but say, but David laughed, "This kind of injury is nothing, there's really no need to continue staying here."

Alice looked the smile on his face quietly, it was a smile filled with bitterness.

"Then" Alice paused, "What about mother? You don't want to visit her?"

"Alice, when I go back, I won't be able to leave anymore." David looked at her and said, "You are not me, you don't know what kind of environment I have lived in since I was young, you don't know what that means to me." "Alright, I understand. Then rest well, I'll go."

She turned around slowly.

"Alice."

David called out to her.

Alice turned her head to look at him. David stared at her, wanting to say something but hesitating, "Forget it."

Alice met his gaze, "Hmm, Goodbye."

She left.

Walking out of the hospital, Daniel and the bodyguards stood there, upon seeing Alice coming over, Daniel imm William sitting inside.

ately So it turned out that he hadn't left yet.

ened the car door for her, and Alice saw Alice walked over and sat in the car, the first thing she did was to check on the injuries on William's hand: "Is it still painful?"

"Did I look bad just now?"

William stared at her and asked, his expression was awkward.

"No, president William is always handsome." Alice smiled and held his hand, "Since you forgave your brother, why didn't you have a good chat with him?"

"Who said I forgave him?"

William said coldly.

"Why?" Alice said, "Everyone can see that you have forgiven him."

"No."

William turned and looked out the window.

"He's leaving. He'll never come back."

Alice said. Right after she finished her words, her hand was immediately grabbed tightly by William. She looked at William and said, "He'll leave the day after tomorrow, why don't you think about it, don't leave yourself any regrets."

William looked out of the window, completely unmoved.

Once he returned to Cullen Family, William was in a rare daze. He stood in front of the window for two hours, not even hearing Alice's call.

Should he stay, send him off, or turn a blind eye?

Alice stared at his figure, wondering what kind of decision he would make. Based on her understanding, William would probably choose to send him off.

This was own decisio No matter what choice he made, she would silently accompany him.

Alice looked at William who was standing in front of the window, then silently retreated, closed the door, and gave him space to think.

They came to England to have their wedding, but it was not successful, and things happened one after another.

As Alice walked along the corridor, she started to miss her life at home country.

To her, she did not have any sense of belonging in this huge castle. Here, everything was depressing.

Alice walked into the kitchen and was about to make some dessert to ease William's mood, but when she entered, she saw two maids holding a soup cup and walking towards her, sighing.

Seeing them acting this way, Alice asked, "Mother didn't drink it again?"

"Yes, every time we bring something to Madam, she lets us take it out." The maid nodded. "Second Young Master brought it to Madam previously and she drank it, we don't dare to bother Second Young Master."

She didn't drink the medicinal soup, how could she be healthy?

Alice frowned. At this time, William was also annoyed, so it was not good to disturb him. In the entire Cullen Family, other than William, there was only one other person who could advise Elizabeth to drink the soup.

After thinking about it, Alice resolutely turned around and left.

She went upstairs.

Two bodyguards stood by a door.

That was Master Cullen's study room. He always worked there.

Alice stood there and clenched her teeth, after taking a deep breath, she walked forward and two bodyguards stopped her. She expressionlessly lowered their head to her and asked, "Young Madam, is there anything I can help you with?"

"I want to see my father to talk about my mother."

Alice said while standing there.

"I'm going in to report."

The bodyguard said as he knocked at the door and walking in.

As she was waiting at the door, Alice inexplicably felt uneasy. She remembered that she had always heard of Master Cullen, but she had never personally met him.

He was just like a legend. Alice knew that he was a noble with a title, a hybrid of China and England who had once met with misfortune, but in his hands, the Cullen Family's reputation was growing with each passing day. He treated his sons seriously, ignoring everything else to stop William and her.

She knew so much, but she had never seen him.

After arriving at the Cullen Family, Alice had wanted to pay an official visit to Master Cullen several times but was rejected by him due to being busy. She thought that Master Cullen looked down on her, so she gave up.

Alice was anxious while waiting.

After a long while, the door opened from inside and the bodyguard walked out and spoke to Alice. "Please come in."

"Thank you."

Alice nodded, she raised her leg and walked forward, and could not help but take a deep breath.

As soon as she entered the room, a feeling of oppression she had never felt before engulfed her.

Alice remembered the movies about the old castles.

She walked in and slowly raised her head.

This was an extremely large study room, and the books were even richer than William's study room.

It was like incense.

However, it was not very fragrant. It was just that the odour was very strong.

Alice looked forward, only to see a man standing in front of a bookshelf with his back to her.

The sun was shining.

When Alice saw his curly hair, she immediately lowered her head and said, "Father."

"What do you want to talk to me about?"

Master Cullen stood in front of the bookshelf and coldly said. That voice was indescribable.

It was unknown if it was because of the incense or Master Cullen's voice, Alice felt that she couldn't breathe.

She stood there, trying her best to sound calm, "Mother's health isn't very good and she doesn't want to drink those medicinal soups. I would like to ask Father to take some time out from his busy schedule to accompany Mother."

Alice did not know whether or not Master Cullen would usually accompany Elizabeth as she had not seen him even once.

"Understood, you may leave."

Master Cullen said coldly.

Just like that?

"Alright, Father."

She thought that since Master Cullen had been dissatisfied with her for a long time, he would at least scold her a few times. Alice rolled her eyes.

With a 'bam' sound, all of the books on the shelves fell to the ground.

Alice looked over in shock. She did not think much as she walked over, bent down and knelt beside Master Cullen to help him pick up the book.

"Who let you pick it up? Get out!"

An angry voice boomed above her.

Had he finally found the chance to scold her? If Master Cullen did not reprimand her, she would feel that it was abnormal.

"I'll return them to you."

Alice squatted on the floor and handed the book over to Master Cullen. Her fingers inadvertently slid across his wrist and touched the watch on it.

She was stunned as she looked at the watch. There seemed to be some moisture on it and time had stopped.

"What are you looking at? A commoner really doesn't know about etiquette. Get the hell out of here!"

Master Cullen flung her hand away fiercely.

II II Alice didn't care about the pain as she squatted on the ground and raised her head to look at Master Cullen. The sunlight here was too glaring, she couldn't even see his face clearly, she could only faintly make out the contours of his face.

"Go!"

Master Cullen kicked her back, turned, and walked towards the bookshelf.

Alice was kicked until she fell onto the ground. Although she was not very angry, she still had some questions.

So icy.

She looked at her hands, her fingertips still remained cold, why did Master Cullen wear such a cold watch?

The time on the watch clearly did not move. Why was he wearing it?

Alice walked out of Master Cullen's study room and stared at her hands the entire time.

When night came, William, Alice and the twins sat in the garden dining hall to eat. William and Alice both seemed to be deep in thought, there wasn't much talk.

Kathy, who loved to chat with others, couldn't hold back anymore. She was so depressed that she couldn't even eat anymore, "Can't you hear what I'm saying?" William suddenly came to his senses and looked at Alice, only to see her holding a knife and fork in her plate, slashing the shell of the scallop again and again.

"Are you going to eat this shell?" William said, "How come I didn't know you had this kind of hobby?"

"Huh?" Alice was startled. Seeing that she was cutting on a shell, she felt embarrassed and immediately put it aside.

"What's wrong?" William asked.

Eating a meal while being lost in thought, who was she thinking of?

"Nothing."

Alice shook her head and cut the food. She then looked at William and asked seriously, "William, do you know such a technology that when a watch is broken, afer placing it in the fridge and it will repair itself?"
