Their bodies pressed tightly against each other.

The kiss was intensive.

In his arms, Alice had almost forgotten her surname. Only after a long time did Alice regain her senses and push him away, "Don't, don't, otherwise it would be too late to cook dinner."

William kissed her on the mouth a few more times before letting her continue cooking.

Abruptly, his brows knitted together. "What smell is it that's so unpleasant?"

He released Alice and turned to walk towards the two soup cups. Opening one of them, a pungent smell of Chinese medicine wafted out.

William frowned as he closed the lid, "It is for mother, why haven't you sent it to her yet?"

Alice turned around to take a look and said, "It's mother who doesn't want to drink it, so there's nothing that the maid can do. William, why don't you send it to your mother?"

"I didn't get along with her." William said.

"This is medicine soup, mother is in a very bad mood, drinking the soup is good for her health." Alice walked over and said, "In this family, there are only three people who could make mother willingly drink the soup. You, your brother, and Master Cullen."

William's gaze darkened.

"Your brother is no longer here and Master Cullen is busy, so you're the only one." Alice said gently, "You can go now, don't start a fight."

"If she doesn't mention it, we won't be in conflict." William hated Elizabeth for restraining Alice.

"Even if she mentions me, you can still have a good chat. Go."

Alice placed the soup on the tray and handed it over to him, urging him.

"Got it."

William snorted coldly and took the tray and left. Suddenly, he took two steps back and Alice aske with some confusion, "What's wrong? Hmm..."

William lowered his body slightly, turned his head and kissed her lips. His hot and soft tongue licked on her lips, "Alright, I'm going." Alice looked at him speechlessly before reaching out her hand to touch her lips.

The weather was mild. The huge castle was quiet.

A few maid stood outside Elizabeth's room. Upon seeing William, they all lowered their heads and respectfully greeted him, "Second Young Master."

"Open the door."

William said coldly.

"Yes, Second Young Master."

The maid pushed open the two doors and William walked in carrying a tray.

"Like I said, I don't want to eat anything, just take it out." Elizabeth sat on the bed and weakly raised her head to look forward. When her eyes met with William's, she was startled, "It's you."

William walked over slowly and placed the tray away, staring at her.

Elizabeth sat there, wearing a pajamas and a with blanket covering her. She had always been so focused on dressing up but now her hair seemed messy, her face was pale and her eyes were red, as though she had just cried. In her hands was a photo frame.

The photo inside was a picture of William and David together.

"Drink the medicinal soup." William opened the soup cup, releasing a strong medicinal smell.

William picked up a small bowl, used a spoon to scoop up the soup and gave the bowl to her.

William would never humble himself to do such a thing. In her memories, Elizabeth had almost forgotten when William treated her so intimately, it seemed like he had never done so before.

Elizabeth looked at him, her eyes were red with grief.

She put the photo frame aside, took the bowl from him and started drinking the soup.

"You cried."

William stood there and said to her.

Elizabeth swallowed a mouthful of bitter soup, turned her eyes and looked at the picture, "I miss your brother."

William looked at her silently.

"I know that you don't want to shoulder the reputation of the Cullen Family at all. You only like to play with high-tech stuff. I had originally wanted to nurture Alice, but you are not willing. "Elizabeth smiled bitterly, "If only your brother was still here, then one of you brothers would be guarding inside and one outside. You guys would definitely be a perfect match, the Cullen Family will get better and better."

"How do you know he's willing to take that responsibility?"

William said coldly as he lowered his eyes to look at the photo frame.

"There is pressure to support a noble clan. Although his talent is inferior to yours, he has never been as resistant as you." Elizabeth said.

"Heh."

William suddenly sneered mockingly.

"What are you laughing at?" Elizabeth looked at him, puzzled.

"Nothing."

William said indifferently.

"I really don't know how far Cullen Family will go in the future. Just watching our Cullen Family fall amongst the nobles, I am truly not willing to give up."

"I didn't say I didn't care."

William said.

"But you don't have the intention to raise the prestige of the Cullen Family, right? You won't even let your wife learn etiquette. Is she that important to you? Elizabeth asked in grief.

"She's important." William looked at her and answered without hesitation, "She is more important than the entire Cullen Family, she is more important than my life!"

Elizabeth's smile became even more bitter, she looked up at him and said, "When on the Italian island, if your father did not release Alice..."

Without waiting for her to finish speaking, William cut her off: "Then I won't be here right now."

If Alice died, he would die.

Elizabeth looked at him and nodded sadly, "Alright, I understand, you can go now."

"Drink the soup!"

"I'm watching you!"

Elizabeth glanced at him for a moment and could only drink the soup in her bowl. William then scooped another bowl for her to drink before turning around and leaving.

After walking a few steps, William turned around and saw Elizabeth picking up the photo frame again.

Seeing his gaze, Elizabeth smiled, "I wonder if my health is getting worse, and recently, I've been thinking about your brother."

"What nonsense!"

William glared at her coldly before he left with big strides.

Elizabeth continued to look at the photo frame in her hands.

The next day.

Alice and William went to Police station to record their confessions, explaining everything that happened on the day of the wedding.

In the bright hall of Police station, Alice sat together with William and told the officer everything that she had seen in detail. "There's a video of everything that happened, Mona kidnapped our son and she even said that she wanted to kill him. At that time, my son's face was already covered with blood, so William had no choice but to shoot."

As for the twins' confessions, the lawyer stopped them on the grounds that the children were too young and too frightened to give evidence.

"Yes, we understand. It is just a routine. You two can leave after signing your names."

The two police officers treated them with great respect, handing over the documents forthem to sign.

Alice and William signed their names and after she finished signing, she was pulled up by William and they left while hugging each other.

There were rows upon rows of police cars and many luxury cars parked in the open field outside. There were quite a few people dressed like bodyguards standing in front of a building diagonally across from them.

Seeing Alice looking over, Daniel, who was standing behind William, said, "Those are the people from the Lancaster family. After this incident, Lancaster has lost their face, I wonder if they will cause a ruckus with the Cullen Family."

"Let them try."

William scoffed disdainfully, hugged Alice and turned to leave.

Someone saw them in the building over there, and soon there was a commotion.

A well-dressed man rushed out and pointed in their direction.

It seemed as if he was greatly infuriated.

"Young master, let's go."

Daniel stepped forward to create a path.

"What's there to be anxious about? Do they dare to touch me?" William said coldly as he carried Alice and walked forward.

A few noble young masters of Lancaster rushed out in anger towards them. William remained calm, there was not a single trace of fear on his face, as though he could not see that those people were coming for him.

The uniformed police officers rushed out from all directions, while the Cullen Family bodyguards ran over and stopped the people from Lancaster family. The people of Lancaster family were all well-dressed, at this moment all of their nobilities were gone, they twisted their bodies and tried to break free from the restraint of policemen and bodyguards, the clothes they were wearing became messy as they pushed and shoved. They jumped up, pointed at William and the others and cursed.

"William, I know it's you. You must have set up a trap!"

"You destroyed our Lancaster!"

"Lancaster won't let you go, half- breed bastard!"

They could only watch as William left.

Before getting on the car, William turned to look at them and let out a disdainful sneer at them. Then, he let Alice get in first.

The car slowly drove away from the police station.

Alice sat on the car and looked at the excited people and sighed: "William, foster father, is the fame of the noble clan so important? Did you hear their insults? From start to finish, they have been accusing us of damaging Lancaster's reputation but not mentioning Mona's life."

Aren't those all Mona's relatives? Even if William was to be insulted, it would be about Mona death. After all, that was a human life.

But they kept saying Lancaster, Lancaster.
