"Do you know how I've lived these four years? You told me about changing back? "William roared, "My illness has never been cured. I was merely played like a dog by Mona for four years, four whole years!"
"William, don't be like this."
"I thought I was already a normal person, but I wasn't!" William reached out to pinch her chin and roared hysterically, "I am still paranoia! No, not only that, I am now also a paranoia who have been played by others for four whole years! I am just a lunatic, a lunatic who has been played around with by others!"
"No, no."
For a moment, Alice could not find any words to say to comfort William.
Just as Doctor Walker had said.
He couldn't accept it.
He had always thought highly of himself. How could he accept that he had been played by a woman for four years?
Mona said that his current situation was like a balloon being pressed. He would explode at any time and become a complete madman.
"Heh." William looked at her and laughed as if he was thinking of something funny, "Alice, look at how idiotic I am! You chose the most idiotic man in the world!"
"It's not like that." Alice kept shaking her head.
"You can go." William pushed her away, "I'm not even qualified to live. Leave."
"I'm not leaving."
"I'm letting you go!" William shouted hoarsely, he stood up from the sofa and glared at her, "How long are you going to keep watching me make a joke of myself? Is it interesting to see me so ignorant as to be deceived by a woman for four years? You've become so sticky recently because you want me to recover, right?"
He understood everything.
Alice stood up and stared at him blankly.
William was especially agitated. He scratched his head with his fingers and stomped his foot hard, his tone became extremely weird, "A woman toyed with me for four years, and a woman tried her best to please me in order to help me. She obviously wasn't willing to be some noble's mistress, but she still stayed a month to endure the ridicule from others. What was this? Am I, William, already incompetent to such an extent?
He was played by a woman.
He had been secretly supported by his own woman.
Then what was he? He wasn't a man at all.
"You think I'm watching you make a joke?" Alice asked, then smiled, as tears flowed down her face, "William, are you denying yourself, or me?"
"You go!" William flung away the thing beside his hand fiercely and glared at her. "I'm not leaving."
"I'm letting you go!" William roared at her as though he had gone mad, "There's no wedding anymore! There weren't any aristocratic young mistresses left! I don't want to marry anymore! Get out of here!"
He was just an ignorant fool who was proud to be toyed with.
A gust of wind blew over and her long hair streaked across Alice's face. She looked at William, "William, do you always have to shake me off before the wedding? My heart is not made of stone."
This time again.
Hearing that, William stood there without saying anything. He looked at her and retreated backwards, sneering at himself.
"Alice, I'm not good enough, understand?" "I don't even deserve to live! I can't take care of you! I can't do anything! " William looked at her, "Other than losing your freedom and feel pain, you will have nothing with me."
"I still have you." Alice replied very naturally with tears in her eyes. "As long as you are here, I can do anything. I don't care."
"Even if I'm an idiot, an incurable lunatic?" William mocked, "Even I'm looking down on myself! Alice, you can go, I ask you to go! go!"
At the end, he roared again.
Go.
Don't look at his awkward appearance here. He spent four years to make a joke, and she knew it earlier than him. She just silently accompanied him.
Alice stood there and looked at him with sorrow.
Suddenly, a noise rang out. Before Alice could react, William had already shot out like an arrow that had left the bow. Alice hurriedly chased after him.
"Come back here! Come back!"
William's furious roar sounded out.
Alice rushed over, only to see that Mona had unshackled herself and was already sitting on the lifeboat. It was a luxurious high technology yacht, even the equipment on the lifeboat was high class.
Half of Mona's head was covered in blood, she had used all her strength to wear the life jacket, and was on the verge of collapse under the sea breeze.
Seeing William and the others rushing over, she immediately went to get the electric appliances on the lifeboat, but no matter what, she could not get it to move.
"Lancaster, I tell you, you can't live!"
William roared, with one hand on the handrail, he was about to jump down to the life boat.
"William, be careful!"
Alice rushed forward in fear.
Mona tried her best to mess around on the lifeboat. Just as William was about to jump down, the boat suddenly shook and changed its course.
Alice was just about to walk when she was thrown to the side in a flash. Her head hit the railing heavily, making her lose consciousness on the spot.
William stood there, held the railing tightly with his slender hands. Hearing the sound, he turned and looked at Alice, then glared at Mona, the fire in his body almost engulfed her, "I'll kill you!"
After saying that, his hand drooped down.
Alice laid there, her vision was blurred. She stared blankly ahead, but was unable to see anything clearly.
She saw the blurry outline of William's body and could not see him clearly.
William, be careful.
Her lips moved, but no words came out and some liquid flowed down her forehead.
In the next second, she was lifted up into the air.
Amidst the sea breeze, Alice fell into a warm embrace. She blurrily opened her eyes and saw William's gloomy face.
"Where's Mona?"
Alice asked in a low voice.
"She fled."
William looked at the surface of the sea, seeing the lifeboat going further and further away.
Alice leaned into his embrace and listened.
Thus, he gave up on chasing Mona for her sake.
Alice was carried by William into a bedroom. William paced back and forth in the room, took out a white towel and pressed it to her forehead, then wiped the blood off her forehead and went to look for a medicine kit.
Alice sat on the bed with a pale face, she looked at William and said, "I'm fine, why don't you bandage your hands?"
William ignored her completely. He rummaged through the entire room and found the medicine kit to treat her wounds with disinfectant before putting on some gauze. He asked with a low voice, "How's the pain?"
"It doesn't hurt anymore."
Alice reached out and pressed down on the bandage on her head.
She raised her hand and the bandage on her bandaged wrist came into his eyesight. William stood up and walked outside.
"Where are you going?"
Alice asked.
"Go to the bridge and turn the yacht back."
William's voice was gloomy.
Go back?
Alice lifted her blanket and got off the bed, feeling extremely dizzy all of a sudden.
Blinking her eyes, she tried her best to stabilize herself before walking out.
"Why did Mr. Y disappear as well?" Alice asked confusedly.
It seemed that the moment William appeared, Mr. Y left. She only took a glance, but did not see him.
William did not make a sound. He stood there and researched the high technology on the boat, then set a new route.
Alice stood there and looked at William. The wound on his hand was still bleeding, so she took out the gauze and pressed it on his hand.
They stood silently in the cab.
He continued to check the yacht's routes.
Alice slowly walked behind William and stood there, then she extended a hand and wrapped it around his waist.
William trembled as he stood there and reached to pull her hand. Alice hugged him tightly.
"I have a headache."
Alice whispered.
William allowed her to encircle him.
Alice encircled him from the back, leaned her face on his back and said, "No matter who you are, no matter what you turn into, I want to marry you. I told you, I don't want anyone but you."
"Don't say that anymore." William said, "Leave everything to me when you go back. Whether you bring the twins back to San Francisco or to Italy, it's up to you."
He paved the way for her whatever life she wanted.
Alice leaned on his back and upon hearing what he said, her hands grabbed his clothes tightly, her eyes were moist. "What did I do wrong and why are you abandoning me again?"
William's body stiffened.
"Why do you always give up when I think we can have a home?" Alice asked, her voice was choked with emotions.
They're getting married, aren't they?
"I'm not worthy of you."
William stood there with his eyes looking straight ahead and his voice came out from his throat, "Alice, listen carefully, you need a man to shoulder the burden of your life, he can take care of you and protect you from any harm, he definitely won't be so stupid as to ask you to forgive him!"
"Aren't you?"
Alice asked.
'Tm just an idiot who thinks of being invincible. In the end, I didn't accomplish anything." William mocked himself, "Other than hurting you, what else have I given you?"
"A lot." Alice said, "Happiness, memories, and the twins." William looked down and reached out to pull her hand away once again.
