"Speak!"
William reached out to loosen his collar. He didn't know if it was because he didn't take the medicine anymore, he seemed to be more and more irritable.
He did not interrupt her again, and Alice was finally able to smoothly continue speaking.
On the other side, in the living room of an unfamiliar villa, the floor was filled with brand-new toys.
Kathy laid on the blanket and fell asleep, her small mouth opened wide and snored.
The man covered Kathy with his clothes with a mask and sunglasses. Holy was standing there with delicate features but expressionless. He coldly looked at the man in front of him, and he clenched his small fists tightly.
The man then looked at Holy who was standing straight there, and asked: "Why are you running?"
Holy stood there, and looked at him coldly. He understood that there was no longer a need to hide it, "The reason why we are here is the reason for our escape."
The man looked at him and chuckled. He went away and poured a cup of warm water. He said in a mature voice, "So, you don't believe that I'm the one your father sent to teach you?"
Smart little guy.
Just like his father, he possessed a high IQ.
"I saw it."
Holy said.
"What?"
The man asked as he approached him with the glass. His tone was not aggressive.
"The driver fainted because of your people, he was directly dragged out." Holy said.
The man chuckled and sat down on a chair nearby. "Who do you think I am?" "Kidnapper, we are your hostages." Holy said, his small face did not have the slightest trace of fear, "The words you wanted me to read were all your true intentions, not a drill."
"That is to say, you saw it in the morning, but you kept pretending to be an ignorant child, waiting for the opportunity to run away with your sister. I have to say, you are the smartest child I've ever met."
The man chuckled and was unstinting in his praise.
Holy stood there, not feeling happy at all from his praise. His face turned cold, "You said it before, when children are kidnapped, they only need to cooperate with the kidnappers and wait for their parents to rescue them."
"Do you use what I taught you to retort?"
The man laughed and spread his hands, "I didn't want to hurt you at first, I only wanted to take the money, but you took your sister and ran away, which almost made me lose a huge sum of money, moreover, you are too smart, so smart that you don't even seem like a child."
"What do you want? Killing us?"
Holy asked.
"Aren't you afraid?" The man was interested in Holy's calm appearance.
He never thought that William would have such a son.
Holy clenched his fists again, and looked at Kathy who was sleeping soundly on the blanket, as he took a deep breath, and then looked at the man's sunglasses, "My sister won't remember anything, don't hurt her."
"You're still concerned about your sister at a time like this?" The man chuckled, as if he was amused.
"I lied to her to run, so she ran. She didn't know anything. She'll believe anything you say to her. She's very stupid, so you don't need to kill her. You just want money." Holy said as he worked hard to find a chance for his sister to survive.
The man bent down and handed the cup to him.
Holy was dumb for a while. He raised his little hand to grab the cup.
The man suddenly wanted to see this child's bottom line. He reached out and lightly rubbed his face. "You may as well give the water to your little sister. Since you've already said that she'll believe anything. She'll definitely be willing to drink it."
"Will my sister be fine if I drink it?"
Holy looked at him and asked, his small hands tightly grasped the cup.
"Yes."
The man nodded.
Holy lowered his eyes and looked at his sleeping little sister, he held the cup and gulped the entire cup of water without the slightest hesitation, as if he was facing death.
The man froze for a few seconds.
The man looked at his dry, small mouth. He had been on guard from the start, which was why he held his sister's hand. Since morning, he hadn't eaten a single mouthful of food or drank a single sip of water.
His mouth was so dry that it was about to peel off.
Holy drank the water in his cup, pointed to the glass kettle on the table not far away, and asked, "Can I drink all of that?"
The man looked at him and knew that he was afraid that Kathy would drink the "poisonous water" from the kettle again.
It was late, the sky was filled with stars, and the villa was shrouded in moonlight.
In the quiet main hall, Alice told everything about she and Mr. Y in the past few years without missing a single detail.
She tried to remember every conversation she had with Mr. Y.
"That's it."
Alice finished her speech.
"You said he was fascinated by your paintings?" William asked.
"Yes." Alice nodded, she did not know how good her painting was, her impression of Mr. Y was that he would often look at the painting in the gallery for a long time.
Sometimes, she even had the illusion that she was a master.
"Looks like he's the kidnapper." William sat beside her, staring at her with his black eyes, and said with a low voice. "Take the medicine, and sleep."
"Sleep?" Alice looked at him in puzzlement.
Now that she knew Mr. Y might be a kidnapper, shouldn't they think of a way to rescue the twins? Or at least escape first?
"He won't hurt our children. Unless his love for you has reached the point of being perverted, there are many opportunities for him to directly possess you." William regained his calmness.
Alice still looked at him confusedly.
How could he be sure Mr. Y wouldn't hurt the twins? To be honest, she had always been wary of Mr. Y because he was so mysterious.
"You still don't understand?" William looked at her, "If you didn't miss anything, then he only has one goal."
"What is it?"
Alice asked.
"He's helping create time for us to spend together. He intentionally made you draw for that little girl with leukemia to remind you that you still have a passion for painting and should not give up."
Alice looked at him in shock, she was unable to digest this fact, "Did you mean that Mr. Y knows that you are with me for the whole day, that he's a good person?"
From customer to suitor to kidnapper to good guy?
"How good can he be?" William said coldly, "Kidnapping is illegal, Miss Alice."
Her first reaction was that this Mr. Y was a good person? Ridiculous.
"But you said he wouldn't hurt the twins. That's right, the two kids in the two videos weren't afraid. This proves that they weren't hurt, right?"
It was good that the two children were fine.
For her now, as long as the children were okay, the kidnapper was a good man, and Mr. Y was a good man.
William glared at her gloomily, "Alice, you wouldn't be touched by this, right?"
The man had hit her with a car, and her head was still wrapped in gauze.
'Tm calling Mr. Y." Alice completely believed in William's judgement and decisively dialed Mr. Y's number.
"Turn on the speaker."
William said.
The phone was quickly connected, and a woman's voice sounded from the phone, "Miss Alice, hello, I'm Mr. Y's assistant, Yuri."
"Hello, Miss Yuri, is Mr. Y by your side? I have something to say to him."
Alice said.
William sat close to her with a gloomy face.
"He is here. Please speak."
Yuri said.
Alice pursed her lips, and looked at William's eyes, and said, "Mr. Y, first of all, I want to say that I am very grateful for what you have done for me. I know that your original intention was for my own good, to help me create a chance to get along with William."
William stared at Alice's face with her black eyes.
After Alice's words ended, the other side was silent for a long time, then Yuri's voice came again, "Since Miss Alice knows, then there's no need to hide, Mr. Y told me to inform you, he's very sorry, he didn't expect to hit you, are you alright?"
It was really Mr. Y.
Everything was as what William said.
'Tm fine, I'm already much better, and I won't pursue this matter, because I know Mr. Y has good intentions."
William was furious when he heard Alice say that she would not pursue the matter further.
"Miss Alice is really a considerate person." You Li said.
Alice hurriedly got to the main topic, "The twins..."
Yuri interrupted her words, "Mr. Y has already told someone to send the twins back home. The two children played here for the whole day, and are currently asleep. They should be at your gallery in ten minutes."
Hearing this, Alice heaved a heavy sigh of relief.
It was good that the children were fine.
