It was beautiful, perfect for sketching.
Hearing that, William gave her a meaningful look, and didn't say anything more.
William was still very busy on the car, and on the journey to North Bay, she did some mental calculations. He called a total of ten times, all about business.
He was busy.
Really busy.
The car slowly drove into the North Bay, and from afar, they could see a white sand beach. The ocean water was flowing peacefully, and the unique buildings made Kathy exclaim in surprise.
"I like it here!"
Kathy easily liked a lot of things.
"Hmm."
Alice nodded, pushed open the door and got out of the car. A gust of cold wind blew past, making her immediately wrap herself tightly with her coat. Then, she went to took Kathy and Holy.
William walked down and started to make calls again.
The cameraman and his team picked up the machine and began to set up the machine, looking for the right angle.
Alice took out an easel and other things from the trunk. Looking around for a suitable place to draw, the twins followed her to a place with relatively weak wind. She took out the easel from her bag and started to assemble it.
"There is still some problem with the holographic proposal..."
William kept talking while he turned around. The sea breeze blew by, Alice bent down as she assembled the easel. The two children stood beside her, the sunlight shining on the beach was pure gold, her long hair was fluttered in the wind.
He suddenly lost his voice, and stared at the scene in a daze.
Not knowing what Kathy said, Alice suddenly laughed, her eyes were shining and her teeth were dazzling white.
William stood there quietly, and suddenly felt emptiness.
He turned to see that the cameraman was fiddling with the machine. William reached out to the cameraman, pulling him.
The photographer looked at him blankly, then went to the machine again.
William pulled him again.
The photographer bent over to fiddle with the machine again.
William put away his phone, stretched out his hand and pointed the camera at Alice, then coldly walked away.
The photographer was confused.
Uh.
What happened?
William walked towards them as she was dealing with the screws. He frowned, "Let me do it."
Alice looked up at him.
"Can you assemble it? The easel is crooked."
William walked over, took off his watch and gave it to her, then began to assemble the easel.
Alice took the watch and was stunned for a few seconds, then stood to the side and watched as he worked. William's hand making skills were not bad, the easel was quickly assembled by him, Kathy did not like waiting, she ran away and played with the sand.
"Hiss..."
William suddenly moaned.
Alice immediately looked over and saw that William's fingertip had been pierced, revealing blood.
Alice put away the watch and immediately walked over and grabbed his hand, "How did you get a wooden thorn?"
"I wasn't careful."
William said coldly.
"Did you bring a medicine kit?"
Alice looked up at him.
William's throat tightened as he coldly said, "Who would bring a medicine kit to sketching?"
"You don't keep my foster father by your side, then you won't get fully prepared." Alice frowned, she turned to look at the bodyguards and said, "Help me watch the twins, we'll be right back."
"Yes."
The bodyguards nodded.
"Follow me."
Alice pulled William's hand and left.
It was only a small wound.
William wanted to retract his hand, but then he gave up and allowed her to lead him forward.
The beads of blood on his hands increased in number.
As Alice walked, she carefully took out the wooden thorn and pressed a tissue to the wound, holding one of his finger with her other hand, she walked up the stairs, step by step.
"Where to?"
William asked in a low voice.
"I know where the medicine kit is. Let's go."
Alice pulled his hand and the seabird flew by.
William stared at her back, allowing her to pull him away.
Alice brought William to their room, "Sit on the sofa for a while, I'll go get the medicine kit."
The new house was large and spacious.
William raised his hands, he looked around, seeing Alice walk to a cabinet and took out a medicine kit, he immediately retracted his gaze and sat down on the sofa and crossed his legs.
"There is no need to bandage this small wound. It is a waste of time."
William said indifferently.
"I know that from your point of view, having fun today is a waste of time, so I don't mind wasting a little more time here."
Alice carried medicine kit and sat down beside him. She took out a bottle of medical alcohol, opened the cap, and a pungent smell drifted out.
She picked up the tweezers, picked up the cotton and carefully wiped his wound. "Does it hurt?"
"It doesn't hurt."
William lowered his eyes and stared at her.
Alice focused on treating his wound. She opened her lips and blew the wound, then picked up the Band-Aid and stuck it on for him. She asked: "Isn't it a bit too tight?"
"Why are you so good to me?"
William's low voice sounded by her ear.
Alice looked up at him. His face was right in front of her eyes, and she could feel his breath.
"Weren't you thinking only about that William in the past, and repeatedly treated me coldly, why do you bandage my wounds?" William asked, staring at her.
His phone vibrated.
William took his phone and glanced at it, and his face immediately turned dark.
Alice lowered her eyes and said, "It's bandaged."
She stood up to go.
"You aren't even willing to talk to me anymore?"
William's voice suddenly turned cold.
Who was the man that was unwilling to speak?
Many times, she just looked at his back.
Alice pursed her lips and sat by his side. She looked at him, "How have you been these past four years?"
This answer, she had never known.
"In your eyes, am I made of two different people? Me and my past self."
William suddenly asked with a cold voice.
Alice was stunned. Her lips slightly opened, but no words came out.
"If you have nothing to say, then it means I'm right." William rested his hands on his knees and looked at her.
Alice bit her lips and stood up from the sofa, "Yes, in my eyes, you two are completely different people. One is passionate, the other is calm and reserved."
These are two extremes.
William said with a cold face, "You like that paranoia that much?"
Wasn't she the one who asked the question? Why did she have to answer his question now?
Alice looked at his black eyes, then nodded. "Yes, when I fell in love with him, I knew he was paranoia."
William sat on the sofa, a strange feeling surged through his chest.
"He hurt you. Most of memories is the look of shock and fear in your eyes, the way you always look at me when I get sick."
Hearing that, Alice looked at him in a daze.
So when he left that year, all he could think about was her shock and fear?
"I'm just worried."
Alice said.
"If the one sitting here today is the William from the past, you would still be shocked and terrified." William said in a low voice.
"I won't."
Alice said.
"Even if he stabs the fruit knife into someone else's palm?"
Alice's fingertips trembled.
William sat there and looked down at his fingers. After a while, he raised his head and looked at her uneasy face, and said word by word, "What do you like about him? He torments you! He held you tight, he did not give you any private space! Don't you hate the lack of freedom? He has placed all his attention on you, so he does not have the energy to deal with other things, that if someone bullies you two, he will not be able to protect you. He is a coward, he does not even have the ability to protect himself."
Alice looked at him in shock.
"I don't have any of his weaknesses. With me here, you will forever be able to live under my protection. If you're smart enough, you should know how to make your choice."
Alice looked at him in disbelief, she never expected him to say such a thing.
"Did Mona tell you these words? She told you how weak you were in the past?" Alice suddenly realized Mona may had done something, "William, it's not like that. You shouldn't have looked for Mona to treat your sickness in the first place." "You think that Mona can easily fool me like that?" William said coldly, "This is a self -judgement."
"What?"
Alice was stunned.
"No matter if it's the past William or the current William, both of them agree that the past version should disappear." William said coldly.
"It's not like that!"
Alice said excitedly.
William stood up from the sofa and looked at her, "Alice, stop messing around, let's get married."
His voice was calm.
He was so calm that he didn't have a shred of emotion.
Alice stared at him blankly, not understanding why the topic suddenly changed to marriage. William walked towards her step by step, and Alice unconsciously moved backwards, until she reached the pillar and stuck her back against it.
He raised his hand and placed it on top of her head, and lowered his head to look at her, saying in a low voice, "I know you're trying to make the previous William come back."
Alice looked at him in shock.
He finally found out?
She only wanted a tiny piece of him back.
"I just received news that you had an appointment with a psychiatrist this afternoon. The appointment was about success and failure in the treatment of paranoid personality disorder." William lowered his eyes and looked at her, "What you want to do is too obvious."
