Chapter 476

My Lord, My Billionaire Master1,814 words~10 min read

His coat, she thought, would be wet.

The lights of the city came on, illuminating every street.

Alice drove at the slowest speed and quietly followed William as she returned back to the N.E.

But he did not go in.

Alice sat on the carriage as she watched William walk to the opposite side of the building step by step. Standing under a tree, she looked at the majestic N.E.

She couldn't know what he was thinking.

Under the night sky, snowflakes gently drifted down.

The tree had strings of small lanterns, bright red against the snow. He stood motionless, letting the snow melt on his coat.

Alice followed his gaze and looked towards the N. E Building. There were a few lights that were not lit inside the building, making it look pitch black.

The front door was bright, but the brightness was not pleasant, for the clerks came out with their suitcases.

They were all leaving this place, to leave the paranoia's rule.

They all thought there was a better place to stay.

However, none of them knew how much paranoia had invested for N.E. In this place, everything was William's doing than Cullen's house.

How Would William accept it?

Alice looked at William, only to see William taking out his phone from her pocket. She was quietly watching, when her phone suddenly rang.

She sat on the Driver and picked up her phone, reflecting William's name.

He was calling her.

Alice immediately picked up the phone and looked in the direction of William. The wiper was swiping from time to time, brushing the snow to the side. William's face was sometimes clear and sometimes blurry in her line of sight.

"William."

Alice said.

"Did you bandage your feet?"

William asked her.

Alice lowered her eyes to look at her dried up foot, and said with a light voice. "Mn, I've finished bandaging it."

"Is that so?" William stood under the tree, his eyes still staring at N.E. his voice was so low that could not be heard, "Are you resting?"

"That's right, I'm resting. What about you? Where are you? I'll go find you, okay?"

Alice didn't want him to know that she had followed him the entire way, chased after him.

He would be angry.

"Alice." He called her name, in a voice that was particularly sexy.

"I'm here."

Alice said softly.

"You told me before. William, if you keep this strange temper of yours, others would leave you." William said as he looked at the N.E Tower on his phone. He slightly raised his chin, and a bit of snow fell into his eyes.

Alice stared blankly at him. Then, she recalled the memory and said, "That was a long time ago.

A long, long time ago.

At that time, she hadn't fallen in love with him yet. She didn't like his bad temper, so she had said that.

She regretted it now and wanted to take back the words.

Can she take it back?

"I told you then, the person who left shouldn't have remained." William said in a low voice, his voice resonating beside his phone, "Only now did I realize that I was wrong. Everyone left me, and maybe even if N.E does."

Hearing that, Alice was stunned, and her eyelashes slightly trembled, "It won't, William. I know you're having a hard time right now, but don't worry about it. Just take this as a long vacation and adjust your mood. You'll know what to do with N.E., won't you? N.E. won't fall."

His technology empire, and his feelings for his big brother and his memories of him will not fall apart.

"Alice, I know that my illness was bad."

William asked.

Alice was speechless, "William."

"I have an illusion." William continued, his voice carried a tinge of grievance, as though he was a child.

"What did you say?"

Alice was shocked, and she looked at William who was not far away.

William stood under the tree, raised a hand and pressed it against his eyes, then said, "I feel that I'm like a lunatic now."

Many times, he didn't want to curse or lose his temper.

However, he was becoming unable to control himself increasingly.

"Shouldn't lunatics not know that there's something wrong with themselves? But why would I be so clear about seeing my condition worsen? How can I be so clear about the fact that I become a lunatic? " William said self-deprecatingly. His eyes became even redder after being pressed by the finger, and a faint glimmer of water appeared in his eyes.

"William, you are just under too much pressure now. It's okay, believe me. We'll be fine after the treatment. N.E. needs you too, so you have to pull yourself together."

Alice said.

She listened to his voice full of self-destruction.

She did not want to see William like this.

"Then what if it can't be cured?" William asked. Alice was speechless, because who could guarantee a 100% recovery?

"If I can't cure it, then N.E. will be destroyed, and more and more people will leave me. Daniel will also leave, and the twins will also leave me. But, you can't leave." William said in a low voice, "You will be imprisoned, and I will not allow you to have freedom. You have connections, and I will watch over you 24 hours until you begin to resist, then I will accidentally kill you. Perhaps, I will even cut you into pieces, and perhaps, I will make your corpse into...."

She was his greatest obsession. A mentally handicapped person could do anything.

"I won't resist."

Alice didn't think much of it and interrupted him.

"If the situation really turns out to be that bad, then watch over me 24 hours a day.

It doesn't matter, I don't want freedom, I don't want social interaction, and I don't want anything. It satisfied me just watching you everyday." Alice said with a resolute and decisive voice without a trace of hesitation.

Hearing her words, William became silent.

There was a long silence.

Alice looked up, only to see William standing there with his phone by his ear. The snow was so small and thin, yet it had accumulated a thin layer of white on his hair and shoulders.

"Alice, I'm tired."

William's low and hoarse voice sounded beside her ear.

The voice was very, very low, and it went from her ear all the way to her heart.

"I've never been so tired before. I don't want to do anything. I don't want anything anymore." William said.

As Alice sat in the car, she felt an unprecedented pain in her chest, and her eyes gradually reddened.

What could she say to make him feel better?

What could she do to cheer him up again?

William stood by a tree, pressed his feet on the ground and sighed into his phone, "It's cold, Alice, it's snowing outside. It's really cold."

Cold?

Alice looked at William who was standing there, and snow was falling from his shoulders.

Yes, he was too cold. He needed a hug.

"William, wait for me. I'll be right over."

Alice anxiously said, then she hung up and was about to push open the door to get off.

This was a non-motor driveway.

After thinking for a moment, she drove the car to the parking lot in front of the N.E Building. She pushed open the door and got out of the car. She twisted her leg, causing a slight numbing pain.

Alice raised her eyes and looked in the opposite direction, only to see a few strings of small red lanterns were swaying in the wind.

Where was he?

Alice's eyes widened in astonishment. She ran to the other side and stood at the place William was standing a moment ago, looking around. There was no one around her.

"William! William!"

Alice shouted.

No one answered her, and some of the clerks working in the area looked at her.

The snowy weather was extremely cold. She took out her cell phone to call William, but heard the heartless female voice telling her that the other side had shut down.

His phone was turned off?

Just now, he was still on the phone.

Where did he go?

Alice looked around, found a path to the left, and then looked towards the right, "William!

William!"

Her voice rose in the snow, her long hair flecked with snow.

"Miss.Brown!"

Daniel walked out of the N.E Building with a black umbrella in his hand, "Miss.Brown, you need to bandage your feet, or the gauze will be torn and tied together with your skin."

"William is gone." Alice did not care about her own feet, and looked left and right anxiously: "Quickly get people to look for him, quickly!"

"The Young Master is missing? Ah, alright."

Daniel nodded and handed the umbrella over to Alice. Then, he quickly ran towards the N. E Building.

Alice took the umbrella and walked along the road that William had just walked on, hoping to meet him. How could he disappear in the blink of an eye?

Where did he go?

He said he was tired. Could he have gone back to rest?

She parked in front of the N.E. building and didn't see him.

Alice held onto her umbrella and walked in the snow night, the wind blowing cold and bonepiercing. This was probably the coldest night in the past year, and her fingers were stiff with cold.

Just like that, she walked on the empty and quiet road, searching for that familiar figure.

"William! Where are you? Can you hear me?

She shouted loudly, trying to let William hear her.

Right now, he was a bit self- abandoned. Perhaps, he was hiding somewhere and didn't want to see anyone.

She would find him.

She would find him. 20 minutes later, Daniel saw from the closed-circuit television that William had left on a black commercial vehicle.

Two hours later, the technical department found out that the license plate was fake and that there was no one in the commercial vehicle that could not analyse it. Furthermore, the commercial vehicle had bypassed all surveillance and disappeared without a trace.

Five hours later, police intervened, characterizing the incident as a kidnapping by a wealthy person and conducting a full investigation.

Five days later, the police once again classified this incident as a case of disappearance. This was because, from start to finish, no kidnapper had called them to demand a ransom, while William had yet to return.

Maybe because the police were acting too rashly, so the news of William's disappearance spread out. More and more people left N.E.

This new year had arrived amidst the snowstorm.

In the depths of the forest, the majestic and magnificent Imperial Castle didn't have the slightest bit of New Year's atmosphere, but lifelessness.
