Alice stood up and turned around. She looked at where William was sitting, and he was seated at a table, and the police officer who gave him the statement did not say a word.
The police wiped off his sweat, but did not dare to ask.
William just sat there arrogantly, leaning back. His handsome face was as cold as ice, and his pair of black eyes stared at her gloomily.
Their eyes met.
William looked like that he was about to eat her.
Suddenly, his stomach twitched.
William's face suddenly turned pale white, and he looked at him blankly, but why did he suddenly have such a terrible expression?
William continued to glare at her, but his face was filled with dissatisfaction, showing that she was a traitor, and actually dared to bring him to the Police station.
Being stared at by his gaze, Alice turned and asked the policeman at the side, "May I ask where is the washroom?"
"Take the first left turn out of the corridor."
"Thank you."
Alice walked outside.
William sat there and stared at her, his gaze following her until she disappeared from his sight.
"Mr. Cullen, do you still remain silent?" The young policeman wiped his sweat and whispered, "Actually, this is just a small matter. You just have to say a few words and you can leave."
William hadn't said a single word since he came to the Police station.
William looked at him coldly. The thin lip remained silent and just sat there.
He looked at the door, and confirmed that Alice's figure was completely exposed. William's slender hand immediately pressed on his stomach, causing him to bend down in pain.
Damn it, it hurts again.
William bent down and used one hand to press down on his stomach, trying to suppress the pain. His pale face was covered in sweat as he stared at the ground. Pain.
William clenched his teeth, his hand firmly pressing on his stomach, and the pain made his face pale white. He sweated profusely, when a drop of sweat flowed from his forehead into his eyes, touching his long eyelashes and falling to the ground.
It seemed that tears had fallen.
She would rather feed the dustbin than give him a bite.Does she want to starve him to death? The woman was truly heartless.
"Ugh..."
William moaned in pain, and his mind went blank.
"Young Master!"
An anxious voice came from outside.
The people of Police station all turned their heads, and they saw a kind old man dressed in gentleman's clothes walking in majestically with a group of bodyguards.
The Police station seemed to have lost his decorum immediately.
Beside the old man was a young woman from a foreign country wearing a long skirt. She had long blonde hair, and her features were exquisite. Her eyes were blue like the ocean.
It was Mona.
The male police officers were all dumbfounded.
Mona entered and saw William sitting on the chair with his back bent. She worriedly walked forward and extended her hand to support him, "Are you alright, Mr. Cullen. What happened to you?"
Her voice was full of worry.
How did he become like this after not following him for so long?
William sat there and slowly raised his head. The paleness on his face frightened Mona.
"What's wrong with you?" Mona asked nervously.
"I want to go."
William stared at her with his black eyes as he spoke each word.
He could not let Alice see the pain in his stomach. He could not let Alice know that he had never eaten before, otherwise, otherwise all that he had done would be in vain.
He could not be with Alice in public, and he could not let Alice find any clues about him.
"Alright, let's go now." Mona hurriedly agreed as he turned around and looked at Daniel who was at the side, "Steward Daniel, Mr. Cullen and I will return first.
"Yes, Miss Mona."
Daniel nodded, and he had no objections.
Mona helped William stand up,and pushed him away but he said coldly, "There's no need for you."
William walked out, holding his stomach with one hand, and he walked forward with unsteady steps.
It was too painful.
The pain was so intense that it felt as if his entire stomach was being twisted. William walked outside step by step, trying his best to act like a normal person. Alice came out of the washroom, and used a tissue to wipe her hands. The moment she came out, she saw William and Mona's backs.
The two of them were walking further and further away.
One had a tall back while the other had a slim back that matched perfectly.
Alice stood there looking at them, and her body seemed to be frozen there. Suddenly, she saw Mona extending her hand and placing it on William's back, and William naturally put his hand on Mona's shoulder and hugged Mona as he left. The tissue in Alice's hand fell, and her heart sank along with it.
It was like sinking into a bottomless pit.
Alice bit down hard on her lips. Within a few seconds, she had tasted the smell of blood on her lips.
For the first time, she realized that the blood was bitter.
Too bitter.
The pain was unbearable.
She turned her gaze away and did not look at the two, instead, she walked into Police station's office. Bodyguard was standing by her side, upon seeing her, he respectfully called out, "Miss Clyne."
Daniel stood in the center of Police station's office and communicated with the police.
Seeing Alice coming over, Daniel smiled and nodded towards her, then said, "Miss Clyne, can you cancel your report?"
"Why?"
Alice asked expressionlessly. After seeing the scene just now, she was still numb to it.
"Young master is not an ordinary person after all. It's a small matter to have a criminal record like this, but if this were to spread, it would definitely not be a good thing. It would affect young master's reputation." Daniel said with a pleading tone.
If it was anyone else, Daniel would definitely have some way to make him withdraw, but facing Miss Clyne, Daniel felt a headache.
The matter of love reached the Police station.
It was not that peaceful between the Miss Clyne and the Young Master.
Alice lowered her eyes and pursed her lips, which were now a bloody red. She thought for a moment, then nodded her head, "Alright, I can withdraw it, as long as he doesn't appear in front of me again."
"I can't make an absolute guarantee on that."
Daniel was a little helpless. After all, he was just a butler.
"Alright then." Alice did not persist, and nodded her head, then turned to the police and said, "I will cancel the report."
She could not bear to see the troubled look on Steward Daniel's face.
"Alright."
The policeman nodded and then looked depressed. This was a joke on their police, reporting the case and then cancelling it.
"Is Miss Clyne doing well these two days? Is the baby healthy?"
Daniel stood at the side and waited for the police to settle the formalities, coldly asking Alice.
Alice nodded, and said indifferently, "Everything is going well, and I will be going to the hospital for an examination in the next two days."
She had thought of leaving and not staying in this city.
Not to mention other things, if no one else was around during her pregnant period, she would definitely be in a mess. She had to stay in the city, and only then would she have Anna and her husband to take care of her.
"Yes."
Daniel nodded.
After the procedures were completed, Alice left first. She even had to sign a secret agreement with the police to prevent them from revealing what happened today and protect William's reputation.
When Alice left the Police station, the moment she walked out of the main entrance, she saw William's car stopped there.
A Koenigsegg, an open sports car, is as sharp as him.
His favorite car.
William turned his back and sat in front of her, blocking her line of sight. She could not see William's face clearly, only that he was seated on the Driver.
Mona gave a piece of cake to William.
William extended his hand and caught it.
Alice looked at it quietly, and her eyes dimmed. The blood red on her lips became even more vibrant.
No matter how beautiful or dazzling that scene was, it had nothing to do with her.
Unable to bear it any longer, she turned around and walked to the side of the road. She hailed a taxi and left.
The taxi drove past that Koenigsegg. In that instant, Alice saw William, who was sitting on the Driver. He lowered his head slightly, and was biting onto a cake in her hands.
Mona sat there and said something to him.
They were like a pair of intimate lovers. If not, then they were already lovers.
The taxi moved quickly and in a second it was gone.
Alice retracted her gaze and lowered her head to look at her hands.
For a long time.
A drop of blood dripped onto her hand. She froze, realizing that she had bitten her lip and bled again. She reached for a tissue and wiped her mouth. The tissue was bright red.
Her lips hurt.
Then her heart would stop hurting and she would become numb.
The sky was clean and blue at noon.
William sat on the Driver and struggled to bite the cake in his mouth before swallowing it. Only when something came to his stomach did his stomach feel better.
Mona sat at the side and watched him with a pair of ocean blue eyes that were filled with worry and pain, "It's good enough to eat it. Mr. Cullen, you can't be like this in the future. What's the difference between being like you and being a hunger strike?
Seeing him like this, Mona also felt bad.
"I don't need you to care!"
William said coldly, his eyes gloomy.
If it weren't for the pain, he wouldn't have eaten the bread she handed him.
"I'm worried about you." Mona said, "Didn't you say that my role was to remind you? What I'm trying to remind you now is that you can't torture yourself for such a short period of time. Also, you said that you won't look for Alice, why did you do it today?"
She didn't even know that he had secretly gone to find Alice.
She did not wish for him to get entangled with Alice again.
"Shut up, it gives me a headache the moment you speak!"
William said gloomily, he took another bite of the cake, and felt that his stomach slowly recovered.
Why didn't he know that he couldn't go find Alice or get close to her?
However, this was something she could endure!
He couldn't help it.
He hadn't seen Alice in a few days, so he had to go take a look.
Hearing that, Mona shut his mouth, turned around and took a cup of water, and handed it over to him, with jealousy in her eyes.
She had never imagined that she would one day be so jealous of a commoner.
