Suddenly, he reached out and slowly pressed his hand to his chest. Then, he raised his hand. His finger was clean, without a single trace of blood.
Strange.
How could it be so painful if he wasn't hurt?
William was still lying on the massage chair, with glass fragments all over the floor.
Suddenly, William opened his eyes and stared straight ahead with his black eyes. He got up from the massage chair and walked out.
A servant bowed his head: "Young master."
William did not care about it, he pressed on the elevator and walked towards the first floor. The elevator door slowly opened in front of him, and William walked towards the kitchen.
"Hello, Young Master."
The chef and servants in the kitchen were preparing the ingredients. Seeing William suddenly come in, they all stood up and lowered their heads.
William acted as if he couldn't see them at all, stepping forward to open the refrigerator, he took out something from inside, smelled it once, then threw it away.
A moment later, the contents of the fridge were empty.
The chef and the servants looked at each other. None of them understood what William was trying to do.
William walked to the thermostat at the side and opened it. Usually, he would leave the dishes that Alice did not have time to eat at all in this place.
Not really.
It was empty.
William glared at the thermostat, then turned and opened a row of glass cabinets. He started rummaging through them.
There was a fresh row of bread and cakes in the cupboard.
William took out a box from inside and opened it.
It doesn't taste like this.
William immediately threw away the bread along with the box, then went to open the other box, smelled it, and then threw it away.
The floor of the kitchen was quickly turned into a mess.
"Young Master, what are you doing?" Daniel rushed over from outside. He tiptoed over to William's side and looked at him worriedly.
"Where is the cake Alice made? The cake she made was not always there. Who stole it? "
William bellowed in anger, and continued to rummage through the cupboard for cake boxes, smelled them once, and then threw them away, repeating the same action over and over again.
It wasn't made by Alice.
"A cake made by the Miss Clyne?" Daniel was startled, "Miss Clyne has not made cake for almost a week."
Hadn't the young master changed to eat the food made by Miss Mona?
"Impossible!" Alice has never stopped making things for me!"
William glared at him fiercely, and before he could even find the cake Alice made after flipping through all the things in the cabinet, he immediately got angry. He rushed in front of the chefs and grabbed onto one of the chefs, gripping his collar tightly with both of his hands, "Speak! Did you steal Alice's cake?"
"I didn't, young master." The cook was too frightened to speak properly.
"Impossible!" There's no shortage of cakes there, is there not you? Or you? You stole it?" William grabbed onto another chef fat head and stared at him sinisterly with his black eyes. The craziness in his eyes was as if he was about to kill someone, "You dare to steal my food? You're not giving up your life!"
With that, William smashed his fist into the man's stomach. It was a suicidal move.
Daniel stood at the side in shock, watching, no matter how angry the young master was in the past, he would never let out his anger, what was going on today?
"Mr. Cullen?"
Mona also came over after hearing the news. She stood at the entrance of the kitchen and listened for a while, then immediately went forward to hold William's hand. Her blue eyes looked at him worriedly: "Mr. Cullen, don't be like this.
"Scram!"
William pushed Mona away, and glared at her, "Scram!"
She reacted very quickly and was not angry. She said to William gently, "Mr. Cullen, I know that you are not in a good mood right now, but you have to know that you and Alice have already broken up with you."
Hearing this, William's black eyes froze.
Break up.
It had already broken up with him. Yes, he was the one who chased her away, Alice.
"Mr. Cullen, you just can't change your habits at the moment, it doesn't matter. You've been eating since I made your food last week, aren't you used to it?" Mona patiently said, "You just need to nurture a new habit."
William glared at her sinisterly.
"Mr. Cullen, it's useless for you to throw things around here. I know that you have to acknowledge my expertise." Mona said, her beautiful blue eyes staring at William's handsome face, "I will help you, once I cure your disease, you won't be in so much pain, trust me, okay?"
No pain.
These two words were extremely tempting to William as he stared at Mona. The hostility in his eyes slowly dissipated, and he walked out, "Prepare lunch for me!"
He was hungry.
When he was hungry, he would crazily miss Alice. However, he knew clearly that he couldn't be this crazy, he definitely couldn't be this crazy.
Hearing that, Mona's face revealed a smile, "Okay, Mr. Cullen, I will make it for you right away."
Mona immediately rushed to the front of flow table, cast a sidelong glance at the wolf cub on the ground and frowned, then spoke like she was his mistress, "Daniel, ask them to clean this place up."
"Yes, Miss Mona."
Daniel nodded respectfully, his old and handsome face still showing signs of confusion.
The young master did not seem to completely let go of Miss Clyne; then why did he break up just like that? What was going on? Could it be that there was another reason?
Mona put on her apron and started cooking.
In the past, someone had told her that she, the young miss of Lancaster family, would cook for a man.
But now, as long as it was a method to capture William's heart, she would try everything.
Alice had already left, so's heart would sooner or later be hers.
She wanted William, and she wanted this heart too!
Mona prepared a meal, the servant helped place the plate and was about to carry it away, when Mona looked at the servant unhappily, her voice was cold and her attitude arrogant, "No need, I will personally bring it over."
She wouldn't let go of any details that would warm a man.
"Yes, Miss Mona."
The servant silently withdrew.
Mona took off her apron, carried her plate and walked out, into the dining hall.
In the dining hall, William was sitting in front of a white dining table, his back straightened and his black eyes gloomy and expressionless, concealing many emotions.
His body emitted a cold and detached aura.
"Mr. Cullen." Mona walked over to him, with a gentle voice, she brought out the ingredients on her plate and placed them in front of William.
William stared at the dishes coldly, picked up his knife and fork, cut off a piece of the steak and placed it in his mouth.
It tasted like chewing wax.
It was awful.
Habits had to be changed, or else he would continue to suffer. His illness had made him extremely emotional. Anger was extreme anger, while pain was also extreme pain.
William chewed on the steak and swallowed it down. He felt the meat in his mouth was like a knife as it sliced through his throat and down to his stomach.
It was as if his entire body was bleeding, and the pain almost made his fingers tremble.
"When can this illness of mine be cured?"
William asked gloomily.
He had never cared about whether or not his paranoid personality disorder could be cured, but now he cared. He did not want this kind of pain that could destroy a person, absolutely not!
Sick?
Mona sat on his left-hand side as she looked at him intently with her blue eyes.
"As long as you are willing to heal and cooperate, you will be able to do so very quickly."
"Specific time."
William chewed on the steak in his mouth and said with a sharp voice.
"I don't know when exactly, but I can tell you something else." Mona sat beside him and turned to look at Daniel.
Daniel, who had been standing there the whole time received his gaze, and tactfully retreated, closing the door to the dining hall.
Only Mona and William were left in the dining hall.
William looked at her coldly, "Go on."
He had to know when he would not be in so much pain.
"Mr. Cullen, I know the real reason why you broke up with Alice, so I know how much pain you have, but please believe me, this pain will not last for long." Mona said seriously.
William listened coldly, his slender hands holding on to his knife and fork tightly, cutting the steak.
"To be honest, although I gave you the excuse of an emotional pet, but there is definitely a possibility." Mona said.
At the beginning, William could not separate his hands from Alice, and finally listened to her suggestion.
That made Alice think that he was almost completely cured, and that was why he had less need for emotional pet than usual. That was why they broke up, and also why she and William was intentionally getting closer to each other. Hearing that, the knife in William's hand fiercely slashed across the surface of the plate, his pair of black eyes staring coldly at her, "What did you say?"
"Huh?" Mona was bewildered.
She said something.
"What do you mean there is a possibility?" William stared at her and asked coldly.
"Oh, it's like this. I carefully studied it, and I feel that your feelings for Alice are indeed that of those towards the emotional pet. I didn't fake this fact, so Alice completely believed it." Mona said.
Alice was foolish enough to think that the paranoia would be easy to cure.
"Are you in a fantasy?"
William clenched his teeth and said it out loud.
How could his feelings towards Alice be that of an emotional pet!
"Mr. Cullen, you don't need to argue about this with me, a therapist. I have experience in love, I can tell you that normal people's relationship is definitely not as extreme as yours." Mona said professionally.
William tightly held onto his blade and fork.
"Even though your illness hasn't been completely cured, as long as you continue to treat it, the weight of Alice in your heart will become lighter and lighter. You will no longer feel pain for her, and you won't even think about her again." Mona consoled him, lowering her eyes to look at the steak on his plate, "It's just like food, don't you accept the food I cook now?"
It no longer accepted only Alice's.
His habits were changing. Everything would change for him.
"William glared at her fiercely, "Are you sure that once my illness is cured, I will forget about Alice?"
