âI want you to know that I'm never leaving
'Cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing
Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons
So come on, let's goâ

This was their first Christmas together, and they were determined to make it unforgettable.
The living room was filled with fairy lights, and boxes filled with decorations sat scattered on the carpet, waiting to be opened.
Shubman knelt beside one of the boxes and opened it, revealing an assortment of ornaments, ribbons, and baubles.
Ishan : yeh sab kitna sunder haii
*his eyes sparkling as he picked up a glittery red bauble.*
*Shubman smirked, leaning closer*
Shubman : jaise tu
*Ishan blushed, lightly hitting Shubmanâs arm.*
Ishan on the rug, opening the first boxs.
His eyes sparkled as he pulled out a tangle of golden lights.
Ishan : shubi yeh dekho
*holding them up like they were treasure*
Shubman, lounging on the couch with a mug of coffee, smirked.
Shubman : Woh uljhe lights tere haath me zyada sundar lag rahe hain.
*Ishan rolled his eyes*
Ishan : Mujhe pata hai, main sundar hoon. Tumhe kuch naya bolna chahiye
Shubman chuckled, setting his mug down and joining him on the floor
Shubman : Accha, toh ab yeh batau, tree kahaan rakhein?
Ishan : Yahin fireplace ke paas, Sabse achha lagega.
Shubman : fireplace ke pass? Aag lag gyi toh?
Ishan : usmeh tujhe fek dunga
As they worked together to set up the tree, Ishan struggled to push the heavy base into place.
Shubman : Arrey, mujhe karne do,
Ishan : main kar skta hu
Shubman effortlessly lifted the tree and set it straight.
Shubman :Huh spiderman aise hi nhi bolte--
Ishan : tum meh toh gorilla ki power haii
As they hung the ornaments, Shubman lifted Ishan to place the star on top of the tree.
Ishan : main gir gya toh?
Shubman : main pakad lunga... Kabhi girne nhi dunga-
Ishan : nhi mujhe barosha nhi
*he put a stool, before be could stand on it shubman pick him by his arms and place him on air front of tree top*
Shubman : laga de ab.
Ishan's cheeks flushed as he placed the star, and when Shubman gently set him back on the floor, he couldnât resist wrapping his arms around him in a quick hug.
Later, in the kitchen, they decided to bake a cake together.
Ishan stood at the counter, reading the recipe aloud.
Ishan : Yeh toh easy lagta hai.
Shubman : Tu banayega, toh zaroor kuch na kuch gadbad hoga
Ishan glared at him.
Ishan : Tum dekhna, best cake banega.
As they mixed the ingredients, Shubman deliberately flicked a little flour at Ishan.
Ishan : shubman!!
Ishan gasped, his nose now dusted with white powder.
Shubman : Ab toh tu snowman lag raha hai
Ishan : Achha? Ab tum bhi snowman ban jao!
Ishan said, grabbing a jar of flour and throwing it at Shubman.
Before they knew it, the kitchen turned into a warzone of flour and batter.
Ishan tried to dodge Shubmanâs attacks, but Shubman caught him, wrapping his arms around him.
Ishan : Ruk jao!!
Shubman : Nahi, pehle sorry bolo!
Shubman said, his hands still covered in flour.
Ishan : Sorry, sorry
Ishan said between giggles.
When the timer for the cake went off, they both froze.
Ishan : Umm, cake toh ban gaya
Ishan said, looking at the mess around them.
Shubman : Par kitchen toh barbaad ho gaya
They tasted the cake, and it was surprisingly delicious.
Ishan : Main bola tha, best cake banega
Shubman : Bilkul
Shubman said, wiping a bit of icing off Ishanâs lip and licking it off his own finger.
The clock struck ten, and the gentle snowfall outside beckoned them.
The world was quiet, the kind of stillness only winter could bring.
As if the earth was holding its breath.
Shubman grabbed Ishan's hand, tugging him toward the front door.
Shubman : Ishu chal na bahar chate hai snow dekhane
Ishan : Bahar? Itni thand hai, Shubman
Shubman : Bas ek baar aajaa. Tujhe pasand aayega
*Shubman said grabbing their scarves and jackets*
The cold air hit them as they stepped outside.
The snow crunching under their boots.
Ishan shivered, hugging himself.
Without a word, Shubman stepped closer and wrapped his own scarf around Ishanâs neck.
Shubman : Ab kaisa lag raha hai?
Ishan : thoda Theek
Ishan murmured, his cheeks already red.
partly from the cold and partly from the warmth of Shubmanâs gesture.
A soft melody began to play from the portable speaker Shubman had placed on the porch.
It was a slow, romantic tune, perfect for the moment.
Ishan : Shubman, tum yeh sab pehle se plan karte ho ya bas instinct se karte ho?
Shubman : Instinct, obviously. Main toh naturally romantic hoon
Shubman said with a wink, holding out his hands.
Ishan : Mujhe dance nahi aata, Shubii
Shubman : Toh kya hua? Main hoon na. Bas mere steps follow kar
Shubman said, stepping closer and placing his hands gently on Ishan's waist.
The first few moments were clumsy. Ishan kept stepping on Shubmanâs boots.
Ishan : Sorry, sorry
*he mumbled, laughing nervously.
Shubman chuckled*
Shubman : Tu tension mat le. Bas mujhe dekhta reh.
The music played on as they swayed together, their movements becoming more fluid.
Shubman spun Ishan gently, pulling him back into his arms.
The world around them faded, leaving only the sound of their laughter and the crunch of snow beneath their feet.
By the time they came back inside, their fingers were numb, and their cheeks were flushed from the cold.
Shubman lit the fireplace while Ishan made two mugs of hot chocolate, complete with tiny marshmallows.
They settled on the floor, wrapped in a single blanket.
Ishan : Yeh pehla Christmas hai, aur already lagta hai ki yeh best hai
Shubman : Best Christmas kyunki hum dono saath hain
They sat there for hours, sharing stories and dreams, their laughter mixing with the warmth of the fire.
When the clock struck midnight, Shubman pulled out a tiny gift from his pocket.
âa delicate silver braceletâ
Ishan : Mere liye?
Shubman : Haan. Pehla Christmas hai, toh gift toh banta hai
Shubman said, fastening it around Ishanâs wrist.
Ishan looked at it, then at Shubman, his eyes brimming with emotion.
Ishan : Thank you, Shubman. Yeh... perfect hai.
Shubman : tumhara sath sab perfect hai..
Shubman said, kissing his hand.
Ishan : per main toh tumhare liye koi gift nhi laya..
Shubman : tum sath ho bus.. Yeh sab se bara gift hai.
As the fire burned low and the snow fell silently outside.
They leaned into each other, content and happy.
It was their first Christmas together, filled with laughter, love, and promises of many more to come.
