Once again my eyes opened to a bright morning. The sun rays were peeping inside through the open window. A new day begins here and now it's time to leave. I freshened up and wore the already prepared trousers and shirt. I walked down the stairs to the dining room, where Howard was already ready and having his breakfast. The old lady was sipping on her tea as usual in her regular seat. I sat on the table with Mr. Howard and ordered bread butter and tea. A breakfast that would satisfies anyone's heart and appetite.
After breakfast we stood up, walked towards the reception and greeted the old lady
"Good morning, grandma. Here, the pay for my stay and food." I gave grandma 10 gold coins.
She was surprised seeing the large amount of money. She rejected the money "No my child you just have to pay 25 silver coin. Paying me 10 gold coins is too much.
I smiled and spoke "it is never more grandma; you gave me food, a place to stay and your love. I don't think I can ever put a value for the love and care you showed me. Please consider this as something a granddaughter would give her grandmother."
Though granny was hesitant she accepted the money. Howard also thanked her for the hospitality she showed.
After saying our goodbyes, we stepped outside. Howard went to the backyard to bring his carriage, while I ordered the guard to bring my horse.
While waiting for the horse and carriage granny whispered into my ear.
"You are a blessed child, please use the book and ring well. It is a very rare treasure."
I smiled and nodded.
Once Howard brought his carriage I told him, "you can leave your carriage her and I hope you know to ride a horse? Riding in carriage is time consuming. We could reach faster if we are on horse."
Howard agreed to my idea and we started our journey back to the capital on horseback.
Howard rode the horse excellently. The trip that would take several days on carriage shortened to three days and two nights.
If I was alone I could reach back within two days and a night as I could use the wind elemental power to ride faster, but with Howard accompanying me using wind element on both of us was not quite possible at my level of skill. Though I tried my best by practicing, I still lacked the years of practice other elementalist had.
We passed through fields, deserted cities, stalls, orphan children and many different places.
As we got closer to capital, the roads were wider and there were less poverty stricken households.
Finally we entered the manor. Seeing my face the guards let us in at once.
In the manor when Helen was entering Lusav who was training was informed by the maids.
Duke was outside for work while Jannat was cleaning Helen's room.
Lusav ran out at once to see his beloved master after days of waiting.
Helen and Lusav met on Helen's way to the main entrance [door].
Lusav who was panting and running towards Helen stopped as he saw Helen also halting her horse.
More than reunion of master and servant it felt like reunion of two friends who were apart for years.
Lusav's blue eyes were tearing up seeing his master safe and healthy. They glittered like the blue ocean and his tears were like sapphire jewels.
All the worries he had about Helen visiting the magical forest was now been expressed through his tears.
I got down from the horse, and walked towards Lusav who was tearing up like a baby seeing his mother after first day of school.
I wiped his tears with my fingers and whispered into his ears holding his hands "I am back Lusav."
Helen's words were like sweet honey to him, the feelings he felt towards Helen was not something that could have been described in few words. Helen smiled gently while Lusav burst out into tears in relief of his master's return.
Howard, who was following behind Helen, got down from his horse and stood far so as to not disturb their reunion.
Lusav who had not spoken yet, started to speak. He was choking as tears were flowing
"Master, I was worried about you. I am glad, glad that you are back. I knew you are strong, but still I was scared of losing you." His eyes were red and face was wet with tears.
I did not know how to comfort a crying child; I hugged him and patted on his back. I assured him again and again saying.
"I am back safely Lusav. I won't abandon you my dear servant." These words that drew a line between Helen and Lusav as a master and servant still comforted him.
Helen held on to Lusav's hand and walked rest of the way to the main entrance [door] with him, while Howard and another knights took the horse to its stable.
