"So you really think she's gonna come back to you?" Stiles asked as they all climbed out of his Jeep. Tomorrow was her last day in town for the summer meaning she was spending the day saying goodbye to her friends and packing. She currently was with Dumb and Dummer at the lacrosse field after Stiles declared that he was going to make first line next year and no one was going to stop him. In fact the pair had to help so their sushi plans got switched for hanging out here.

"Yeah, I know she is." Scott replied making her force back rolling her eyes, Scott glanced at the girl giving her a look that told her not to bring up the Argent girls acts from this week. Scott had already heard Melody rant enough about her.

"What about you and Lydia?" He said looking back to his friend after Mel snorted at him in laughter.

"Ah. Well, the 10 - year plan for making Lydia fall in love with me may have to stretch to 15, but the plan is definitely still in motion." Stiles announced.

"Why don't you just ask her out?" Scott asked

"You know you could grow your hair out, that would help." Melody pointed out after Scotts comment.

"Yeah, okay. Why don't you just get into the goal and help me make team captain like you promised there, big guy. Melody you make sure he doesn't cheat."

"Hey, you know what I just realized? I'm right back where I started." Scott said walking to the goal.

"What do you mean?" Stiles furrowed his brows at his friend.

"I mean no lacrosse, no popularity, no girlfriend. Nothing." Scott realized

"Dude, you still got me." Stiles retorted

"I had you before." Scott pointed out.

"Plus me, I'm not going anywhere." Melody chuckled making them both look to the girl that was leaning on Stiles jeep.

"You leaving all summer, that's going somewhere." Stiles retorted point blank at her making her smile at her dorky friends.

"It's two months." She replied

"All summer Melody. All Summer." Stiles corrected her making her raise her hands in defeat.

Mel snorted. She would've never believed herself if the girl who had to pick up everything she loved to move here would actually find friends. Friends she actually was kinda sad about leaving for two months.

"I'll be back, who's gonna keep you two out of Juvy if I'm not here?" She grinned.

"Good Point." Scott laughed.

"Yeah, and you still got me. Okay? It's a life fulfilled." Stiles exclaimed throwing his hands out wide with a grin.

"Very." The wolf smiled.

"Now remember, no wolf powers." Stiles told his friend flatly.

"Got it." he nodded lifting his lacrosse stick.

"I got my eyes on you Scottie." Melody narrowed her eyes at him.

"No, I mean it. No super fast reflexes, no super eyesight, no hearing - none of that crap, okay?" Stiles exclaimed pointing at Scott.

" Okay. Come on." Scott nodded to the boy to throw the ball.

Stiles went to throw but stopped short eyeing his friend. "You promise?"

"Would you just take the shot already?" Scott groaned.

" I said no wolf powers!" Stiles exclaimed seeing Scotts eyes glow as Melody died in laughter clutching her stomach.

Mel took a deep breath bracing herself before she walked into the abandon train station to say goodbye to the pack.

Apparently Derek had closed on a loft in town that was actually livable for him and Issac. She was glad the pair finally felt safe enough to live out in the open now that most of the hunters left town. According to Scott, Allison and her father were leaving for France and the rest had completely left the town behind.

"Derek? Issac?" Melody yelled not seeing them as she walked in.

"Comin' " Dereks voice yelled before he appeared walking out of a part of the train.

"Hey Melody." He smiled making his eyes shine.

"Hey, So I heard the good news. Finally getting a place hey?"

"Yeah, figured it was time. Issac!" Derek yelled at the boy.

"So I hear you're heading back home for the summer break." Derek said when Issac walked out seeing the girl.

"Yeah I am, Its only two months though, I'll be back in no time." She replied before looking to Issac who was looking perfectly fine unlike the last time they saw each other.

"You're all healed up then?" Melody asked looking over Issac.

"Yeah." Issac replied softly.

"So you're really leaving then?" He asked locking eyes with her and Melody couldn't help but notice how sad he looked.

"It's not really my choice but yeah, I miss home. I got an earful from dumb and dummer. But I'll be back soon. Two months is nothing." Melody smiled at the boy, she couldn't help but feel awkward as she stood there. Issac didn't seem to care much about her leaving or was it the opposite?

"Well have fun." Issac sighed making her furrow her brows.

"Why does that sound like you're upset?" Melody questioned the boy,

"I'm not." Issac retorted shoving his hands in his pockets harshly. For some reason the boys scoff felt more like a punched to the gut than anything else.

"Uh-okay. Well-uh- you can text me if you want but I'll see you in the fall then." Melody replied nervously frowning at the boy before turning to walk away giving a small forced smile to Derek walking to her car.

To say Melody was confused was an understatement, two days ago the boy was holding her while she cried, holding hands with her and she even got the confidence to kiss the idiot. Now the boy was barely looking at her? Did she read the signs wrong or did she do something wrong?

Or Maybe the boy finally realized she was a freak.

And freaks never get the boy.

"What the hell was that for?" Derek asked when he heard the girls car drive away.

"You said an Alpha pack was coming. That- will keep her away and safe."  Issac snapped back walking away.

"I told you not to hurt her." Derek exclaimed walking behind him.

"She's better off this way Derek. When we deal with this and find Erica and Boyd, I'll fix it."

Melody stood at the terminal with her bags in hand as Galen squeezed her in a long hug.

"You better text me all the time and call every other day okay? ill send some money for allowance too. Just behave, stay safe and most importantly have fun. Going back might be hard but focus on your friends and the band okay?" Galen sighed pulling back to look at his niece, the pair had dropped Rain off yesterday morning since she had a longer flight.

"I will and I know, Thank you." Melody smiled softly back when Galen squeezed her again.

"Love you kid."

"I'll be back in no time plus you're gonna be working so much you won't even realize we're gone."

"I'll realize but that's okay. I think you need this." Her uncle nodded grabbing her carry on bag to help her as the announcement came that boarding was starting.

"Love you too Galen." Melody hugged the man and grabbed her bags before heading to the door.

Melody knew one thing for sure as she stepped on the plane, she wasn't coming back unprepared for Beacon Hills trouble like last time.

She had two months out of town, and like hell she wouldn't use that to train.

But she was sure her friends would make sure the girl had lots of fun as well.
