Chapter 48

"Everyone who would like their freedom back. Any moment from now, some of the cells will be opened. Those chosen to escape prepare for a battle. At the center of the arena there will be two girls that will help you. Go to them and assist them with everything you got." Rose announced and just after her last word, Dahyun entered the codes directly to the cage control room.

The collars started dropping on the ground. The blaring sound of the sirens echoes all over the facility. The metal doors of the cells started opening. Sana and Nayeon is already waiting at the main arena. Where the kids must pass through in order to escape.

A group of people in black clothes started entering the arena. Their composure is calm and intimidating. Their eyes glowing in red and excitement. Nayeon and Sana are surprised to see familiar faces.

"I wondered who caused trouble here but it was only you guys." A woman smiled on Nayeon.

"Minyoung you're still alive." Nayeon doesn't know what to feel now. Will she be happy to see her or not. Meanwhile, Sana is in dilemma.

"Eunha you didn't escape?" She could feel her hand trembling. The small girl nodded and softly smiled to her.

"Yeah... how are you Satang?"

Sana could feel the guilt burying itself in her gut again. Her first love is in front of her, the reason she felt miserable leaving the place all along.

"I am fine. So you became his guard."

"and you became our enemy."

She suddenly want to see Dahyun at the moment and calm herself. She doubted to stay focused in fighting if its against her. Nayeon turned around them to see the kid behind them walking together. Seeing them gives her strength.

"Are you the two girls..." One of the kids trailed off.

"Yes it's us. Let's get you guys out of here but first we need to pass them." Nayeon pointed at the three girl and two boys on the exit.

"We will try our best to assist you unnies." Another kid says. Her eyes changes into red along with the other kids. Their eyes turning black with red irises. Different kind of tails came out on their lower back. Sana could feel at ease seeing they outnumbered the guards.

"Nayeon unnie you take Eunha. I'll go with your friend. How's that?" Sana suggested.

"Great. Don't hold back." Nayen take a stance to attack.

"That's what I'm planning to do." Sana took out her twin guns and pointed it on the enemies.

A monotonous voice echoes in the whole facility.

Intruders detected. Rebooting the cage in fifteen minutes. Prepare for a lockdown.

Just in time the three girls arrived in five minutes. Jeong can finally breathe after safely stepping out of the car. Chaeyoung looked at her weirdly.

"Are you okay bro?" She asked in concern.

"She's fine. Just overwhelmed with my amazing driving skills." Momo answered for her. Jihyo could imagine why the older girl looks like she was traumatized.

"Anyways, good to have you back." Jihyo turned to the woman with a wide smile.

"I should be thanking you." The girl acted like she was really touched and wiping the unseen tears.

"No need  to thank me." Jihyo laughed seeing the girl look so well now. "Let's go inside now."

"Oh right."

"Jeong and Tzuyu go give Nayeon and Sana the new remodeled gauntlet and shotgun." Jihyo proceed to tell them what to do. Momo handed the two cases on Jeongyeon and Tzuyu.

"You two come with me." She turned to the two maknaes.

"Ne." They answered in union.

"Now I'll be sending you three inside." She instructed the three of them to position themselves in front of her. As long as she can see them then she use her power.

"Please be careful unnie." Tzuyu looked  at the leader with worried eyes. Jihyo smiled to her and nodded.

"Don't worry about me. Now close your eyes." Just as they closed their eyes. The three girls vanished into thin air. Jihyo teleported them in the cage instantly.

"Woah so that's how you saved me." The red eyed girl gawk in amazement. It's her first time seeing someone with that power.

"Yes and I can only use it three times a day." Jihyo answered and turned to them. Chaeyoung is worried for her unnie. If she were to go pass her limit, her life might be in danger.

"Unnie don't overwork yourself." She reminded.

"Of course." She winked but Chaeyoung knows better what's behind those smiles but before she could say anything, Jihyo transported them inside.

"Wai-!"

Nayeon used her force in her feet to jump high successfully avoiding Eunha's attack. Fighting against Akira before made her aware what danger there is in those sharp tails.

"You're quite flexible." Eunha commented.

"Ani. You're just slow." She smirked and launched another punch that made the girl flew meters away. But she did not see the upcoming attack in her right.

"Yah how dare you hit her." A woman taller than her made a surprise attack and kicked her side so hard that she felt her ribs made a crack. Nayeon winced in pain. The rest of the kids is fighting against the two males. Sana saw Nayeon is in trouble and shoot towards her direction to let the taller girl back away.

"Where are you aiming at?" Minyoung with a great speed aimed at Sana's neck.

"Sana behind you!" Nayeon shouted. Sana tried to avoid the attack but it's too late.

"Shit! That's a close one. Thank you Yeri!" Sana turned to her life saver. One of the kids that has been supporting her managed to block the attack for her.

"No problem unnie. I have your back." The kid smuggly smiled. She and her friend made a brief introduction just minutes ago. Since they looked like they are the leaders of the pack and can fight, Nayeon and Sana made them their support. They can also defend themselves and the group which is a great help.

"Aish here she goes with her boasting." The other kid named Joy snickered beside her friend. The fight continued. Nayeon has to struggle with her slow healing ribs. She have to fight against two girl with insane teamwork. Another thing she has to take care along with Sana is the kids who's fighting those men.

The kids might have an exceptional ability but they're still not that good with controlling it. Yeri and Joy are the only kids who can manage on their own but some are just afraid to land an attack. Loses is hard to avoid too.

Sana tried to save that one kid that one man tried to attack but failed with a seconds difference. The man made a whole on that child's chest. Sana and Nayeon felt a surge of anger seeing the merciless kill. In Sana's signal, Nayeon made a leap to that man. Sana cleared her path by shooting those who will potentially stop her.

"Let's aim for the head shall we?" Nayeon's boots is made of metal and the sharp edge is like a blade. Joy hold the man's tails while Yeri assisted with holding him down body. Nayeon made a round kick aiming to his neck that completely made it detached and flew meters away.

"You bitch!" The other man goes in berserk seeing his comrade beheaded in front of him and tried to attack Nayeon only to back down with Sana's bullets. Those hot weird bullets he don't know what is made of.

"Nayeonie became stronger." Minyoung praised. Nayeon stayed stoic. The woman who has the same face of her best friend felt so different and familiar at the same time. Nayeon signaled for Joy to go along with the other kids.

"But unnie-"

"Get the weaker kids who can't really fight  away first then you can come back to help. We can't have many bloodsheds here. It must only come from the enemies." She whispered. Joy nodded and turned to Yeri and the trembling kids. The entrance is guarded by normal guards. They can somehow do something about it.

"Sana take Minyoung and that annoying giraffe." Nayeon tried to avoid the continues attack from the man again. He moves like a monkey and his attacks is really hard to predict.

"Copy!" Sana took out her sword behind her. Long range won't give her too much of advantage that's why Jihyo made her train with a sword. With her enhanced vision, everything fast can go into a slowmo. Bullets won't be good with her as she can see the trajectory of every attack. A smile tugs in her lips. Minyoung attacked  again but this time, she can slice through her tails.

"How did you-"

"Oh sorry to tell you but this sword is specially made for monsters like you." She smirked, as her eyes glow in flickers of blue. Just as they will start the clash again, help came.

"We are here!!!" Momo announced along with the other two girls. The enemies backed away in caution seeing the new comers.

"Yah! Don't meddle with our fight" Sana complained. Tzuyu ignored her and started walking on the side. Jeong also ran towards Nayeon with the case.

"Sana here!" Momo throws to her another case. She catches it and just like that the place was engulfed with fog.

"Welcome to the real fight!" Momo happily shouted and Sana immediately opened the case and saw glasses and a new shotgun. Yeokshi, Yoda and Momoring is the best. She wears it without asking any questions. Meanwhile, Nayeon received a gauntlet.

"Why are you here?" Jeongyeon helped her to wear the new weapon made solely for her. It utilizes the force and triples the effect.

"To help obviously."

"Yah you can't even fight what help-"

"Aish stop nagging and fight." Jeong finished by locking the gauntlets securely in Nayeon's hands. She took out the glasses too and let Nayeon wears it.

"What the hell is thi- woah" Nayeon gawked in amazement when she could clearly see within the fog.

"Ne. I will go with Tzuyu now. Finish this immediately." Jeong kissed her forehead before leaving the dazed Nayeon in her place. Everything happened too fast for her. They just appeared and then a fog came along with new weapons. Like... a plan already made way before everything.

"Yah! who's wife do you think you are!" She shouted when she recovered from her trance.

"Thanos!" Jeong shouted back just before she disappeared along with the other two to the control room.

"Aigoo stop flirting." Sana deadpan.

Mina continued to avoid the attacks. She admits the kid is indeed strong. She managed to finally hit her on her stomach. Mina flew against the wall making the concrete crack. The pain is there but she gritted her teeth and spat out blood.

"Does it hurt?" The child looked at her playfully. She looked like she's  not even tired from the constant attacks. The walls and the floor that made contact with her fist made a dent to it. The room looks like there's a war happening inside.

"So that's how much your punch feels like." Mina smiled and seconds later her wound heals.

"Would you like another-" The kid smiles but stopped midway by Mina's punch. The same place she was hit but the invincible tails managed to block it. Still that didn't stop her to make slide meters away.

"Let's stop with the warm up." Mina smirked and launched another attack. She's getting excited with every attacks. Something sinister is building up inside her. How will she kill the kid in a very brutal way makes her anticipate.

...

"So that's the room?" Chaeyoung pointed at the red door. She could feel a very menacing aura just from outside. Jihyo nodded in confirmation. Akira smiled and excitedly opened the door. They 're met with a war zone room. The walls are cracked even the floor.

"What the hell..." Chaeyoung is beyond surprised. If the fight was really caused by two girl or a giant itself. On the corner of the room is Mina and the other Mina fighting neck to neck but looking closely, Mina is in disadvantage. She got few dry bloods from injuries that looked like already healed up and the kid seems to be very fine and  clean.

They have sinister smiles in their faces as if they enjoyed whatever they are doing. Chaeyoung shivers from the scene, even the air around them is so dense that it made her believe it is hard to breathe. They didn't notice the newcomers because they are so immersed with the fight. Just as they are going for another clash, Akira joined them and get in the middle.

"Nee you are having all the fun without me." Akira pouted and ignored the kid on the other end. Mina weirdly stared at her. She look so confused seeing the girl.

Isn't she dead?
