Chapter 47

It was nighttime, the facility is quiet and the guards roaming around the hallways. The kids are in their own cells, either sleeping or awake. Jisoo lead them to her room.

"Ohh that was fast." A woman with wavy hair and aussie accent welcomed them. She's sitting at the sofa with a book in hand. Jisoo let out a sigh when she sees her, while the other three is staring at the stranger cluelessly.

"Tch. Those guards are afraid to offend me. What do you really expect?" Jisoo smirked to her and the woman pouted.

"No fun. I thought you'll be having a hard time." She sighed. Jisoo smacked her arm and snorted.

"Uhmm who is she?" Nayeon looked at Jisoo and the mysterious person, back and forth.

"Ahh you can call her Rose. She's the one who helped me to snuck in your datas in the system." Jisoo crossed her arms and smiled introducing her friend. Rose stood up and slightly bowed in courtesy.

"Hi I'm Park Chaeyoung but just call me Rose." Mina, Nayeon and Sana, the four of them took a brief introduction with the squirrel.

"She's a normal scientist?" Sana asked looking at Rose.

"Yeah I'm human. Well, we all are but you know what I mean. The only thing we can help you with is entering and planting the bombs but about fighting, we can't help you with that." Rose smiled sheepishly.

"It's fine we can do something about fighting." Mina looked at her coldly. Rose felt shivers on her spine. It's like death itself is staring at her. So she's the real one. No wonder.

"You sure you can?" Jisoo looked at her in contemplation. She heard from Jihyo that the girl can't use her full power at the moment. She don't know how that cunning person thinks but sending someone to fight without proper card against that kid is a suicide. She knew better since she's been by her side since that night.

"Maybe I don't have my real strength but I am not that weak Jisoo-ssi." Mina's stare is determined. Jisoo wondered what's behind with that look. She knew the real Mina is deprived from feeling emotions or affection but after knowing she has someone like Chaeyoung, her thought changed. Maybe her sister has chance to change too.

"Rose it's been a long time." Chaeyeon smiled to the woman. Rose returned the gesture.

"Never thought of seeing you again." Rose crossed her arms seeing her friend for a long time.

"Nah I'm hard to get ride." Chaeyeon smirked and the two of them high fived. Mina stared at them blankly.

"Can't we continue the reunion later?" She coldly spoke and it made all the other girls stop. Jisoo blinked for a second and then clap her hands.

"Okay! Let's go."

Jisoo started distributing the bomb throughout the place with Chaeyeon's help. Mina headed to the main room with Nayeon and Sana beside her. The main room is where the head and every important files kept. It is where the president, the brain of everything could be at the moment. The place is buged and they can't access whatever is inside. She has to kill him and burn everything inside.

"Turn to the right." Sana is guiding them where to go. Mina took a few steps to the right corridor but she felt a sudden rush of cold air. She stopped immediately, making the other two stop too.

"We can't go this way." She whispered to them.

"Wae?" Sana is confused. She can clearly see the corridor empty at the moment and no one seems to be moving around.

"She can detect us if we come this way and I hate her smell." She frowned and that was enough for the girls to believe her. Sana tried for another way, only to find out that was the only way to the main room.

"What should we do now?" Nayeon bit her lower lips in trouble.

"How about we cause havoc?" Sana suggested.

"How?"

"Breaking free the prisoners. " Mina answered.

"Won't that cause more attraction?"

"It'll be fine. Since I am already here, I will go inside. You two will take care of the prisoners with Rose. She can do something about it." Mina sighed and click her tongue. She knew she has to face her clone sooner or later, delaying won't change anything.

"We can't let you alone." Sana shook her head in refusal.

"I can't fight and protect someone at the same time." Mina spoke honestly. Sana bit her lips and turned to Nayeon. Sure, they don't match with that kid but Mina isn't one that can fight her in all fairness in strength too. But Nayeon remembered what Jihyo secretly told her.

"Follow whatever Mina says. Everything will go according to plan."

Sighing in defeat, she patted Sana's shoulder and signaled her to just go. Sana nodded and understood what they have to do.

"Be careful. We will head back after we take care of the cage."

Chaeyeon planted another bomb in the main system's machine. They're now at in the mother room. Jisoo managed to slip them inside with the executive card. It was fake, made by Sakura and Dahyun.

"Everything was done. What about Rose?" Chaeyeon asked the woman beside her.

"She's in the cage control room. We can't just free the prisoners. It'll be useless if they still have their collars." Jisoo stared at the towering height of the mother machine. This is where every datas about the cage from the past ten years reside. Destroying it is like killing the cage itself but before that they have to free the prisoners or they will die along with the system.

"But those prisoners... are they safe to let go?" Chaeyeon knew there are vicious murderers in them, some with different dark personality.

"If you are worried about that, we made a list of prisoners with potential of goodness in them." She smiled. Her eyes reflecting a genuine satisfaction.

"So you are planning about this all this time right?" Chaeyeon looked up at the glowing machine in front of them.

"I am. I'm just waiting for the right time. I can't bare to see children being killed and fight for their innocent lives anymore."

"That devil professor should be punished with many deaths."

"You wouldn't believe how many times I killed him in my mind." She gritted her teeth remembering the devil man's face.

"We should've share our thoughts about that then." Chaeyeon smirked and turned to Jisoo.

"Nah bloody and gore it is."

Rose successfully inserted the flash drive in the cage control room. The night is deep and she managed to bribe her way in with the night shift. All the monitors shows different prisons and she has the room all by herself.

"Okay let's do this." She wears her glassed and started typing in the computer. The virus is being uploaded at the moment. It was Dahyun's A. I. Tofu. The transfer isn't long and the system managed to break inside without alarming the firewall.

"Yo!" Dahyun suddenly, came up in the scene.

"Are you that hacker Jisoo mentioned?" Rose asked with an amazed tone her voice.

"The one and only Dahyun. Let me do the work from here onwards." She smiled, while still having her lollipop in her mouth. Eyes glowing in intense blue that reflected the numerous green numbers in the monitor. Rose could hear the typing of keyboard in a very fast pace.

"I will leave the job to you." Rose sighed in content and leaned to the chair.

"Also, Sana and Nayeon is on their way there too." Dahyun said it without peeling her eyes from the monitor.

"Eh? Why?"

"They will help dealing with the security after the release is done."

"Will that be needed? Those kids can kill normal people instantly." Rose crossed her arms.

"Hmm but did you forgot about those 'special' security?" Dahyun mentioned the security the president formed himself to protect the cage. Rose was hit with realization. Those people like Chaeyeon and Akira.

"Ohh right I forgot about them."

"It'll be hard to deal with but we outnumbered them somehow with the prisoners on our side." Sakura joined the conversation and popped out on the screen. The only difference between the two is their eyes. If the one is blue, the other one is in red.

"The hacking will be finished in ten minutes. Prepare for a speech to convince them." Sakura added.

"Why me?!"

"Just because." Dahyun simply shrug and Sakura chuckled. Rose wanted to roll her eyes. They just want me to do the talking.

"Ugh fine."

Mina started walking on the hallway with red lights. The air around her is eerie and dense. It's like any moment someone will pop out and grab her neck. She activated her ability without even realizing. On the end of the hallway is a red room. A name carved japanese. 'Akuma'

"She calls herself that." Mina snorted and proceed to hold the door knob. The cold metal made contact to her skin. She tilt and pushed the door open, revealing a dark room. A mush colder air welcomes her.

"What took you so long?" The kid stood at the far end with her glowing eyes showing in the dark. Adjusting her eyes sight, Mina can clearly see in the dark now. The place is huge and the ceiling is high. Mina could guess this is the kid's playground. Looking at the door behind the kid is a white door.

"Do I have to come here fast?" Mina replied with the same intensity. She stepped inside and  the door automatically closed. The child who has her features smiled grimly. Her eyes glowing in purple.

"Not really but it's annoying to wait."

Mina tilted her head in amusement. She can feel herself getting excited. The same excitement she feels when she wanted to kill someone. Being with Chaeyoung made her forgot the feeling for a short time. It's somehow refreshing for her.

"Let's do some warm up's unnie." The child smiled and disappeared. Mina closes her eyes.

"So this is warm up for you." Mina dodged the attack on her head by ducking down.

"I won't kill you easily. There's no fun on it." She tried to attack again by kicking her way down. Mina rolled on the side and easily avoided the attack. The floor that made contact with the kid's feet, made a hole in it.

"You really are the real one."

"and you're just a clone. What makes you think you can defeat me?"

Chaeyoung is pacing back in fort in anxiety. She's waiting for Jihyo's go signal. It was until she heard a loud alarm coming from the facility.

"What happened?" She approached Dahyun and Sakura.

"The prisoners are free. The cage is in riot." She answered with a wide grin on her face. Chaeyoung turned to the monitor. Indeed, the place is blaring in red alarm.

"Captain, the cage will be in automatic lock down five minutes." Dahyun turned to Jihyo.

"Okay. Chaeyoung come with me. Tzuyu call them. Dahyun how much time can you hold the lockdown?" She's biting her thumb nail while still thinking. Her eyes in blue and anxiety.

"I think I can hold up for fifteen in maximum."

"Tzuyu?"

"They'll be here in five."

"Good!" Jihyo nodded hearing the good news. Chaeyoung could feel her own heartbeat going off from the nervousness.

"We are entering the cage in five minutes. Dahyun and Sakura we'll be counting on you guys." She patted both the hacker's shoulder.

"Okay captain."

"Momo can you slow down? Your driving makes me sick!" Jeong complained and hold her breath. Momo only smiled crazily.

"Does it makes you sick?" She turned to the woman beside her.

"Ani! It's great!"

"Yah you too?! aish" Jeong is left with only a sigh and prayer for her life. She could feel the car flying from the high speed.

"Come on Jeongie it's thrilling!"

"Oh God."

"Why are you calling the captain?" Momo laughed and stepped on the accelerator again. Jeong closed her eyes and breathe deeply hoping to arrive immediately.

I might die here before going there.
