Chapter 46

"Spare my sister."

After saying her condition, Jeong frowned. The girls who was also listening to the conversation is stunned.

"Who is your sister?"

Jisoo let out a sigh. This is a gamble for her too because there is a great chance of rejection.

"Hime. The little Mina."

"Is she insane?" Chaeyeon stood up from her seat when she heard the name. Jihyo stopped her immediately with a comforting pat.

"Tell her about Aki." Jihyo instructed to Jeong.

"But that child killed our friend." Jeong maintained her expression. She herself felt agitated from the condition. Who wouldn't?

"I know but that-"

"You know but you still insist. Did you not think that we are doing this to mainly avenge her?" Jeong is at her limit. She knew this is a important negotiation but if her friend's death will be ridiculed and brushed off then there's no point of begging for help.

"I'm sorry but that kid is only a victim too. She's just following orders."

"That won't take the fact that she killed our friend!" Jeong hissed.

Jisoo lowered her gaze. She knew her condition is hard to accept and might be impossible to be agreed with but she can't give up on the child she brought up herself.

On the other hand, Jihyo and Chaeyoung is silently contemplating. They know what happened and might will happen if they were to agree. It's a risk but they don't have much a choice for now. Based on that masked person's words, Chaeyoung can give her trust. After all, she knew who that person is more than anyone.

"Jeong agree to it." Jihyo finally decided.

"But captain!"

"Do it. We can do something about that after we finish the organization." Jihyo sighed. All the planning and anxiety is getting into her. She have many things to consider and think about.

It took Jeongyeon a good minute to calm herself. She does not know what is in their captain's mind but she have to trust her.

"We agreed."

Jisoo frowned. She did not expect them to agree that fast. She thought she has to give them more to be convinced. But that doesn't mean she's not happy with their decision.

"Tell us how we will enter the cage."

Chaeyoung is silently stirring her coffee. Her thoughts away from her place. She's worried and anxious of the infiltration that will happen tomorrow. She have to get a good measure based on the plan. Considering what the informant said, it is a big risk and bloody.

"Where is Mina?" Jihyo came behind her with an empty mug in hand. She turned around to see a pale complexion from the older girl.

"Mina is with Momo unnie." She answered and then her gaze softened. "Unnie you don't look good." She worriedly said.

"I know and I know that you knew about the plan I decided on my own." Jihyo smiled to her. Chaeyoung pursed her lips. It's as expected from the great captain of them.

"Unnie thank you."

"About what?"

"For sending her." Chaeyoung lowered her gaze. She should be thankful and smile but she can't thinking that it made Jihyo weaker. She already have a short time but she still save her.

"Hmm but why do you look so sad? I thought you'll be happy." She chuckled.

"But what you did is shortening your life unnie." She sadly sighed thinking how much could the older girl sacrifice for them.

"It's all worth it. Akira is my friend and part of the group. I can't just stand knowing she will die." She approached Chaeyoung and patted her head. "Aigoo stop thinking too much. Your unnie will be fine."

"You won't be fine and we both know that." Jihyo sighed and holds Chaeyoung's in both shoulders to face her formally.

"Hey what exactly did that raccoon told you?"

Flashback

She heard a chuckle coming from the door.

"Do you really think I'll let her die?" Momo stood there with a smirk.

"Why you didn't tell us? why did you lie?" Chaeyoung squinted her eyes. Momo shrugged.

"It wasn't my plan. Captain ordered me to wait for the right time to inject the antidote and act like I didn't know." She winked and Chaeyoung blinked in astonishment.

"Where is Jihy-"

"Don't disturb her. She's resting." Momo crossed her arms and approached her. Chaeyoung huffed in annoyance from the fact that they just cried like a fool hours ago.

"I didn't know you two can act." She deadpan. Momo laughed on her remarks.

"Oh come on. Mina can, why can't we? Besides you should know since you've been together for how many years."

"How could I know that Jihyo unnie was this cunning and manipulative."

"Captain won't be our captain if she don't have her own measures on what will happen. Aside from taking down the organization, her top priority is our safety." Momo let out a sigh. She herself is tired from being under the palms of that woman.

"Do you have any more secrets?" Chae eyed her suspiciously. Momo thought for a moment.

"Hmm you do know what is her power right?"

Chaeyoung nodded.

"Di she told you that they came from the same research facility and experimented together with Mina? Based on my knowledge, just like Mina she have multiple abilities. Only that she was restricted by her powers." Momo explained. She raised five fingers. "But she can only use five of it. Getting more than that will cause her head to overload and die just like yours."

"If she have such ability... why do this?" Jihyo unnie sounds so strong from Momo's words.

"Her ability to see the future has one rule to it." Momo stared at her eyes directly. Her tone serious and frank. "Don't change what the future says or her life span will be reduced by five years."

"What?! how could that be? I mean isn't that unscientific?"

Momo leaned on the table and pursed her lips. She herself don't know how could such thing applied on her case.

"I don't know. Maybe it is psychological or whatever. I'm not surprised though. If they can make humans with monsterous abilities then surely weaknesses like that isn't impossible. I mean Akira can grow tails you know."

"Well if you put it that way.." It wasn't so impossible but why do I feel like there is something off?

"Anyway, don't tell anyone, even Mina okay?"

Chaeyoung nodded. She's still clueless in what Jihyo is planning but she decided to trust her.

and yes the masked person is her Momo unnie. She wanted to talk to Jihyo yesterday about the matter but she just can't have the chance. Mina stayed with her like almost every time.

"So she said that?"

Chaeyoung nodded after confessing what her and Momo talked about. Jihyo nodded to herself with a small smile on her lips. She look calm and deep in thoughts.

"I think this is a great chance to tell you the real plan." She smiled. Chaeyoung frowned, so there's another plan besides what the team agreed about.

"Real plan? What are you saying? Is the first one fake?"

"No it's not fake but this plan is only for greater measures."

"What is it?"

"Return Mina's memory to her."

Chaeyoung blinked. Did she heard it wrong?

"What are you saying unnie? You are the one who told me to-"

"I know and that is true." She sighed. Chaeyoung keep mum and decided to listen first. When Jihyo got her signal to continue she sighed again.

"To make sure to win, we have to unleash her real potential." She said without meeting the confused eyes of Chaeyoung.

"But that is danger-"

"I know. I'll explain it to you. Let's talk in my room, Dahyun and Sana will come here any moment." She said when her eyes suddenly glows in blue. Chaeyoung nodded.

Chaeyoung sighed again for the hundredth times and Mina noticed it since she returned to their shared room yesterday.

"What's wrong?"

Chaeyoung flinched in surprise when she heard Mina's voice. That rose some suspicions in her sky eyes.

"Nothing. I'm just nervous. We're going to the cage now." Chaeyoung halfly lied but most of it is because of what her and Jihyo talked about.

Mina blinked and think about her actions. She considered the possibility that her lover is being fidgety because of nervousness but her instinct tells her there is something more.

"Hmm don't worry. You'll be staying with captain in the car." Mina intertwined their hands to ease her. Chaeyoung turned to her. She looked like she wanted to say something but something is stopping her.

"Mi-"

"We are here." Dahyun announced as she stop the car. The place around them is full of trees and it is dark. Chaeyoung blinked, she realized she almost spill it.

"What are you going to say?" Mina turned to her again.

"Uhm be careful."

Mina smiled to her. She knew that wasn't what she's going to say though.

"Okay stay here and assist Dahyun. Whatever happens don't enter." Mina tightened her hold to their joined hands. Chaeyoung sighed and nodded.

"Mina let's go." Nayeon called her. The rest of the girls has already got out.

"Okay. Let's talk about what you are going to say after this." She smiled and planted a kiss to Chaeyoung's forehead before she followed them outside. Chaeyoung watched as the girls walked deeper to the forest. Her heart is bothered by what she needs to do.

Tonight is the night they will commence their attack. The plan is to destroy everything and kill the roots of the problem. Mina, Nayeon, Chaeyeon and Sana are responsible for planting the bombs. With Jisoo's guidance they got the blueprint of the new cage. The security is tight but Sakura made them a new ID for the entrance. Jisoo will be waiting for them.

Dahyun got out of the car with her drone. Sakura took care of the monitors and started turning them on. Tzuyu is preparing her gears too. Incase they need back up she's up to enter. Momo is still in their hotel along with Jeong, she said they'll follow when she finishes her things. Before letting them leave, she made sure to give them each of a healing veil. Chaeyoung knows better why they stayed back. Jihyo will be facilitating them. Jeong and Chae are told to stay and observe.

"Jihyo unnie when will we do it?"

"Wait for the signal."

Chaeyoung nodded by her side. Dahyun started the drone and it successfully flew to the sky. Sana is wearing a contact lens connected to the drone. It will also help her to conceal her real eye color while using her ability. The drone is installed with heat and movement detector with it, she can access freely what the drone can see. They'll know if a threat will come. Dahyun drove it at the very top and started the hacking with Sakura.

They saw Jisoo waiting not very far from forest exit. She wore a soft smile.

"Let's do this at once." She lead them to the entrance. The security is no joke. There is even a finger and iris identification. Good thing Jisoo prepared for it. She sneaked in the main system with a friend of hers inside. They installed their identities as workers there. The problem is the bombs. How they will smuggle it needs a great timing.

"It's my first time seeing you here." A man with a built suspiciously eyed Sana. A chance.

"eh? you want me to strip?!" She acted like she is angry. The rest of the girls heard her. Mina smirked.

"What?! I didn't-"

"Mr. Lao what are you doing with my employee?" Jisoo came to them and glare to the man. He immediately recognized her and tremble. Getting on her bad side means choosing death. Everyone in the facility knows that she have control over the demon.

"Ms. K-Kim." He stuttered. That's the time when Mina took out a card small magnet from her ears. It's a device to jam a system. While the attention is at the three, she stealthy pasted it under the checking machine for their baggages. For the alarm to take off, Nayeon applied a little force in her right fingertips while her left took off her glasses closing her eyes and acted like something got in. She tapped her right hand on the pillar of the machine causing for it to detect abnormalities. The securities  attentions are now completely at the messing machine.

"I'm sorry Ms. Kim please excuse me." The guard bowed and approached his comrades.

"Sir the machine is messing up." The other person reported.

"Why?" He frowned. It wasn't the first time but the machine rarely fails. He turned to the baggages. There are boxes that's completely sealed. He looked at it in trouble.

"Mr. Lao if you're planning of opening one of those then stop it. The chemicals inside are more important than your life." She gave her a stern glare. The man knows not to push further. He heave a sigh. He is  in trouble if the chairman knows about it but thinking about discovering, he can lie for that... He knew if he were to choose to report he will be killed with a brutal death by that demon kid but if he will ignore it, there is more great chance of survival.

"Okay you can pass Ms. Kim."

"Thank you."
