Chapter 32

It was already past twelve of midnight. Dahyun is in their shared room doing what she missed from sleeping for days. She also have to contact Sakura to talk but it seems like she's sleeping or playing since she can't contact her. She stood up from her chair and took the empty mug of hot choco.

"I need sugar." she let out a sigh. Walking to the kitchen, she heard the door's lock clicked and opened.

"DAHYUUNIEEEE" That was the first thing she heard coming from the entrance. She knows who it is and with a hurried steps towards her direction she opened her arms in anticipation. In just a second she saw her lover running towards her.

"I miss you." Sana hugged her tight. Dahyun who expected the hug welcomes her with a big smile.

"Nado." She whispered. Sana pulls slightly to see her face but her hands is still wrapped around Dahyun's neck. Her eyes reflects things she has been feeling from the time the girl got hurt.

"It sucks, I badly want to cry." She sadly smiled. Dahyun could hear the frustration in those words.

"I know." She smiled. The overflowing happiness envelops her. She actually almost died on that day if Momo didn't arrived on time. She was close in losing her life and leaving this woman in front of her. Sana can't feel grief and she can't cry. It will only make her feel empty. A confusing feeling and never ending hate. Dahyun don't like that.

"I'm sorry." She lowered her head and a tear escaped. All the tension and fear swallows her. Sana notice that and lifted her chin to stare at her watery eyes. Their eyes met and along with it is another breakdown. Seeing her unnie makes her cry more. Those eyes who badly want to cry for her but can't. It's sad and frustrating.

"I will cry for you unnie." She cried harder. Sana bite her lower lips. Closing the gap between them, she claimed Dahyun's lips. It wasn't hurried, nor passionate, it was comforting. She could taste the saltiness of those tears. It's her way to let the girl know how scared she is for her life too. Dahyun and her became each other's life and losing the other person is like losing herself. Dahyun became her tears and grief itself. A weakness.

The other members came and saw the scene. They saw the intimate reunion and shared a known smile. Jihyo tilted her head to the other way to give the girls their privacy. Leaving them alone on the kitchen.

"Stop crying, It breaks my heart." Sana pulls an inch away and stared at her glistening eyes. Dahyun smiled and nodded while their foreheads pressed together. Sana smiled too and the reunion ended with beautiful smiles.

"Let's go sleep? I miss sleeping in your arms." Sana pouted which made the younger girl giggle. She carefully wiped the tears away.

"Oh I forgot to say..." Sana smiled widely. "Tadaima." She greets after kissing the younger's forehead. Dahyun reflected the same smile.

"Okaeri" she planted a peck on Sana's lips.

"Let's sleep I'm tired." Sana let out a satisfied sigh and rested her head in Dahyun's shoulder. Dahyun plans to tell them about what her and Sakura planned about but looking at her lover's tired face maybe she can do that after they rest.

Let's save the proposal for the morning.

A bright morning came and Dahyun was the first to wake up. She saw her lover in deep sleep and smiled seeing her mouth is slightly open. Not wanting to wake her, she slowly slipped away from the comforter and eventually left the room.

"Good morning." It was Jihyo who's drinking a coffee in hand.

"Good morning unnie." She chirped.

"Are you okay now?"

"Hmm never been better." She smiled while taking a mug herself and making a hot choco.

"That's good."

Silence. Dahyun is contemplating if she were to tell her unnie first. But is that really a question?

"Unnie I have something to tell you." She took her newly made drink and sat beside the older woman.

"What is it?" She smiled looking at her in expectation. Now that she noticed, their captain wasn't wearing her mask. Will it be okay?

"Yes it will be okay. They won't be up until eight so we are safe." She reassured.

"Woah you can read minds too?" Dahyun looked at her in amazement.

"Ani, it's all over your face. Come on spill the plan." Jihyo's expression turns into a serious one. By that she knows the captain has grasped the idea already. Of course her ability.

"Sakura and I made a deal to have an alliance." She started. Jihyo nod for her to continue. "We know it's a risk for them to do it so I told her about the vials Momo unnie is making for Mina unnie. Thus, she considered the proposal and accepted it. In return, she gave me the location of those men she knew would be impossible to join us."

"So you are saying we can trust them?" Jihyo eyed her with a calm look.

"I can trust Sakura and she said the other two will follow her." she sips on her drink.

"Who?"

"Chaeyeon and... Akira." Dahyun bit her lower lip from the name.

"Akira? I can trust Chaeyeon but Akira is hard to..." Jihyo trailed off and think for a moment. "It'll be hard for the members to accept her. Specially, Sana and Mina. Also, will you be okay with her? She caused you that much trouble. You almost died there Dahyun." Her unnie gave her a worried look.

"I know unnie but Akira wasn't planning of killing me. She just wanted to take me but I didn't want to and thus caused the fight. She also hold back her strength. If she were serious that time, I would be nothing but a corpse today." Dahyun tightened her hold on the cup. "We need to do this unnie and you know that."

Jihyo let out a sigh after hearing that. Dahyun was right.

"Okay I'll help you convince them but first we have to talk with the members. They have to know too." She smiled and patted Dahyun's shoulder. Dahyun reflected the same smile.

"thank you unnie."

"What?! No way I'm agreeing to this." Sana stood up from her chair and slammed her hands on the table. After telling them everything the reaction is likely to be expected.

"Captain we can trust Chaeyeon but Akira is another case. She's dangerous." Nayeon disagreed too. Dahyun and Jihyo shared a look and both let out a sigh.

"Listen, we need much man power we can have in order to fight them. Akira is strong she can be great use if she's on our side." Jihyo reasoned.

"Dahyun you agreed to this?!" Sana turns to look at her lover in disbelief.

"Yes, it is my idea." Dahyun answered confidently.

"She almost killed you!" She angrily spat, causing for Dahyun to flinch.

"It's my fault okay? If I just followed her and talk with them-"

"Yah what nonsense are you saying-"

"Enough!" Jihyo slammed her hand in the table to stop the two from further argument. Dahyun and Sana snap out of it and remained silent. Jihyo sent them a glare, completely stopping them. A minute of silence.

"I don't like her." Mina broke the silence.

"Me too but we can't just ignore the great advantage we'll gain if we have her on our side." Jihyo answered her with a now calm but threatening tone.

"You have me already." Mina retorts.

"It's not like you can protect everyone Mina." She argued back.

"I can."

"You can't. We can't just give you all the works and fights." Jihyo let out a tired sigh. Mina didn't answer anymore. Sana has her head hang low. Momo is just observing the exchange of words. Tzuyu is silently crossing her arms and thinking. Dahyun is fidgeting with her hands. Nayeon is biting her lower lips.

"Time will come and you will understand that yourself. As much as we are given the ability to be above the normal human we are no God. You're not a God Mina. It won't always be a win. That also applies to everyone. We can't be so assured of everything. Even future can change itself depending on what we decide now."

After saying her piece everyone fell silent. They're thinking of what to do.

"Okay I will agree to this." Momo smiled.

"Nado" Tzuyu raised her hand.

"I trust captain so I will agree too." Nayeon patted Jihyo's shoulder. That only leaves Sana and Mina. Sana let out a sigh.

"Fine." She agreed. A smile came to Dahyun's lips as well with everyone except, Mina. Now all attention is on her, waiting for her decision.

"Ugh whatever. I'm in. But if she caused trouble I'll be the one to finish her." She crossed her arms and stared at Jihyo intensely.

"Yeah yeah." Jihyo smiled. Seeing that everyone is okay on it, Dahyun stood up ans clapped her hands.

"Then It's settled. I'll be calling Sakura later to talk. Mina and the other can go finish the last man."

"Nayeon, Mina, Tzuyu and Sana will go together. Momo, Dahyun and I will meet with the other party." Jihyo crossed her arms.

"What? I'll be going too. What if something happened again?" Sana interrupts.

"Nothing will happen. We will just talk about the plan besides who knows what will you do if you'll come too." Jihyo disagreed to let her come.

"But-"

"Sana unnie." Dahyun called. Sana turns to the younger woman. "I'll be fine, captain knows what to do." Seeing that there is nothing she can do to change the plan, Sana pouted.

"Fine." She huffs in annoyance.

"Very well, let's get going."

The man in black took out a camera and started picturing the three girls in the park while eating their ice cream. He has been following them from the moment they entered the restaurant until they decided to hangout in the park.

After taking a picture, he realized the card is already full. Peeling his attention from the three, he decided to change the memory card on the new one. He was inside a tinted car. So he was confident that no one would notice him but it seems like the odds is on him. Looking at the camera again, the supposed three girls turns into two. The other one is missing.

"Where did the other one go?"

"Looking for me?"  The man flinched in shock from the woman beside him.

"H-how?!" He clearly remembered that he locked the door.

"Give me the camera." She looked at him with playful eyes. The man didn't do it instead, he tried to get out of the car only to find out that he can't.

"Why the fuck this won-"

"Shut up." Akira stared at him. Her eyes now glowing in red. The man saw it and felt scared for his life. A monster. He thought.

"Don't touch me!" The man begged and fear evident in his eyes.

"Oh I won't touch filthy strangers." She gave him a bored smile. "But first, tell me why are you following us?"

"I-I can't-"

"You can't?" Her expression changed into a serious one.

"Please spare me." He begged again but his hands is slowly reaching for the gun behind him. Akira smirked at the pitiful person in front of her. The man managed to get the gun and pointed it to her immediately. He laughed feeling that he won.

"Monster!" He fired the gun. Akira didn't even mind to dodge it. The bullet stopped in front of her. floating on the air pointing on her head. Seeing that, the man was in great shock. He fired again in desperation but it's useless. Akira looked at him with a frown.

"Yah stop that." After saying those words, the gun flew out of his grip.

"Y-you're a-" He stuttered in fear.

"Nah I'm too beautiful now for a monster." She chuckled. The man cried silently he felt his stomach flipping inside in fear.

"Ohoho why are you crying? I'm just going to ask you what are you doing with this and why are you following us." She picked up the camera from the man's trembling hands.

"I- was told to keep an eye on Son Chaeyoung." He answered while still shivering in fear.

"Hmm why?"

"I don't know! I really don't I was just told to do the job and they will pay me big." He said in desperation. Akira looked at him and nodded.

"Who ordered you?" She asked now with a smile in her face.

"It was a girl with a big scar on her face but I don't know who she is I promise I am saying the truth."

"Oh so it's her." She let out a satisfied sigh. She turned around to the door and started opening it. The man thought that she will let him go. Before leaving the car she whispered something.

"Messing with my friend is going to hell itself." she whispered, but the man heard it. She closed the door and the man inside wailed in fear. The bullets floating in the air shot the engine from the inside causing for the car to explode along with the man.

"Tsk what a cheap trick." She clutched the camera into pieces and throw it on a trash can. She wiped her hands clean before going back to her two friends. She sat beside Chaeyoung silently but with smiles in her face.

"Yah what took you so long?" Jeong deadpan.

"I told you my tummy hurts." She reasoned and pouted.

"Who told you to eat all of that? Aish." The older one scolded. Akira just giggled in reply.

"No one. Now that my stomach is empty let's go eat something again." She stood up and excited looked at the other two.

"Woah daebak." Jeong shook her head in disbelief. Chaeyoung laughed on her.

"Aki I know a good restaurant. Should we go there later?" She suggested. Jeong turned to her cousin weirdly.

"Yey! It's Jeongies treat!" Akira cheered and pulled Chaeyoung to walk with her. Jeongyeon who heard what she said is fast to deny it.

"Who says it's my treat?! Yah It should be Chaeyoung's!" She followed suit.

"Aki who do you want to treat us?" Chae turned to the girl in her right.

"Jeongie!" She exclaimed.

"Yah Akira I was your first friend why are you siding with her?!" Jeong looked at her as if she was hurt.

"No I'm not." She played dumb. And the conversation continued from the three friends.

I will protect you two.
