Chapter 28

Mina is walking  freely on the small alley wearing a leather jacket with a hoodie underneath. She has her headset attached  in her ear and listening to a japanese song entitled unravel. The assassin is just there waiting for someone to finally make a move.

Four buildings away from her on top of a ten floor hotel is a sniper on the lookout. Sana has her intense blue eyes focused on Mina and gun already pointing. Nayeon and Jihyo is guarding both ends of the alley preventing anyone to come in. A man in fancy suit paired with shorts came out from the shadow.

"I see so you lured me here." The man smirked sensing Nayeon and Jihyo. Mina turned to him with her still blank serious face.

"Planning to kill me?" He asked. Mina didn't answer. She don't intend to.

"Hitotsu" She raised one finger. She remembered the time when Misaki touched Chaeyoung. (one)

"Futatsu" Another finger when they hurt Dahyun and almost killing her. (two)

"mittsu" the third finger. (three) "Fukusu" (revenge) Her killing intent is slowly leaking out.

The man laughed, he look so confident. Eyes turning red with a crazy smile on his pale face. He released her killing intent but Mina didn't even flinch.

"Permission to shoot the target, captain." Sana watched them from afar.

"Don't interrupt. I need to see how much a red creation like him can do." It was Mina who answered her.

"Ohoho you think you can stop me? I think you forgot who I am." He chuckled. Mina remained focused. She has not yet to use her ability.

"Oh sorry I don't remember weak kids." She smiled, a menacing one.

"Maybe I should let you remember." The man tilted his head and smiled widely. Mina didn't say anything and just look at him blankly. In a blink of an eye, he disappeared in front of her. Mina ducked anticipating the move. Indeed the man tried to kick her from behind. When he missed, he tried to kick her down only to be stopped by a strong grip on his ankle. Mina was not even looking behind.

"You're worse than Misaki." She commented coldly. The mere insult makes him grit in anger.

"Oh really?" Using his free leg, he jumps and tried to deliver a another kick. Mina let go of his other leg and dodged. His feet that made contact with the ground made a hole. If she were to hit by that it'll probably break her head.

"Strong legs you have." She complimented with still boredness on it. The man snorts.

"I see you're just playing with me huh. Come on witch-chan, it won't be good if I'll be the only one enjoying this." He smirked. Mina looked at her three fingers that's still up since she counted. She smiled seeing it. Taking one finger with her thumb, she cracked one knuckle. Along with it is her eye color change.

"Very well I'll give you a taste."

The man felt the excitement when she look interested to fight back now. Just like what he did, Mina disappeared in front of him and tried to kick him from behind. The man chuckled expecting the attack and tried to block it but it seems like Mina's strength is too much for him as he got his arm bone broken from blocking the hard kick.

"Fuck." He cussed after feeling his bones cracked. But Mina's attack doesn't stop there, she tried to do a round kick on the same broken arm again. Fortunately for the man, he managed to dodge it this time.

"Woah t-that's a strong kick you have." He stuttered. Mina smirked seeing his pained expression. Ugh the satisfaction.

It wasn't even a minute later, his injury healed itself. He let out a sigh and stretched the newly healed arm.

"Guess I can't fight you with this body huh." He said in a chuckle. Mina is just there in front of him still unfazed.

"Very well, I'll let you have a taste what red means." and with that, the white on his eyes turned into black. Black veins around it. A glowing blood tail with spikes grows on his lower back. Mina looked at it with a slight interest.

"Like what you are seeing?" He laughed.

"Hmm I quite am." Mina answered with her blue orbs staring at the newly transformed monster.

"Don't worry you'll die with it."

Chaeyoung along with her cousin and her new found friend Akira is playing games for almost two hours now. She had to admit that the woman is indeed interesting to hang out with. Akira has the vibes that would make you feel curious. She has a cute smile like a kid and quite energetic too. She tell what she wanted to tell and she looks like a straight forward person. It's like Mina but in different light?

"I wanted to have that plushie." Aki pointed at the small cute cat.

"Oh Chaeng it's your specialty!" Jeong wrapped her arm around her cousin.

"You want that Aki-chan?" She asked again. Akira's eyes twinkles and nodded immediately.

"Okay right up~" She looked at the claw machine and saw another penguin plushie. Cute, it looks like Mina. She did her trick and does the work. In no time she managed to take a plushie. Not one but two. She handed the cat stuffed toy to the woman and kept the penguin in her hold.

"Woah~ thank you Chaengie! I owe you one" She smiled widely as if she just won a million dollar.

"Welcome. It's a gift." She said and smiled too.

"Gift huh. Okay I'll treasure it. I owe you two now." She laughed and started walking on another game. Jeong and Chae shared a look and together they chuckled. They followed the girl but then they saw the girl Akira introduced as Chaeyeon with a grim look on her face. Along with her is another girl in a hoodie. They seem like waiting for Aki.

"Aki we need to go." She said in all seriousness. Aki seems to get the face and turned to her new friends.

"Sorry something came up. We'll be going first." She pouted.

"It's okay. We need to go home too." Jeong smiled softly.

"Thank you for the time~ I love it and Chaengie nice meeting you." She turned to the girl who's holding a penguin plushie.

"Nice meeting you too. See you next time." She shows her dimple smile.

"Aw you really look like a tiger cub. Can I call you that?" She excitedly asked.

"Aki we need to go hurry up." Chaeyeon annoyingly nudge her. Aki turned to her and glared as if saying she knew.

"Yeah you can call me that. You should go." Chaeyoung awkwardly laughed since Chaeyeon's atmosphere wasn't so welcoming.

"Hai bye bye" They started walking away and Aki waved at them. The cousins waved back too with a smile.

"She's a ball of energy isn't she?" Jeong commented.

"That I agree." Chaeng nodded. "by the way where did you meet her?" she asked.

"I saw her bantering with an ice cream vendor and I ended up treating her an ice cream." She chuckled.

"Sounds like her"

"It does. Shall we go home?" Jeong turns to her.

"Let's go"

The man coughs in blood. The impact from the kick so strong that his defense can't protect him. Mina eyes looked  down on him like some kind of God looking at it's pathetic creation.

"H-how.." he struggled to talk as he coughs again.

"I think you forgot something, Hiro." Her voice getting colder and colder each minute they fight.

"W-what-"

"Who do you think is the first creation of Red?" She looked at him with such dictating eyes. What she said made him think. The massacre before...

"y-you are.."

"Yes I am. I guessed the organization didn't tell you. I am the first successful experiment of red project but due to some reason I can't access on that power but that doesn't mean I am less stronger than any of you." She said without a still stoned face.

Yes the reason why Momo knows about the red project is because she told her. Mina used the same power when she lost it ten years ago. But due to unknown reason, she can't access it anymore nor her eyes turns red. It's always blue. For her it is still a mystery why she lost it, why she did the massacre. There seems to be a hole in her memory.

"S-so that's why they are desperate to have you." He looked down. Realization hit him.

"You should stop already." Mina said it more like a command.

"No."

Mina let out a sigh. She's getting feed  up from the man's ruthless attacks. His attacks is slow and he might be good in wide ranges but it's  no use if he's up with someone like Mina as his opponent.

"You killed her." He spat. Mina frowned, now this is different.

"You killed my sister ten years ago." He looked up at her with much hateful eyes as if he is cursing her in his mind. Mina don't understand.

"Hate... so you are here for revenge?" She asked.

"Not only me. Many of us who lost a friend wanted to kill you." He hissed.

"I see." She looked at him without a hint of remorse. "Then I'll send you to be with your sister." She smiled grimly. In a snap, the man's head falls of from its body. Sana who watched the scene has to close her eyes for a moment. She is merciless.

"sayonara" She said. Just then a clap resounded on the alley.

"Good kill!" It was none other than the woman they all have been looking for, Akira. They came from the top and jump down. Along with her is Chaeyeon and Sakura. When Nayeon sensed them she tried to go to Mina only to be stopped by Jihyo.

"They won't get her trust me." She said. But Sana is another case. Seeing the short haired woman makes her blood boil.

"Captain let me shoot her." It's more like a command.

"No Sana stay put. Mina will handle it." Jihyo stopped her.

"Just one bullet." She started aiming to Akira's head.

"Sana-chan stop." Tzuyu covered her eyes with her hand. "Calm down follow the plan." she said. It took a great push for the woman to calm herself. She let go of the trigger and resigned. Tzuyu took the sniper away and back to its case.

"Minari you managed to kill our man." She said with a smile. Mina stayed stoic looking at her but she noticed something. A familiar smell.

"Where did you get that?" Her intense blue eyes is now staring at the stuffed toy in the woman's hold.

"Oh this It's  mine." She happily show her toy. Mina don't know if it's true or not. "Come on go back to your nest. You can't fight three of us even if you let your other pets join you." Akira boredly sigh.

"I'm not afraid of that but I decided to kill you all one by one so we don't need to rush." Mina turned to Chaeyeon who looks so identical to her younger sister Chaeryeong. She stared at her for a good seconds before finally taking a step back.

"This is war. Tell that to your pathetic organization." She declared before leaving the place in a flash. Nayeon and Jihyo followed her too. The three was left alone with a beheaded man beside them.

"Ugh trash." Akira grunts looking at the dead body.

"It's your fault for playing too much." Chaeyeon let out a sigh.

"He's no use to us though." She rolled her eyes and started walking on a different direction.

"Yah help us clean this mess." Chaeyeon called.

"You can do that yourself." She tiredly wave her hand without even looking back.

"Saku-chan tell me to have more patience with that dimwit." She said in defeat.

"Let's clean Chae." Sakura ignored her words and started pouring a gasoline on the dead body.

"Ugh fine."
