Chapter 9

Chae checked again if they somehow forget something to bring on their week of vacation in Daegu. They will be using her car since it'll be pretty hasle to go there in commute. With Mina as her driver they left the condo into Tzuyu's care. Since her unnies is pretty busy with their stuffs and it's also Tzuyu who offered to help.

"Are you sure will be the only one driving? It's a six hours drive" She asked the girl who is now wearing her seatbelt.

"Yes just sleep. I will wake you up when we'll arrive at a rest stop to but something to eat." She started the engine and Chae just pouted.

"But I want to accompany you." She insist.

"Tsk let's bet you will still fall asleep." Mina teased. Chae wanted to argue but then the girl is right. She would really fall asleep considering the long drive.

"Psh at least let me accompany you." She pouted again. Mina glanced at her.

"Why are you pouting again? I told you don't do that" Mina doesn't even know why she don't like it. It isn't annoying, just makes her feel something foreign.

"Wae? aren't I cute?" She tried doing that aegyo again.

"Boss if you'll keep doing that I'll really crash this car." Mina give her a short scolding look.

"Minari is meanie" Chaeng continued.

"Yah boss" she scolded again. Chae just laughed heartily.

"Okay fine I'll stop. You know for a bodyguard you're really pushy" Chaeng commented which is really true.

"What? You want me to be like other bodyguards who barely talks and stood like a statue?" Mina asked. Well she can practically do those and will probably be natural with it but considering her mission she needs to get closer.

"Ani it's just sometimes you became the boss instead of me." Chae don't really mind she actually do liked her bodyguard more than just her job. Maybe as a friend?

"Got a problem with that? I can fix it." Mina smiled and Chae could really wonder why everytime she smiles it doesn't reach her eyes.

"Nope I actually liked it. Like I am with a friend instead of a bodyguard." She smiled too. A moment of silence. Mina does not know what to say on that. She wanted to agree but something is making her feel bad on her stomach. Did I eat something I don't like?

"So what will we do there?" she changed the topic.

"Hmm we will convince someone to be a business partner." -Chae

"Who?" Mina do really know how to act like she really does not know anything.

"Bae Joohyun or famously known as Irene. A mortal enemy of my cousin Son Seungwan" she sighed. Mina made her research about the business woman and she already know the fact that the two companies don't really click on the same box.

"Can you pursue her?" -Mina

"To be honest? I don't know" Chae sigh again.

"Come on be positive. You have me, I'm not just your bodyguard I'm also your assistant here" Mina tried to rise up the hope of the girl. She do know everything. Dahyun made it possible.

"Yeah right! I almost forgot" Chae found her smile now. Mina can't help but smile to that too. Again this weird feeling. She supposed not to feel anything anymore.

Dahyun just got home  from the supermarket when she heard a loud laughing coming from the living room and it seems like her Momo unnie's and Sana's laughs.

"What's happening here?" Dahyun peeked from the door and she found Sana hiding her face.

"Oh! Dahyunie you're back! Look you should drink this." Momo gave her a glass of seems like a lemonade.

"No don't drink it Dahyunie! " Sana stopped her from taking the glass but she noticed the smiling face of her lover and she seems crying from laughing hard?

"Why? What's in that Momo unnie?" She asked. Momo who wanted to lie did not have the chance too as she also drunk the formula.

"honesty" She answered while still laughing. The two of them looks like they came out of a asylum.

"What?"

"A formula to make you honest" Sana continued still laughing.

"and why are you laughing?" she raised a brow. God these two older girls is not on their right state at the moment.

"Because of the side effect" Momo laughed again.

"What? how long?" Dahyun wanted to smack the two crazy looking in front of her.

"three hours Dahyunie" Sana hugged her side.

"Aigoo. What did she tell you unnie?" She was asking Momo.

"Everything about your sex life" Momo laughed. Sana wanted to dig the ground seeing the glare from the younger one.

"Sana unnie?!" She glared. Sana who can't stop laughing made a peace sign.

"Sorry Dahyunie I can't lie." Sana's face looks like she is sorry but she's not.

"And what did Momo unnie told you?" She asked.

"That she somehow mistook your panty as hers and used it." Momo and Sana laughed on that. Dahyun just give Momo a disgusted and weird look.

"You did?!" she assured.

"Sorry Dubu" Momo just laughed. Dahyun was left with a sigh. This two trouble makers.

"You should just give the potion to Mina unnie" Dahyun remembered just how much digging she did yesterday.

"Then what? She'll kill me? No way" Momo shook her head still smiling like an idiot.

"But don't you think a laughing Mina is epic?" Sana laughed again. Momo has to agree with that, they never saw the girl smile more on laugh.

"Well maybe my death will be worth it" Momo laughed.

Chaeng and Mina arrived at a rest stop and buy their lunch and some snacks to eat on their way.

"Why do I feel a sudden chill" Mina talked to herself.

"You saying something?" Chae asked.

"What? uhm nothing. So what's your plan?" Mina changed the topic again.

"Well it'll be night when we arrive so maybe let's see her tomorrow. Jihyo unnie made an arrangement already. She just don't know that it's us coming." Chae eat her noodles and Mina just nodded in agreement.

"What about you?" Chaeng asked.

"What about me?" Mina give her a confused look.

"What are you planning to do if we by chance finish our job before the week ends." Chae doubted that it'll be easy but it's no harm to think otherwise.

"Hmm I'll just follow you around." she shrug.

"You don't want to you know do something fun." Chae suggested. Fun huh what a word. Mina thought.

"Well I think It'll be fun if it's with you" Mina smiled. Chae give a weird look.

"Are you flirting with me?" Chaeng asked with her playful tone.

"Whatever you take it for boss" Mina teased.

"What a player" Chae shook her head giving her a disappointed look.

"I'm not" Mina smirked.

"You are" Chae argued.

"Nope"

"Yes"

"Nope"

"Yes yes"

Mina gave her a cold stare.

"Okay fine you're no- wait.. see?! you do that." Chaeng furrowed her brows and pouted. Mina just laughed and shrug.

"Not my fault you can't resist" She smiled. Chae was left with a sigh and shake her head.

"Whatever you say BOSS" Chae answered emphasizing the last word. Mina just chuckled and they continued eating their food without bantering more. Well they choose not to.

Jeongyeon is going to be released today as the doctor said she's already fine and far from danger. Nayeon took care of her within those days she's in the hospital. Tzuyu would be kind enough to buy them foods and fruits since Nayeon won't leave her side. You could practically consider her as one of the patients, only that she isn't.

"Where is Jeongyeon unnie?" Tzuyu entered the room with foods in hand. Nayeon greeted her with a smile.

"Oh Tzuyu she's inside the bathroom changing." She smiled offering the girl to sit.

"Uhm unnie can we talk?" Tzuyu bite her lower lips. She don't want to make the girl angry but she has to say it. The earlier the better.

"Hmm?" Nayeon is pretty cheerful knowing that today Jeong will be released and they can finally go home.

"Can we talk?" Tzuyu has this very serious tone that Nayeon immediately noticed.

"Of course what is it?" She asked.

"Not here" Tzuyu signaled for her to follow. She just nodded not really knowing why her dongsaeng is acting like that. Tzuyu leaded her to the rooftop where there is no one to interrupt them.

"Why here?" Nayeon asked her in confusion.

"Unnie I know" Tzuyu started. Nayeon paused. She looked straight at Tzuyu's eyes.

"What do you mean?" she asked hoping it is not what she thought is.

"That you have a special ability." Tzuyu answered.

"H-how.."

"Unnie I know and I also know that you are being hunted." Tzuyu lowered her gaze as Nayeon kept staring at her. Eyes still reflecting shock. After minutes of silence, Nayeon realized something. How Tzuyu disappeared and came back. How that incident happened after her return. Nayeon hoped again. She hoped that the girl she treated as a younger sister is not related to what happened on them.

"You.. Are you the one who did that to Jeong?" She gritted her teeth trying to supress the anger.

"No unnie. It's someone I kno-" Before Tzuyu can finish her words she was slammed to the wall. Nayeon eyes is turning into dangerous blue. Her complexion getting paler and her strength is unbelievable. Tzuyu felt a bone broke from the impact.

"How dare you Tzuyu" She spat.

"Let me explain please" Tzuyu struggled as she felt the pain from her broken ribs. But Nayeon seems out of control as she didn't listen and continued to grip the taller girl onto the wall.

"Nayeon stop." A familiar voice stopped her from behind. She stop moving and let go of the poor girl. Tzuyu took a pill from her pocket and immediately eat it. Her injury healed started to heal. It was a pill from Momo. Nayeon turned around and saw the girl she never expected to be there. A masked girl. But she can never mistook this person. It is her.

"You too?"

"We need to talk but first you need to listen" before she could reply she felt her world turning and it was black. She collapsed, a sedative was used to her.

"Tzuyu are you okay?" the masked person checked if the younger girl is fine. After all she is a normal person without any ability she can protect for herself.

"Yes I already healed. Why did you knock her out?" She hissed. She remembered Jeongyeon how can she explain it to her unnie.

"I have to or she'll go crazy at us" Tzuyu has no answer to that. Nayeon is indeed strong so much that she didn't even saw her attack coming.

"Okay first let's cover it up to Jeong unnie."

"You can do that. I'll be bringing her with me" The masked person took the unconscious Nayeon on her back and just like that they disappeared.

"Now how the fuck do I explain it to Jeong unnie" She sighed. She stood up and dusted herself. Scratching her head, she was left thinking how to cover things up. Poor maknae.
