This was Hyulmyeo, real name Pi So-yoon.

Taking a deep breath, she muttered under her breath,

She turned to glance at the five trembling children cowering in the corner.

“Are we all going to die here?”

“Mommy… Daddy…”

Their whimpering grated on her nerves. She hated dealing with kids.

When the youngest boy among them was about to cry out loud, So-yoon clamped a hand over his mouth and whispered sharply,

“Quiet. If they hear us, we’re all dead. I’ve already called for backup. We just need to wait.”

Despite her attempt to reassure them, their faces remained pale, still fraught with fear.

She cursed her lack of social skills.
