When Velvet School Life was just a game, I wasn’t one of those players who obsessively focused on a single character to the point of rejecting all others—what people would call the “toxic fanatics” of specific characters.

Instead, I embraced all the characters, cherishing their unique charms. You could say I embodied Agape love itself, showering affection indiscriminately.

Of course, among the toxic fanatics, there were some especially dangerous ones:

The so-called “Legal Nong-Nong Cult,” who idolized Director Rina, a non-playable character. Every day, like clockwork, they would flood the forums with posts titled, “Day 157 of Wishing for Director Rina’s Release.”

The “Dark Shin Se-hee Royal Guards,” who loved Shin Se-hee yet deliberately chose dialogue options that lowered her affection points, capturing her scornful expressions to compile a "Book of Contempt."

The “Ga-eul Babblers,” who adored Im Ga-eul, called her “Mommy,” and filled comment sections with baby talk and infant wails.

These groups didn’t spare anyone who refused to focus on a single character, labeling me as a “bug” and relentlessly attacking me. They used absurd nicknames for me instead of my handle, spewing nonsense like "Bangwon's hi."

Honestly, they were... something else.

Those fanatics thrived on petty grievances, discrimination, and tearing down characters they didn’t favor. They never hesitated to criticize and belittle, often over trivial matters.

But there was one exception: Lee Yuri.

Even the toxic fanatics showed leniency toward her. They affectionately nicknamed her “Gukbapyi” (Soup Girl) and had no qualms about adding her to their parties.
