"Me? Overthinking?
Hmm.
Honestly, it was hard to agree with that.
The only things I think about during combat are basic, really.
Adjusting the placement and movement paths of my team members. Analyzing the enemy's strengths and weaknesses. Identifying attack patterns. Assessing the health and skill cooldowns of my teammates. And creating about fifteen contingency plans to prepare for any variables that might pop up.
Oh, and maybe choosing my sword path and dodging count as decision-making?
Yeah, that's about it. Itâs ridiculous to say I overthink.
When I explained this and raised my doubts, Sword Emperorâs mouth dropped in shock, and my teacher shot a glare at the party members.
"...You do all of that and say you donât think in combat?"
"Right? Isnât this standard for any party leader?"
"I knew it, but damn... what kind of incompetent fools are they to be such a burden?"
How do they expect to face enemies without at least doing this much?
As I kept up my confused expression, my teacherâs gaze sharpened on my party members, and Sword Emperor clicked her tongue, speaking up.@@novelbin@@
"Seol-hee was absolutely right. If you learn No-Self, you could become even stronger. For those who swing their sword instinctively from the beginning, learning it doesnât make a huge difference. But for you, it could mean a marked improvement."
Sword Emperor let out a dry chuckle, as if she found it all absurd.
"Even among men, youâre an irregular with this kind of power, and your decision-making is so unnaturally fast that I overlooked it."
