Whispers and murmurs spread throughout the crowd.
It had been four hours since Utopia entered the Demonic Gate, and the people stationed outside couldnât hide their unease.
Two hundred hunters, the Holy Knights, and even Utopia had been deployed to the Gate. Of course, there was still Lina, their last hope, but...
Losing everyone here would mean more than just a simple loss.
"Do you think Utopia will return safely"
As everyone stared tensely at the Demonic Gate in silence, a caster inadvertently voiced the question, then bit her lip in frustration. She had forgotten her role as a beacon of hope on the frontlines and let slip her own fear.
But Shin Se-hee gave her a reassuring smile, as if she understood.
"Donât worry. Showing the people how to confront demons was partly to raise awareness, but it was also because they were confident."
With Shin Se-heeâs bold words, the crowd regained some color in their faces. The caster, encouraged, continued with more conviction.
"Yes, youâre right. Utopia has already demonstrated to everyone their ability to defeat those terrifying demons!"
"Exactly! I watched the broadcast myself back thenâit was overwhelming. Especially Jin Yu-haâs swordsmanship⦠I still get chills just thinking about it!"
"Hey, why donât we watch that again?"@@novelbin@@
"Good idea!"
"Letâs take a look at the screen!"
The footage of Utopia subjugating a demon played in the air, and the crowd gasped in awe as they watched the demon being effortlessly taken down.
