The final battle with Shin Do-hwa in Velvetsera was notoriously challenging.

Shin Do-hwa's private guard, who followed her direct orders, combined with her powerful fire attacks from behind, made for a maddeningly difficult combination.

In short, even the most seasoned players wouldn’t be blamed for needing a few retries.@@novelbin@@

However, I assigned separate tasks to Shin Se-hee, Kang Do-hee, Sophia, and Ichika.

That left me, Lee Yuri, Senior Ga-eul, and Sasha Pong.

Among us, Sasha Pong was not really a combat asset, and Senior Ga-eul was busy recharging the White Stone, leaving her unable to support us.

In other words, it was just me and Lee Yuri who were left as the main combatants.

Even so, I was confident of victory.

‘Honestly, if not for Sasha Pong, I would have had to bring the whole party here.’

The White Stone she brought had snowballed the situation in our favor in a big way.

The biggest advantage was taking care of the private guard early on.

Normally, even if we had brought in the bugs, Shin Do-hwa would have quickly regained her composure with the guard’s help.

“─Gross!!!! Get away from me!!!”

But with no barriers in place, she had completely lost her usual cold composure, frantically shaking and trying to fend them off.

Then, as if she couldn’t take it anymore:

“Get out of here!!!”

Flames erupted from her entire body.

I signaled to Lee Yuri with a glance. She nodded in response.

With a fierce cry, she drew her dagger and struck her shield.
