In a crisis, Thalasso quickly tossed the tray aside and her entire body fell Into Lysanderâs arms.
Her face happened to land on his.
With firm skin, the manâs face was hot to the touch Thalassa was already flustered, feeling the warmth on his face made her heart beat even faster In her confusion, she tried to stand up. âIâm sorry. I didnât mean to.â
She grabbed his sult collar trying to stand up, but her wrist was caught by a big hand.
His calloused hand gave off a threatening warmth as it tightly gripped Thalassaâs wrist.
She felt like she was under his control, and it was suffocating.
Thalassa struggled helplessly, trying to pull her hand free. âMr. Sinclair, I really didnât mean to Lysander grabbed her waist and pulled her onto his lap with his other hand.
âLysander is such a bully!â Alaric started to jeer, laughing heartily.
Richard and Ethan immediately stood up. They knew that once Lysander got really angry, it would be too late to run away Lysanderâs icy gaze swept towards Alaric. âSeems like your tongue needs to be cut off with a scalpel, ri ght?â
Alaric was stunned and quickly followed Richard and Ethan out of the room âI misunderstood. Donât be angry, Lysander. Iâm leaving right now. I didnât say anything. and I didnât see anything.â
The men hurriedly left with their dates.
Alaric even came back to close the door for them.
In the large room, only Thalassa and Lysander were left.
One of his hands gripped her wrist, the other held her waist, and she was still sitting on his lap, tightly h eld in his arms.
She could clearly feel his strong heartbeat.
Thalassa was becoming more and more scared, her heart pounding.
âMr. Sinclair, we arenât anything to each other, and you shouldnât do this,â Thalassa said, trying to pull h er hand free, but she failed Lysanderâs deep gaze stared at her, âNothing? You seem to have forgotten what happened five years ago. Let me jog your memory.â
His hand started to roam her body.
Wherever his hand touched felt like fire, and Thalassaâs skin was burning and tingling She was so scared that she began to shiver. âMr. Sinclair, what happened five years ago was an accide nt. Donât take it to heart Ah!â
Before she could finish, she felt a chill on her shoulder. Her clothes were pulled aside, and her shoulder was bitten by him.
She cried out in pain.
Lysander was like a devil, biting her round shoulder.
Thalassa was in so much pain, and her body was shaking. She wanted to push him away, but her hand was tightly gripped by him and she couldnât move.
She begged in panic. âMr. Sinclair, it was Alaric who tripped me on purpose. I really didnât mean to.â
Lysander let go of her shoulder, his tongue lightly tracing where he had bitten.
The warm and wet sensation was like electricity sliding across her skin.
Thalassa couldnât stand it and began to tremble.
She felt extreme fear.
âYou donât seem to remember what I said the night before last,â Lysanderâs voice was dangerous, and h is hot breath was on her neck.
He was like a beast that could bite her neck at any moment.
Thalassa was so scared that she was stiff, not daring to move.
What did he say the night before last? She quickly scanned her memory.
She finally remembered. The night before last night, Lysander also bit her and warned her. No matter who she loved in her heart, her body could only belong to him She was scared that he would go to her house and find out about her kids.
So, she tried to get him to leave as soon as possible, and she casually agreed to him.
With a sigh of relief, Thalassa said, âMr. Sinclair, i didnât forget.â
