Evelyn slapped her thigh and said, “Damn, I left them downstairs.”

With that, Evelyn rushed out to find them.

Elowen’s big eyes were bright and childlike, she looked at Thalassa, blinked twice, and said in her baby ish voice, “What a forgetful grandma.”
