Thalassa was such a dolt, how on earth could she ever give birth to a genius daughter?
Just like five years ago, Thalassa went to fetch some firewood for Leopold Sinclairâs bath on someone elseâs advice, which allowed Isabella to jump into bed with Leopold.
Thalassa was as dumb as a pig! A brainless swine!
A woman as dumb as her couldnât possibly give birth to a genius.
Sophia finding out the emerald pendant was fake could just be a coincidence.
Isabella shot down the idea that Sophia was a genius.
She agreed with Gretaâs opinion, âYeah, Thalassa is the disgrace of Hollowbrook, even a sow has less offsprings than her!â
Isabella was green with envy for Thalassa.
Thalassaâs children were from Starhavenâs top dog, the kingpin Lysander.
Isabella wanted to bear Lysanderâs children too, but she never got the chance.
If she could, sheâd be willing to bear ten kids for Lysander!
Sadly, Lysander never gave her the chance.
Thalassaâs villa was built by Lysander, how could it possibly have any quality issues? Itâs much better than her building!
The more she envied, the more poisonous her words became, wishing Thalassa would just vanish.
Thalassa couldnât take it anymore, they were trying to set her up and blaming her as if she did something wrong.
Thalassa walked in, coughed loudly, âYou guys are talking behind my back, arenât you afraid your tongues will get cut off?â
Greta was already feeling guilty. Hearing Thalassaâs cough scared her, she looked at Thalassa and said to Isabella, âI have food on the stove at home, I need to go.â
After saying that, Greta quickly left.
Thalassa didnât stop her. She was here to confront Isabella.
Isabella, however, acted nonchalant, with a fake smile on her face, âThalassa, what brings you here?â
Though she said that, she didnât offer Thalassa a seat.
Thalassa took out the emerald pendant from her pocket, showed it in the palm of her hand, âIs this something you made and deliberately let Greta find?â
Isabella glanced at the emerald pendant, laughed, and said, âJust a joke, donât take it so seriously.â
Having said that, she wanted to go back to her room, not wanting to talk to Thalassa anymore.
Thalassa grabbed her shoulder, sternly said, âIsabella, give me back the real emerald pendant!â
Isabella paused, her heart racing, pretending not to understand, âWhat are you talking about, I donât get it.â
âMy old emerald pendant and this one are exactly the same. If you didnât find my emerald pendant, how would you know what it looks like?â Thalassaâs eyes were determined, her logic was clear.
Isabellaâs eyes flickered, saying, âI saw your drawing at your house. It was this emerald pendant, so I took your drawing and had someone copy it.â
Hearing this explanation, Thalassa was puzzled, her previously determined eyes turned confused.
The kids also said that she had once shown them the emerald pendant through a drawing.
Now Isabella also said she copied it from her drawing.
Why canât she remember ever drawing that emerald pendant? Did she really forget?
Seeing her expression change, Isabella said more firmly, âI took your sketch and had someone make it according to the design. I was trying to help you since youâve been looking for that emerald pendant for so many years. It must mean a lot to you. I thought, even a fake one might be of use to you.â
