Who wouldâve expected this fabricated and malicious history created by Isabella to be uncovered and used as evidence against her for stealing design plans!
Thalassa was speechless, burning with frustration, âI really didnâtâ¦â
âSo youâre the mole!â Zephyr suddenly stood up, glaring at Thalassa in fury.
His gaze was like a sharp knife, causing Thalassa to feel pain all over her body. She felt helpless and cornered.
She tried to explain but found she couldnât.
Her mind was a mess, she didnât understand the whole situation, how could she explain?
But she was truly innocent.
Thalassa turned to Lysander for help, but he just sat there, his face cold and unreadable.
âTake her to the police station. Theft and commercial espionage! Sheâs guilty of both!â Zephyr, out of breath with anger, ordered.
Zephyr usually stayed out of the Sinclair group affairs, but this time he wanted to be part of the fashion show, hoping to pick out his favorite piece as a gift for Sybil..
Zephyr promised Sybil he would bring her a gift.
But the fashion show was a disaster!
Zephyr was angry because he couldnât keep his promise to Sybil. Sybil was at home expecting a gift, but it seemed like her wish wouldnât be fulfilled.
Thinking about Sybilâs disappointment, Zephyrâs heart ached.
As a result, his hatred for the person who ruined the fashion show intensified. Punishment was a must!
David received the order and came forward to take Thalassa away.
Thalassa, panicked, said to Lysander, âMr. Sinclair, I didnât steal the designsâ¦â
âTake her away!â Zephyr barked.
David looked at Lysander for confirmation, but he just sipped from his cup, saying nothing.
âMs. Everhart, please come with me.â David stood in front of Thalassa, gesturing for her to follow.
Thalassa gave Lysander a helpless look and walked out of the office, with David following behind.
Zephyr was so angry his chest was heaving, he shot Lysander a sharp look and said, âYour grandma is waiting for me at home, Iâm leaving.â
After he left, the office was quiet.
âMr. Sinclair, Thalassa, a woman with a criminal history, hasnât reformed, but her behavior has gotten worse. Even if sheâs Celiaâs cousin, we canât let her off. If Celia was alive and knew Thalassa was such a bad person, she would be heartbroken.â Faye tried to persuade Lysander.
Her goal was to stop Lysander from forgiving Thalassa because of Celia.
Lysanderâs sharp gaze made Faye feel exposed, âThe design plan is a company secret, it should have been in the hands of the person responsible for managing it. How did it end up on the conference table?â
Lysanderâs deep voice emphasized the word âend upâ.
Fayeâs face turned pale with embarrassment, âMr. Sinclair, Iâm sorry, I was careless. After the meeting. I left the design plan on the conference table. When I came back, I found Thalassa looking at the planâ¦
Lysander stared at Faye, âYou also didnât stop the rumors immediately, allowing them to spread! Your carelessness has gotten worse â since Thalassa joined the company. It seems itâs time for you to leave, go homeâ¦â
Faye was apologizing, but when she heard Lysanderâs words, she looked up at him in shock, âMr.
Sinclair, Iâm sorry, Iâll work harder and wonât make mistakes again. I was distracted because I saw Thalassa getting close to you frequently, which made me anxious and caused mistakes in my work. As long as Thalassa leaves the company, I can return to my usual calm and composed self.â
âSo youâre saying, one of you has to leave?â Lysander raised an eyebrow
