Trey don't know what the fuck kinda energy Zay on, but one thing clear-this nigga don't go away.
It's been damn near two weeks since that lil' burger spot incident, and somehow, Zay keep poppin' up like they got a schedule.
Gas station. Gym. Even outside Trey's apartment complex one night-talkin' 'bout he was just passin' through.
Trey ain't dumb. That nigga doin' that shit on purpose.
And now, it's happening again.
Trey sittin' in his car outside a corner store, scrollin' on his phone before goin' in. He peep movement out the corner of his eye, and soon as he look up-boom.
Zay.
Walkin' out the store, openin' a pack of Backwoods like he ain't just materialized outta nowhere.
Trey close his eyes for a second, inhalin' slow. He swear this nigga gotta be workin' for the feds or some shit.
Zay notice him instantly, grinnin' like he been waitin' on this moment all day. "Damn, Zo, you followin' me now?"
Trey stare at him, unimpressed. "Nigga, you the one poppin' up every two days like a damn bill collector."
Zay laugh, shakin' his head. "Nah, for real though, why you always outside by yo'self?"
Trey open his car door. "Why you always in my business?"
Zay smirk. "Cause you don't tell a nigga shit. I gotta investigate."
Trey get out the car, shuttin' the door behind him. "Nigga, you not a detective."
Zay tilt his head, still grinnin'. "But if I was, you'd be my favorite case."
Trey stare at him for a second, then shake his head, walkin' toward the store. "You annoyin' as fuck."
Zay follow right behind him, unfazed. "And you act like you don't like it."
Trey don't even respond to that. Ain't no point. This nigga gon' say what he wanna say regardless.
Inside the store, Trey grab a Gatorade and some Honey Buns, tryna ignore Zay hovering behind him like a damn shadow.
Zay glance at Trey's snacks and smirk. "Damn, big nigga, that's all you eat? You don't cook?"
Trey grab his wallet. "Nigga, do you?"
Zay laugh. "Hell nah. That's why I asked you."
Trey shake his head, steppin' to the register. "You got a bad habit of worryin' 'bout shit that don't concern you."
Zay lean on the counter. "Aight, so what do concern me?"
Trey pay for his shit, grab his bag, and look Zay dead in his face. "Not me."
Zay hold his chest like Trey just broke his heart. "Damn, Zo. Why you so cold to a nigga?"
Trey push past him, headin' for the door. "Why you so pressed?"
Zay follow him outside, still smirkin'. "Nigga, I ain't pressed. I'm persistent."
Trey unlock his car and open the door. "Same shit."
Zay watch him for a second, then chuckle. "Aight, Zo. Keep actin' like you don't fuck wit' me."
Trey don't even look at him. Just get in his car, shut the door, and pull off.
But the crazy part?
He ain't even all that mad Zay keep showin' up.
And that shit lowkey piss him off.
