The sun was up now, high in the sky, shining through the window. The day was warm, and the city was just starting to move. But Trey and Zay were still in their zone, tucked away from the rest of the world in the comfort of Trey's apartment.
Trey finished his breakfast first, pushing the plate to the side and grabbing his phone off the counter. Zay sat back in his chair, scrolling through his social media, occasionally glancing at Trey like he wasn't even trying to hide it.
Trey looked up from his phone, catching Zay's eye. Zay was smirking, lip caught between his teeth like he was tryin' to hide a laugh.
"What?" Trey asked, brow arched.
"Nothin'," Zay said, still smirking. "Just lookin' at you."
Trey shook his head, standing up and grabbing the plates. "You weird."
Zay stood too, following Trey to the sink. "I just like lookin' at you. You cute when you serious."
Trey shot him a look, but the corner of his mouth twitched like he was tryin' not to smile. "Cut it out."
Zay moved closer, standing behind Trey as he washed the dishes. "What you doin' today?" he asked, voice low, just above a whisper.
Trey leaned against the sink, glancing back at him. "I got errands to run. Then I might hit the gym."
Zay smirked. "You got all that energy for the gym, but you ain't got time to kick it with me?"
Trey rolled his eyes, but there was a smile tugging at his lips. "You always tryna get me to stay home, but you don't even know how to relax."
Zay chuckled, then leaned in closer, pressing his chest lightly into Trey's back, his arms wrapping around Trey's waist from behind. Trey stiffened for a second before he relaxed into it. Zay's warmth settled against him like they belonged there.
"You ain't gon' tell me you don't want me all up on you, Trey," Zay said, his voice soft but teasing.
Trey paused for a moment, feeling the heat of Zay's body against his own. He cleared his throat before speaking. "I ain't actin' like nothin'. You just like bein' extra."
Zay laughed softly, squeezing him a little tighter. "I like bein' extra with you. You know that."
Trey didn't answer right away, his hands resting on the counter as he leaned back slightly into Zay, letting their bodies align for just a moment. "You lucky I fuck with you."
Zay kissed the side of Trey's neck before pulling away, moving back to the living room with that same cocky grin. "I know, nigga. You ain't gotta remind me."
Trey shook his head with a small smile, finishing the dishes and making sure everything was put away. "I'll be ready in a bit," he said, turning to dry his hands.
Zay walked toward the door, calling back over his shoulder, "Aight, but you gone miss me when I'm gone."
Trey glanced over at him, a grin tugging at his lips. "I'll be fine."
Zay rolled his eyes but softened his tone, "Yeah, alright, baby."
