Ch.8 Past and Present

Y/N's POV

I honestly didn't know what to feel, should I feel happy that Dynasty actually likes me?

"Dynasty I don't know what to say, I mean I'm happy you said that ur are you sure you want me?"

"Yes Y/N, of course I want, I've realized that you are the only one for me and I need you in my life."

"It's just I have many faults and that's really why people don't like me.... I have so many secrets that I can't tell cause they hurt me too much."

"It's okay Y/N, we are best friends you can tell me anything and I'll make sure I don't make you feel uncomfortable."

"Well I guess I could tell you, it's happened back in kindergarten. I don't really remember those days but I know why I don't. One time me and my parents were driving home and we were having the best time ever but before we knew it a drunk driver crashed into us, before the crashed happened my mom saw it coming and protected me with her body to keep me safe. She kept me safe but all the glass went into her and she died, after that day I became really mad at my dad for not protecting my mom and I've resented him ever since. Also during the crash I hit my head so I don't remember anything before kindergarten."

Dynasty starts tearing up

"Oh my god Y/N I'm so sorry that happened to you, I understand you now, all the things you went through, I'm so sorry all that happened to you, you deserve better."

"It's fine Dynasty, I've left that behind me... well some of it, I still don't like my father."

"No Y/N to make your life better you are going to apologize to your father and make up with him, he's one of the last family you got so you have to love him. Now go and make up with him."

She pushes me away and I start walking towards my house. I don't know how to say anything to that man but I guess it's time to forgive him.

I get home and see him at the kitchen table reading the newspaper and eating. He sees me and I'm guessing he expects me to ignore him cause he looks away.

*cough* *cough* "um...... Dad"

He has a surprised face on.

"Did you just call me dad?"

He gets up and I run to give him a hug

"I'm so sorry dad, I shouldn't have blamed you for mother's death, it wasn't your fault and I should've been a better son, I love you Dad."

He starts tearing up and so do I

"I love you to son, I should've tried harder as a dad."

We both get back in equal terms and restart our relationship. Thinking about relationships..... oh my gosh I completely forgot Dynasty confesses her love to me. How the heck am I going to confront her tomorrow when I didn't give her an answer. I then look at the mall bag that had a ring in it.

"I guess this could work."

Well I'm finally back. Happy to see some of the few that actually read this story. I just wanted to say that I am coming back to creating books and I have some plans for certain story's. Now for this book the finale should be up a little while after I publish this if you read this right when it comes out. Now the news for the other story's is secret for now.
